Even Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is not immune to the influence of dangerous crime. Police have discovered the body of a female murder victim on Her Majesty’s 20, 000 acre Sandringham Estate. Sandringham is the traditional location of the royal family’s Christmas celebration dating back to King Edward VII, the Queen’s great-grandfather. The body, which had been there for quite some time, was found near the royal family’s chapel on the estate, shortly after the group had attended Sunday services on New Year’s Day. British law enforcement officials are combing cold case files and missing person’s reports to assist in determining the victim’s identity. Police state natural death in this case is “highly unlikely.”
The media was alerted to situation following a prolonged police presence at Sandringham.
