ABILENE, Texas — A man was tased Tuesday evening at the Mall of Abilene after resisting arrest and running from police, reported KTXS.

In the video, you can hear the suspect say he did not have a warrant, indicating police told him they were arresting him on a warrant.

“I ain’t got no f***ing warrant,” the suspect shouted.

Resistance followed his denial with the two officers when they tried to handcuff him.

As a result, one of the officers was knocked down during the struggle.

Consequently, the resisting man then ran from police.

“Tase him. Tase him,” said the partner on the ground.

The other officer gave chase and ended the short foot pursuit by tasing the suspect in the back.

“Don’t move or you’ll get tased again,” one of the officers says.

WARNING: Foul language used in the video.

“Damn, … holy shit,” says a witness in the background. “Can’t even go to your local mall anymore.”

The witness who shot the video told KTXS the suspect resisted arrest for at least 20 seconds before he began to film the action that is scene on camera.

KTXS reached out to Abilene police for more information about the suspect, including why he was wanted. At the time of report the details were unavailable.
