Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) says her own party, big tech undermining the foundation America was built on

WASHINGTON, DC- We have to admit. We’ve always liked former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D). While she does have some kind of wacky left-leaning ideas, she is by far one of the few Democrats who actually possess a modicum of common sense.

In fact, we knew that Tulsi was different from most Democrats when she became the target of scorn by one Hillary Rodham Clinton. Plus, her epic takedown of Kamala Harris during the Democratic presidential debates was the stuff of legends. Now, Gabbard is openly calling out the Democratic party.

Gabbard has become a frequent guest on Fox News programs such as Tucker Carlson Tonight and Hannity. Gabbard has been warning Americans about the degree to which the Democratic party has been veering far left and is warning the American people about the censorship and surveillance state that has been on the rise.

In an appearance on Carlson’s show on Fox News, Gabbard, a military veteran, said she had taken an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and feels she is duty-bound to stand up and speak out against the Democrats, according to The Spectator.

“The very first thing that any President does after they’ve gotten elected, any member of Congress and everyone one of us who has served in the military is we take an oath, and we swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” she said.

“The reason that this is the first thing that we do is because our Constitution is the foundation of this country and who we are,” Gabbard continued.

“It is what guarantees us our civil liberties, our freedoms that are endowed to us, not by any man or person in government, but are endowed to us by our Creator, and so this is something that we must all unite around.”

Gabbard noted that she considered those who breached the Capitol on January 6 as domestic terrorists, acting in the capacity of attempting to prevent Congress from fulfilling their responsibilities under the United States Constitution, attempting to undermine that document.

Gabbard said that, “those like John Brennan, Adam Schiff, and others are also acting as domestic terrorists,” saying that they also were undermining the Constitution by “trying to take away our civil liberties and rights that are guaranteed to us.”

Brennan of course is the former CIA Director under the Obama Administration, who is widely believed to have had a hand in the bogus Russia collusion hoax that occupied Congress and the Trump White House for nearly three years.

Schiff of course is the California congressman who parroted the collusion hoax even after evidence came forth that the whole scheme was concocted by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

In explaining how Democrats are trying to undermine our God-given rights, Gabbard explained:

“If you don’t mind, I’d like to just quote John Brennan directly so that people can’t say I’m taking this out of context, directly, John Brennan says:

‘Members of the Biden team who have been nominated or appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements they’ve seen overseas where they germinate in different parts of the country and gain strength and bring together an unholy alliance, frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascist bigots, racist, nativist and even libertarians,’” Gabbard said, repeating what Brennan had stated.

“This is the extent that they are going to try to undermine the rights and freedoms that are guaranteed to every one of us, and it is incredibly dangerous,” Gabbard added.

Carlson, who has been one of the few mainstream journalists warning about the run on our constitutional rights reminded Gabbard that it wasn’t only government officials trying to suppress our rights.

He noted that major corporations are also trying to silence and suppress Americans, and asked Gabbard how we can fight back against that repression.

She told Americans they needed to continue speaking out and taking a stand against tyranny, and to unite around our Constitution, which she said was the most important and primary goal.

She also addressed freedom of speech and said that it is obvious big tech is attempting to silence people on their platforms and stressed that free speech should be practiced everywhere.

Gabbard urged Americans to stay involved, and to contact elected representatives, including Biden and urge them to stand against and denounce the actions of people such as Schiff and Brennan.

Carlson reminded viewers that Democrats hated Gabbard during the 2020 primary election season simply due to the fact that she was standing up for the rights of the American people, which the left resented.

Earlier in the week, Gabbard took to Twitter to blast big tech oligarchs, comparing the global corporations with the KGB, saying they are trying to tur our country into a “police state with KGB-style surveillance,” Fox News’ Sean Hannity’s website reported.

“The mob who stormed the Capitol to try to stop Congress from carrying out its constitutional responsibilities were behaving like domestic enemies of our country.

“But let us be clear, the John Brennan’s, Adam Schiff’s and the oligarchs in Big Tech who are trying to undermine our constitutionally-protected rights and turn our country into a police state with KGB-style ‘surveillance’ are also domestic enemies—and much more powerful, and therefore dangerous, than the mob which stormed the capitol,” Gabbard said on Twitter.

Gabbard continued:

“President Biden, I call upon you & all of Congress from both parties to denounce efforts by Brennan & others to take away our civil liberties endowed to us by our Creator & guaranteed in our Constitution. If you don’t stand up to them now then our country will be in great peril.”

Gabbard has been an outspoken opponent of proposed legislation supported by both Brennan and Schiff to use surveillance against domestic terrorists much as that used against foreign terrorists.

Gabbard says the proposed legislation is too broad and would in effect allow government agencies to target nearly half of the U.S. population.
