Sheriff’s Deputies in Watertown, New York will wear black bands on their badges this weekend as they mourn the death of Bullet, an eight-veteran of the department serving with his human partner Deputy Trudeau.  Bullet died with his family around him at the Trudeau home.   Jefferson County Sheriff John Burns reports that Bullet’s hardnosed instincts were instrumental in a number of significant narcotics busts.  Burns also lauded Bullet’s expertise at human tracking. Burns noted that the department’s friend and co-worker will be greatly missed.  Rest in peace, Bullet.
