Nevada woman allegedly stabs date in neck to “avenge death” of Iranian general in U.S. drone strike

HENDERSON, NV – A woman in Nevada allegedly stabbed her date in revenge for the death of an Iranian military leader who was killed by a U.S. drone strike in 2020.

The woman has been identified as 21-year-old Nika Nikoubin.  According to The U.S. Sun, she is Iranian.

KLAS reports that Nikoubin and her unidentified male victim met on the dating website Plenty of Fish.

According to the New York Post, the victim picked up Nikoubin at her home on March 5, 2022, and they drove together to the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson, where they booked a room together.

The police report states that Nikoubin next took a shower, then went to the hotel lobby to get orange juice to drink with the alcohol her victim brought with him.

After drinking the alcohol, the pair began having sex.  Nikoubin reportedly climbed on top of the victim and blindfolded him before turning off the lights in the room.

The Post continues:

“Several minutes later, the victim felt Nikoubin reach over to the nightstand and suddenly the man ‘felt a pain on the side of his neck,’ according to the report.

“The victim then shoved Nikoubin off him and yelled, ‘What are you doing?’ before she ran out of the hotel room and he called the police.”

KLAS reports that Nikoubin, after running out of the room, told a hotel employee that she had just stabbed someone.

Nikoubin was charged with “attempted murder, two counts of battery and burglary of a business.”

She is currently being held on $60,000 bail.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 24.

According to police, Nikoubin said that she “wanted revenge.”

CBS News notes that the police stated in their report that the stabbing was “for revenge against U.S. troops for the killing of Qassem Soleimani in 2020.”

The Las Vegas Review-Journal also reports:

“‘She advised that there are injustices, in particular the killing of Qasem Soleimani in Iran,’ homeland security detectives added to the Henderson arrest report. ‘Nikoubin stated she wanted revenge.’”

According to CBS News, Nikoubin also advised police that she listened to a song called “Grave Digger” to get the “motivation… to carry out her revenge.”

Top Iranian military leader Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani was killed in January of 2020 by a precision drone strike on a Baghdad airport.  The strike was ordered by President Donald Trump.

CNN reports that President Trump said after the strike:

“He was planning a very major attack and we got him.”

Since 1998, Soleimani had been head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force, which CNN states is “an elite unit that handles Iran’s overseas operations.”  The United States declared this unit to be a terrorist organization.

Soleimani’s military career began during the Iran-Iraq war during the early 1980s.

According to The Pentagon, Soleimani and his troops were “responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more.”

Furthermore, U.S. officials believe that Soleimani’s units were the ones that gave Iraqi insurgents “specially made bombs that could penetrate armor, a deadly weapon against American forces.”

Also, according to CNN, U.S. Treasury officials stated that Soleimani was involved in a plot in 2011 to assassinate Adel Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United States, at Cafe Milano in Washington D.C.

CNN also reports that shortly before the drone strike that killed Soleimani, the Defense Department blamed the Major General for deadly attacks on coalition bases in Iraq.

On the day of Soleimani’s death, the Defense Department also declared that Soleimani was:

“actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region.”

According to Breitbart News, Lt. Col. (Ret.) James Carafano, vice president of the Heritage Foundation’s Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy, said after the drone strike:

“The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), led by Suleimani, was responsible for the deaths of more than 600 Americans in Iraq between 2003-2011, and countless more injured.

“He was a chief architect behind Iran’s continuing reign of terror in the region.

“This strike against one of the world’s most odious terrorists is no different than the mission which took out Osama bin Laden – it is, in fact, even more justifiable since he was in a foreign country directing terrorist attacks against Americans.”

At this writing, there is no additional information about Nikoubin’s stabbing victim.

The New York Post states that “it was not immediately clear why the alleged suspect chose him.”

According to police, the victim was not transported to the hospital after the stabbing.

Is it about oil or is it about supporting terrorists? Biden allegedly uses Russia to broker Iran deal

Originally published March 12, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC – The House Minority Leader Republican Kevin McCarthy, has come out and publicly accused the Biden administration of using Russia to broker a deal with Iran that would ensure the United States receives oil from the terrorist country.

Congressman McCarthy spoke to Jesse Watters on his show, “Jesse Watters Primetime,” and alleged that Democrat Joe Biden and his administration have been using Russia to help broker a deal with Iran – not only for the failed nuclear deal, but also to coax the Iranian government into selling the United States oil.

He said:

“I just sent a letter to Secretary Blinken about the Iran agreement. What I believe they’re really trying to do – and why don’t we know what’s in it, but we have Russia and China knowing what’s in it – to bring Iranian oil back in. Why would you fund another country that funds terrorism, that wants to have a nuclear weapon, give it to them, and then give them billions of dollars?”

Watters then asked the Congressman a mostly rhetorical question:

“So, they’re for Russian oil, they’re for Iranian oil, they’re for Saudi oil, but not American oil?”

Congressman McCarthy replied:

“That’s right. And you know what you get when you get American oil? It’s cleaner, they’re American jobs, and the world is safer.”

Congressman McCarthy then went on to allude that China is eying Taiwan after Russia’s war with Ukraine has ended.

He said that President Biden and his administration should start focusing on arming the Asian country with defensive weapons so they can defend themselves if China were to invade. He said:

“[Biden should] speed up the weapons for Taiwan to defend themselves as well. But what is [Biden] talking about? He’s working with China and Russia to bring Iran back into the world economy, give them billions of dollars, and give them a nuclear weapon.”

Congressman McCarthy was not the only person who weighed in on the Biden Administration’s alleged use of Russia with Iran. Specifically, the reports that the Biden administration is using the Russians to broker the nuclear deal with Iran.

Republican senator Ted Cruz told a group of reporters that any deal with Iran would be a win for the Russian President. He said:

“This Iran Deal, if and when it is announced will be a massive win for Vladimir Putin. Because the Biden administration has been eager to tell Putin and tell the Ayatollah of course we will have a carveout for the Iran deal on Russia sanctions which means Putin will make billions in oil and gas transactions, in nuclear transactions, and in weapons transactions.”

Another Republican Senator, Jim Risch, added that this is not the time to try to work on any type of negotiation with Iran. He said:

“This is not right, we should walk. This doesn’t need to be done right now and particularly it doesn’t need to be done when we have the problems going on that we have in Ukraine. We should walk…

“Mr. President, you’re the only American doing business with the Russians, stop doing business with the Russians. Don’t have them negotiating for us, walk on this deal.”

Republican Senator Joni Ernst also believes that utilizing Russians for anything, especially now, is “insane.” She said:

“Russia, this is the country with tanks running over Ukraine right now killing innocent civilians. Children, women, people that we care about, and yet they’re using those Russians to negotiate a deal with yet another one of our near-peer adversaries, Iran.”
