Biden saber rattling with Putin, warns US may be pulled into 'direct conflict' with Russia

WASHINGTON, DC - The warmongers, led by the occupant of the White House, Joe Biden, are salivating at the thought of engaging in a direct conflict with Russia. As Law Enforcement Today previously reported, the American people are facing many threats that stand to make 2024 a dangerous year.

Nowhere is that threat more profound than that of the United States getting sucked into a war with Russia or China. At a time when military recruiting is lagging, and patriotism seems to have gone the way of CNN+, Biden engaged in some saber rattling with Vladimir Putin last week.

According to Newsweek, Biden warned that the United States is looking at the possibility of directly engaging Russia if it is successful in its war against Ukraine.

Biden’s remarks came after Russia launched a massive aerial attack last Friday, with officials in the capital city of Kyiv saying at least 110 missiles struck Ukraine, hitting targets such as hospitals, residential buildings, and a shopping center. Ukrainian officials said at least 31 Ukrainian citizens were killed in the attack, while at least 120 were wounded, according to Reuters.

“Overnight, Russia launched its largest aerial assault on Ukraine since this war began,” Biden said in a statement. “It is a stark reminder to the world that, after nearly two years of this devastating war, Putin’s objective remains unchanged. He seeks to obliterate Ukraine and subjugate its people. He must be stopped.”

The war, now in its 22nd month, has increased tensions between Moscow and members of NATO, who have dumped billions of dollars into Ukraine in military aid and weapons. Support, however, has begun to waver in several countries, including the United States. In the House, Republicans are withholding sending aid to Ukraine unless Biden agrees to do something about our own invasion at the southern border.

Biden claimed Friday that Ukrainian defense forces had successfully fended off a number of missiles and drones launched by Russia thanks to air defense systems provided by the United States.

However, Biden, always one to enter politics into the conversation, blamed congressional Republicans for not opening up the money spigot for Ukraine. He warned that unless lawmakers take “urgent action in the new year,” the US will be unable to continue providing aid to Ukraine in the way of “weapons and air defense systems.”

Biden has in the past warned Republicans that failure to provide aid to Ukraine would pose a security threat to the NATO alliance and, by extension, the United States. Another aid package was announced by the White House last week of $250 million.

“The stakes of this fight extend far beyond Ukraine,” Biden claimed on Friday. “They affect the entirety of the NATO alliance, the security of Europe, and the future of the transatlantic relationship.

“When dictators and autocrats are allowed to run roughshod in Europe, the risk rises that the United States gets pulled in directly. And the consequences reverberate around the world. We cannot let our allies and partners down. We cannot let Ukraine down. History will judge harshly those who fail to answer freedom’s call.”

Biden asked Congress to pass an additional $110 billion aid package that would be used to support efforts in Ukraine, as well as in Israel and “other national security needs.” Republicans, however, have struck down such efforts.

The primary reason Republicans are blocking Biden’s request for more money for foreign countries is the administration’s lack of concern for our border with Mexico, where an estimated 10 million illegals have crossed into the US since Biden’s inauguration.

House Speaker Mike Johnson said at a news conference that Republicans would not discuss Biden’s proposals for additional Ukrainian aid until the administration does something about border security. Johnson calls it a “hill to die on” in negotiations with congressional Democrats and Biden.
