While you’re paying $5 a gallon for gas, New York City is spending over $200k for drag shows at city schools

NEW YORK CITY- Fear not, America. While you’re paying $5 a gallon for gasoline, can’t find baby formula in most states, and are paying $24 for an order of chicken wings, sleep soundly knowing the city of New York feels your pain.

In yet another case of the government apparatus pissing away taxpayer dollars on dumb stuff, such as conducting torturous experiments on poodles, giving smartphones to illegal aliens, abandoning $80 billion in sophisticated military equipment in Afghanistan, and indoctrinating school children to hate America, there is the Big Apple.

According to the New York Post, the city that never sleeps has dropped over $207,000 in taxpayer money funding “Drag Story Hour NYC” since 2018 in a continuing effort to trans the kids. Oh to be sure it wasn’t only New York City taxpayer dollars that fund this garbage, but statewide tax dollars.

For example, last month alone, New York paid the group $46,000 from city contracts for appearances at schools (of course), street festivals and libraries, according to city records.

The group has put on 49 drag programs in 34 public elementary, middle, and high schools, it bragged on its website, with appearances occurring in all five city boroughs.

“I can’t believe this. I am shocked,” said one mother of a public school student, Helen Qui, who is also a state Assembly candidate.

Qui’s 11-year-old son attends a Manhattan middle school.

“I would be furious if he was exposed without my consent. This is not part of the curriculum,” she continued.

According to Louder With Crowder, the funds came from a number of taxpayer-funded entities, including New York’s Council on Arts, the Departments of Education, Transportation, Cultural Affairs, and Youth and Community Development.

Anyone who claims these programs are “innocent” haven’t been paying attention. They are clearly designed to normalize what only a few years ago was considered bizarre, if not outrageous conduct. Now the radical left is attempting to mainstream it, and their target is young children. Remember when it was all about gay marriage? Yeah, good times.

So one must wonder what the intent of all of this is. Only one of two answers make sense…they are either trying to brainwash young children to believe dressing in drag is normal, or they are trying to trans the kids. Period.

For example, as the Post wrote, a recent drag event held at a Manhattan school “encourage[d] kids to choose their pronouns and invent drag names.” That would appear to be a dead giveaway.

“I am considering pulling funding to any school in my district that is implementing Drag Queen Story Hour,” said City Council member Vickie Paladino, a Queens Republican. “We are taking hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the pockets of hardworking New York taxpayers…to fund a program teaching little children about their gender fluidity? Not. On. My. Watch.”

In the city, most of the funds allocated came out of discretionary budgets, with $80,000 set aside for the group this fiscal year, more than triple the $25,000 earmarked in 2020.

The liberal pathogen that has spawned these drag queen story hours have been a prominent feature at public library branches throughout New York City since 2017. Upcoming events are scheduled for Manhattan’s Epiphany Library and the Woodside Public Library in Queens, along with a number of others.

While liberals claim the shows are “harmless” and are “fun” for children, the dark underbelly of these shows is much different, and proves what the shows are intended to do…normalize transgenderism and confuse kids.

Performers read aloud from a list of books that teach “acceptance” and “inclusion,” with titles such as “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “The Rainbow Fish,” while others openly advocate so-called “gender fluidity,” such as “The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish.”

Since the inmates started running the swamp in Washington, DC, however, things have gotten much darker, according to social media posts.

In April, a drag queen named Harmonica Sunbeam “wore a slinky gown to meet with kindergarteners at STAR Academy in Manhattan and color pages from ‘The Dragtivity Book,’ which encourages kids to choose their pronouns and invent drag names,” the Post wrote.

In May, a group of 2nd graders from Manhattan’s PS34 were accompanies on a field trip by “Bella Noche,” who “wore a scenty mermaid-like bra getup” while “Flame” taught middle schoolers across all genders how to apply drag eye makeup at MS88 in Park Slope. Yeah, this is “normal.”

After the Post called Drag Story Hour NYC for comment, the posts mysteriously disappeared from the Internet in under an hour.

The Post reports that one since-deleted photo showed a performer known as Professor Lionel Longlegs, who wore a t-shirt with the message “I Don’t Want to Look or Be Cis” before a group of elementary school kids in the library of PS 191 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Some parents, who probably should be locked up for risk of injury, have no problem at all with their children being exposed to such perversion and debauchery.

“I’m glad to see all types of people included in what students are exposed to and learn in class,” said a woman named Kristen Williams, 40, who has an eleven-year-old daughter.

Some parents, however, are concerned about exposing their children to such garbage. One, Storm Neverson, who has two daughters aged nine and six had reservations about the program…kind of.

“If they were in junior high school or middle school, I would be okay with that because I fell like they would have a little more understanding,” Neverson said. “At this time, the kids were just a little too young.”

While STAR Academy told parents of the program ahead of time, parents were not allowed to opt their children out of it.

“It was mostly just like a heads up, you know, like, ‘Hey, this event is coming up. We’re gonna have these people come in.’ And that was that,” she said.

Some parents however say they were never notified, such as Reese Harrington, a parent at PS 191.

“I didn’t get any notice,” Harrington said. “My daughter actually came home and told me that a drag queen came to the school…I feel like it would have been better for that conversation to happen at home.”

Last week, Law Enforcement Today reported on a drag queen show for children hosted at a Dallas gay bar, which was widely slammed. To nobody’s surprise, the Elon Musk-less Twitter suspended the Libs of Tik Tok Twitter account for shining a light on the twisted drag queen ideology.

The Department of Education didn’t respond directly to questions about parental notification, nor would they confirm if drag performers must pass background checks. They did however defend the program as “life saving.”

“Last year, 50 transgender or gender non-conforming people were killed in the United States [out of 334,805,000 people, or 15-one-millionth of the population] due to their gender identity,” spokeswoman Suzan Sumer said. “We believe our schools play a critical role in helping young people learn about and respect people who may be different from them.”

Also in transitioning kids.

DALLAS, TX- A “child-friendly” drag show? At a gay bar in Texas? Say it ain’t so, sleepy Joe.

The Post Millennial reports that a Dallas gay bar called Mr. Misster” hosted what they called a “child friendly” drag show this past Saturday. Among signs posted at this “child friendly” event included ones reading “It’s not gonna lick itself” and “I licked it so it’s mine.” How very “child friendly” that is.

Journalist Tayler Hansen posted pictures of the above signs which he tweeted, and he also posted videos of the sick performance. One such video showed a drag queen inviting children to share the stage with one of the performers.

“If you think you can do it like we do, I want you to come up real quick,” said the drag queen, who then asked the children if they “want to be a diva” while also inviting them to pick a drag queen to partner with. The question is, where the hell were the parents?

On the gay bar’s social media page, the event was defined as “A family-friendly spinoff of our famed Champagne Drag Brunch,” and entitled, “Drag Kids to Pride.”

Once again, crap like this is why some cannot take the alphabet community seriously, and plays right into the narrative of people who believe our children are being indoctrinated. “Groomed,” if you will.

Alex Stein, a conservative comedian, attempted several times to get into the event, however, was denied entry.

“I thought you guys were inclusive,” Stein said, mocking the person at the door.

“You guys are bigots! You won’t let me in here, but you’re gonna let children,” he said, then was removed from the premises.

Meanwhile WFAA in Dallas reported that a number of protesters showed up outside the venue, angry at the bar targeting children.

One such protester, who only gave her name as Dasy, said she saw a poster for the event near where she lives. She showed up after the event with a poster that said, “Stop grooming the kids.”

“I live in this community,” Dasy said. “I have for several years. I don’t believe that I should be seeing signs advertising for children to be dancing on stage with men in thongs and in inappropriate clothing and makeup. I do not in any way condone the behavior that these people are engaging in, but what drags me out her is its kids now.”

After the event, the gay bar issued the following statement:

“We host our Champagne Drag Brunch every Saturday at 2pm for guests that are 21+ but we have partnered with some of our major community partners to host a special Pride Drag Brunch for all guests, including guests that couldn’t normally attend our regular show because of the drinking age restriction, to raise money for a local LGBTQ+ youth organization.

We are more than happy to open our doors to celebrate Pride in a family friendly, safe environment, separate from our normal operations of 2p.m.- 2 a.m. on Saturdays because we believe that everyone should have a space to be able to celebrate who they are.

Mr. Misster is a place where everyone is welcome to feel accepted, safe, and included. We had a group of protestors outside yelling homophobic threats, transphobic remarks, and vile accusations at these children and parents.

It is so sad to see that in 2022, there are still people that want to protests [sic] others celebrating who they are, but our staff and wonderful officers helped keep us safe and kept the protestors at bay.”

WFAA said a man named AJ Crews has been working at the bar for about two years, who said such an event allows people to express themselves.

“There were a lot less people drinking today so that would make it more kid friendly just because there were so many people here,” Crews said. “Everyone just came from all walks of life, and you know, just enjoyed pride.”

Protect Texas Kids was one group outside protesting. They provided the following statement:

We decided to organize this protest when we saw advertising for the event a few weeks ago—we researched the bar and quickly found out that it’s a gay bar, and we were also pretty concerned when we saw the signage on the bar’s website that says “it’s not gonna lick itself.” We just launched our organization and this was our first event.

“The mission was to raise awareness that an event like this, a drag show for children, was happening right in Dallas. We also hoped that if we raised awareness, the event might be canceled or modified so that children couldn’t be present.

“We were very happy with how the event went overall. The police were able to come in and remove all of the children and their families from inside of the bar. There were a lot of people in attendance who didn’t have kids, so those people were able to stay and the event continued.”

Dallas police, however denied they removed anyone from the event. A department spokesperson said Dallas PD officer showed up to “assist with crowd control” and to help the crowd “disperse in a safe manner.”

A spokesman for the bar said the bar had received several hundred threatening emails, Google reviews, and phone calls from protestors.
