The infamous Taliban group, which recently over through Afghanistan, and is forcing American’s out by August 31st, has now said that music will be banned in the country. Additionally, if women want to travel for several days, they must do so with a male chaperone.
The Taliban leader also noted that the group is looking to “build the future”, according to reports.
In an interview with The New York Times, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid explained that on journeys that last three days or longer, women will need a chaperone, or “mahram”.
“If they go to school, the office, university, or the hospital, they don’t need a mahram,”
Mujahid also noted that music “is forbidden in Islam”, therefore it will be banned in the country, saying:
“we’re hoping that we can persuade people not to do such things, instead of pressure them.”
He then added:
“We want to build the future, and forget what happened in the past,”
The only thing thats changed about the taliban is that they have now been armed to the teeth by the Americans.
You couldn't make it up.

Mujahid had warned earlier this week that employed women in Afghanistan temporarily stay indoors until the Taliban trains security forces on “how to deal with women”, Fox News reported.
During a press conference on Tuesday, August 24th, Mujahid said:
“Our security forces are not trained [in] how to deal with women – how to speak to women [for] some of them,”
“Until we have full security in place … we ask women to stay home.”
The Taliban recently said it will respect “women’s rights,” however various reports from the ground are painting a very different picture.
When the Taliban was in control from 1996-2001, women faced horrible challenges and discriminations.
During those years, women were forbidden from attending school or work. Additionally, if they wanted to leave their homes, they were forced to wear head-to-toe coverings and were required to have a male escort.

The women in Afghanistan are reportedly very worried that those conditions will return as the Taliban gains control once again.
One former Afghan journalist who fled the country in 2015, Rukhsar Azamee, spoke with Fox News’s “The Story” Wednesday and said her “heart goes out for all the women in Afghanistan.”
“They won’t have the opportunity to go to school, to go to college, and to have a right to work or just leave their house without a male. It’s devastating. It’s heartbreaking. We’re also seeing the sign of those actions already.
There are many women now, on state-owned TV stations in Kabul, that female journalists and TV presenters were not allowed to go back to work. Despite having, I.D., credentials to work. That is concerning,”
Earlier this week, CIA director William Burns secretly met with a leader of the Taliban. Following that meeting, President Biden “decided” not to extend the August 31st deadline to remove all United States military troops from Afghanistan.
This decision has the Biden administration racing against a very dangerous clock.
The situation turned from bad to worse when a suicide bomber attacked the Abbey Gate at Kabul’s airport which killed our United States Marines.
In response to the chaos taking place in Kabul, Rep. Dan Crenshaw introduced legislation that opposes the recognition of the Taliban.
He discussed it on Twitter, saying:
“The Taliban are terrorists. They cant be trusted and shouldn’t be recognized or legitimized. That’s why I introduced a bill to make sure they aren’t.”

MSNBC analyst responds to suicide bombings, deaths of U.S. servicemen, by telling America ‘deal with it’
August 27, 2021
An MSNBC intelligence analyst shockingly downplayed the horrific suicide bombings that claimed the lives at least 13 service members in Afghanistan, by telling his nearly 1 million Twitter followers to “DealWithIt.”
In a now-deleted tweet dated August 26, 2021, MSNBC intelligence analyst, media pundit on terrorism, and Navy veteran Malcolm Nance wrote:
“20 YEARS- FYI there have been terrorist suicide bombers killing civilians nearly DAILY in Afghanistan.
“This ain’t new. It’s why we are leaving.
If someone at a major cable news network tweeted #dealwithit as it relates to George Floyd or Breonna Taylor, they would be immediately fired and called racist. Nothing will happen to Malcolm Nance. https://t.co/eACo4tt9QJ

Backlash to this decidedly tone-deaf statement was understandably swift and harsh.
Jason Rantz of KTTH Radio responded:
“MSNBC’s Malcolm Nance: “Deal with it.”
“Ten Marines are dead. Malcolm Nance is a ghoul.”
MSNBC's Malcolm Nance: "Deal with it."

One Twitter user challenged Nance to stand behind his words in front of new Gold Star families, tweeting:
“Say this to the mothers of the service members who died.”
U.S. Army officer Rick Dickson echoed this sentiment, saying:
“I cannot believe the callousness in this tweet when I think of all the people I’ve known, and heard stories about, who’ve died in the past 20 years.
“Imagine telling a grieving family, partner force or U.S., ‘It happens. Deal with it.’”

Journalist and FourthWatch editor Steve Krakauer wrote:
“Imagine not just thinking this, but feeling so beyond shame and perspective that you tweet it publicly.”
This tweet was followed by:

Chicks on the Right minced no words in their response, calling Nance an “absolute jackass”:
“‘Deal with’ with American casualties, this absolute jackass says. Just #dealwithit you guys.
“OMG. What WON’T leftists do to cling to this worthless president’s policies?
“This is disgusting.”

After public outcry over his insensitive words, Nance deleted his tweet and issued a multi-part explanation and an apology of sorts.
He began by announcing the deletion of his tweet and claiming “regret” for his words, stating:
“HERE IS WHY I’m going to delete this tweet.
“Today we lost 12 brave Americans & many Afghans.
“I deeply regret how callous it now sounds.
“I would never intentionally disrespect my brothers & sisters in arms.
“I also sincerely apologize to their families, and I pray for them.”
Nance continued by suggesting that his tweet was tone-deaf because it was supposedly posted “before there were any serious casualties reported”:
“As proud combat veteran whose family has served the U.S. military for 150 years, I spent almost all of my adult hood in defense of our country & its freedoms & guarded it w/my own life.
“Yes, I posted before there were any serious casualties reported. I should’ve waited.”

His third tweet in this series read:
“Over 70,000 Afghan civilians, 40,000 Afghan soldiers, and 2,743 Americans have died in this conflict.
“I am heartsick about the lives we have already lost and those we lost today.”

Nance concluded with a promise for “more empathy,” writing:
“Finally: My first Intel job was in Beirut, 1983.
“We lost 322 Marines/Sailors & civilians in just 2 suicide attacks. I was at the Pentagon 9/11 & survived Suicide Bombers in Iraq.
“My work is to keep you informed w/accurate assessments.
“I’ll keep doing that …with more empathy.”

This incident is certainly not the first time MSNBC’s ‘terror expert’ has treated terrorist activity flippantly via his Twitter account.
Isn't that the guy who was calling for an attack on Trump Tower? Yup.
Analyst Malcolm Nance stepped up and suggested that ISIS bomb a Trump property in Turkey. “This is my nominee for first ISIS suicide bombing of a Trump property”

According to The Federalist, in 2017 Nance posted a now-deleted tweet showing a picture of Trump Tower Istanbul and wrote:
“This is my nominee for first ISIS suicide bombing of a Trump property.”
According to Fox News, Nance never apologized for this tweet.

Kamala Harris also came under fire recently for her apparent cavalier attitude on the serious situation in Afghanistan.
Below is our report on that, previously published on August 24, 2021.
Kamala Harris responds by laughing when press asks her about Americans trapped in Afghanistan
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As appears to be her habit, Kamala Harris has once again met questions on a serious subject with silly, wide-mouthed laughter.
On Friday, August 20, Harris was approached by reporters asking about the chaotic situation in Afghanistan after the country was taken over by Taliban fighters.
The exchange between Harris and reporters can be seen in the Twitter post below.

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) August 22, 2021
As Harris, smiling widely, approaches the press pool, one member of the press can be heard to say,
“What is your response to Americans – “
A grinning Harris is seen to cut the reporter off, saying, “Hold on, hold on — slow down, everybody,” before bursting into laughter, shoulders shaking.
After apparently regaining her composure, Harris did issue a statement with a straight face, promising that a “one of our highest if not our highest priority right now” is to “safely ensure that we evacuate American citizens, Afghans who work with us, Afghans at risk, including women and children.”
This apparent joking matter comes at a time when Harris has already fallen under criticism for not facing the circumstances in Afghanistan.
The vice president virtually disappeared from public view, and from Joe Biden’s side, for several days after the Taliban overran Afghanistan.
According to the New York Post, she did not appear in public, for interviews or other events, for at least six days, and could only be seen in still photos.
In addition, Harris did not join Joe Biden on camera during his speech on Afghanistan. According to Breitbart, she watched the president’s speech from the green room.
In fact, the laughing interview footage was taken as Harris was preparing to leave on a trip to Singapore and Vietnam, arguably a priority that pales in comparison to the current foreign policy debacle her administration is facing.
The New York Post quotes a “senior Biden administration official” as explaining:
“Vietnam today is an increasing partner of the United States.
“And that’s why the vice president is going.”

— New York Post (@nypost) August 23, 2021
The official added:
“We are all confident that she can do this trip and pursue all of these important interests while staying engaged on the subject of Afghanistan.”
Although publicly ‘engaging’ thus far has been accompanied by laughter, this is certainly not the first time the vice president has cackled in response to a serious question on a serious subject.
For example, in June of 2021, NBC’s Lester Holt asked Harris, who had been placed in charge of the border in March, if she was going to travel to the border.
Cringe. Kamala Harris doesn't get it.
Holt: "Do you have any plans to visit the border?"
Harris: "We've been to the border. We've been the border."
Holt: "YOU haven't been to the border."
Harris: "…..and I haven't been to Europe. I don't understand the point you're making." pic.twitter.com/fFXMf8X0b6
— Andrew Clark (@AndrewHClark) June 8, 2021
A smiling Harris repeatedly insisted that “we” had been to the border, at which point Holt pressed:
“YOU haven’t been to the border.”
“And I haven’t been to Europe.”
She immediately followed this statement with laughter, and added,
“I don’t understand the point that you’re making.”
Another instance of strangely-timed laughter occurred in October of 2020 when CBS’s Norah O’Donnell asked Harris if she had a “socialist or progressive perspective.”

Harris burst out laughing, and, while answering the question, burst into laughter again.
More inappropriate laughter from Harris occurred during a January 2020 press conference on the impeachment hearings.
In the Twitter video below, Harris appears to be joking around with colleague Sherrod Brown during this very serious event, apparently prompting Chuck Schumer to silence them with a hand wave.

Also, on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, Harris burst into inexplicable laughter during a speech on health insurance and expanding Medicaid.
She told listeners:
“We also must work together to call on Congress to advance other components of our build back agenda.
“To expand Medicaid in every state. To expand Medicaid in every state.”
“People live in every state. That’s the logic.”
At this point she burst into loud laughter.
In yet another example, Harris drew criticism in April, 2021, when she laughed loudly at a question about remote learning for children in the San Diego Unified School District.
Laughing throughout her words, Harris declared:
“More parents are seeing the value of educators when they have to -“
Harris’ remaining words were obscured by her cackling over them.
She continued with a gasp for air, followed by:
“And say we’re not paying them nearly enough, hahahaha.”
Katie Pavlich, editor of Townhall.com, had some pointed criticism for Harris’ behavior in the face of this serious subject, saying:
“Has nobody sat down with the vice president and said, ‘You have to stop laughing when you are asked serious questions’?
“It makes you look out of touch. It makes you look incompetent.
“That’s a basic thing that they should have fixed by now.”
