ECUADOR- Hey, they’re the ones making up the rules, and an Ecuador father has decided to take advantage. Rene Salinas Ramos, 47, decided that in order to get custody of his two young daughters, he would need to take drastic action. So with that in mind, Ramos decided to legally change his gender identification to female, the New York Post reported.
So, does Ramos now go around wearing skirts, have breast prosthetics and use the ladies’ room in restaurants? Not quite. In fact in his everyday life, Ramos acts not unlike every regular male or to use the woke vernacular, “cisgender.”
Ramos said he was forced to make such a drastic decision because in Ecuador, the justice system overwhelmingly favors mothers in custody cases.
“Being a father in this country, Ecuador, is punished and I’m only seen as a provider,” Ramos told a local outlet in the country, La Voz del Tomebamba. “What I have been looking for is to give the love and protection that a mother can give her children.”

What led Ramos to take such drastic action? He says that his daughters currently live in an abusive environment with their mother, while claiming he has been blocked from seeing his daughters in over five months.
“The laws say that the one who has the right is the woman. As of this moment, I am female. Now I’m also a mom, that’s how I consider myself,” Ramos said to an assembled group of media outside the city of Cuenca’s Civil Registry office last month.
“I am very sure of my sexuality. What I have sought is that I want to be a mother, so that I can also give the love and protection of a mother.”
Ramos’ decision to claim he’s a female however has gotten the attention of trans activists across the country. For example the Ecuadorian Federation of LGBTI Organizations released a statement earlier this month denouncing Ramos’ “outlandish” actions.
“This man’s private matter, to obtain custody of his daughters, isn’t the spirit of the law,” said one activist, Diane Rodriguez, national director of the Ecuadorian Federation of LGBTI Organizations, said to VICE World News.
Rodriguez also channeled her best liberal US Democrat inner self, telling VICE she believed she first thought this was “fake news”—however now says she is “afraid that in the Assembly things will go backwards and they will start legislating against us.”
The custody battle between Ramos and his ex-wife continues, however.
“Until this matter is resolved, [the children] have to stay with their mother,” Ramos said, as reported in the Jam Press. “the law is taking away our right to be parents. [Changing my official documents] is a proof of love.”
This appears to be the first case of a man claiming to be a female in an attempt to take advantage of the change-of-gender laws in order to take advantage of laws which discriminate against fathers.
Meanwhile in the United States, laws regarding people changing their gender identities varies on a state-by-state basis.
According to Bankrate, transgender individuals are permitted to legally change their gender on their driver’s licenses in all 50 states—however the process can be challenging. Some states require a birth certificate amendment and proof of gender-affirming surgery.
In September 2022, Montana became the most recent state to allow gender-confused individuals to change the gender on their birth certificates following a protracted legal battle.
The obsession with the radical left to trans children has resulted in a number of high-profile cases recently inside the United States.
In California for example, a man named Ted Hudacko was caught completely off guard when his then-wife walked into his home office and told him that she was leaving him, and oh by the way, their son Drew was transgender, the New York Post reported.
This led to Hudacko investigating medical transition and gender dysphoria. Simply put, he didn’t believe his son was in fact female, but tried to keep an open mind. One thing he was adamant about however was that he did not want his son to begin medical transition.
After a leftist judge got involved in their divorce proceedings, asking clearly partisan, slanted questions, Judge Joni Hiramoto granted sole legal custody to his wife on a temporary basis, and approved shared legal and physical custody of the boy.
Within just a few months however, Hiramoto completely stripped Hudacko of his parental rights. He also lost his ability to intervene to stop a medical transition planned for his son.
One little issue for Hiramoto—she never disclosed that she herself is a mother to a transgender child, whose transition she publicly supported on social media. Most experts believe she should have recused herself from the case, however she did not.
The Post tells us that radical trans activists provide so-called “training” to family court judges in a number of states which push the “benefits” of gender altering drugs such as hormone blockers. These “trainings” are usually one-sided and only talk about the so-called “benefits” of gender affirming medicine for kids, however, never discuss the negative side of the issue.
A more recent high-profile case involved a Texas father, whose estranged wife moved to California with the couple’s 9-year-old son James, who is called “Luna” by the mother.
Jeff Younger appeared earlier this week with Tucker Carlson on Fox News and said he believes his wife is planning to “chemically castrate” James.

According to James, his mother, a “pediatrician” named Anne George Gergulas told him he was a girl and she also puts him in dresses.
“My blood ran cold when I realized what she had planned for that boy,” Younger told Carlson.
In a recording, James was asked if he is a boy, to which he replied, “No, I’m a girl.”
Younger said his ex-wife moved to the liberal mecca of California just prior to the state’s “trans refuge” law took effect on New Year’s Day.
Younger said his ex-wife began “transitioning” James when he was only two years old, and tried to enroll in in a Dallas gender clinic at age five.
“Pediatrician records show that she intended to chemically castrate him at age 8 or 9, his current age,” Younger alleged. “And then he magically moves to California? I don’t think this is an accident.”
