Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that you watch over your word to perform it. Father, I praise you that our officers dwell in the secret place of the most high and that they shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the almighty—whose power no foe can withstand. They will say of you, lord, “the lord you are their refuge and their fortress, their god; on him they lean and rely, and in him our officers confidently trust!” for then you will deliver our officers from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Then you will cover them with your feathers, and under your wings shall they trust and find refuge. Your truth and your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler surrounding them. Father, you are their confidence, firm and strong. You keep their feet from stumbling, being caught in a trap, or hidden danger. Father, you give our officers safety and ease. Our officers know you will keep them in perfect peace because their minds are stayed on you and they trust in you. I thank you, lord, that our officers may lie down and you will give them peaceful sleep, for you sustain them and make them dwell in safety. Our officers shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. a thousand may fall at their sides, and ten thousand at their right hands, but it shall not come near them or touch them. Only a spectator shall they be—inaccessible in the secret place of the most high—as they witness the reward of the wicked. Father, I declare and decree this as done. In the name and blood of Jesus.
