Trump fires up ‘Save America’ rally: “Biden has utterly humiliated our nation… The country is being destroyed.”

FLORENCE, AZ –Trump held his first rally of 2022 on Sunday, spending most of his 93 minutes on stage labeling President Joe Biden a “disaster for the country, criticizing Arizona Gov. Dough Ducey (R), and blasting the mainstream media.

As the former President took the stage for the “Save America” rally at 7:17 p.m. to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA,” trump set the tone for his upcoming speech:

“(It was a) rigged election… The Big Lie is a lot of bullshit… I ran twice and I won twice.”

More than 15,000 supporters gathered to hear the former President speak during what was billed as the first MAGA rally of the campaign season. Early in his remarks, Trump rehashed his stance that the 2020 presidential election was stolen:

“I love Arizona. We had a tremendous victory in Arizona that was taken away. … We had a rigged election. … (The media) refuse to talk about it. The Big Lie is a lot of bull—-. That’s what it is.

“Biden has utterly humiliated our nation,” Trump said, saying that Russia and China’s leaders no longer respect or fear America.”

The speech was scheduled to build support for Republican candidates running for office in Arizona, but also served to keep Trump in the hearts and minds of his supporters as he potentially plans another run for president in 2024.

GOP gubernatorial candidates like Matt Salmon and Kari Lake attended the evening event, which was the first rally of the year for Trump and the first time he has spoken at a rally since October.

Even a year after he left the White House, he is expected to hold a massive influence in the midterm elections this fall.

Trump fires up 'Save America' rally: "Biden has utterly humiliated our nation… The country is being destroyed." Trump called President Biden a “disaster” for the country, and claimed foreign rivals of the U.S. had no respect for his administration:

“Biden has utterly humiliated our nation… The country is being destroyed.

“Our country is being totally destroyed.”

Trump pointed to the struggling COVID-19 response by the President and the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in August as evidence that President Biden’s term has been detrimental to the United States.

Trump repeated his criticism of former ally Gov. Doug Ducey, a fellow Republican who is considering a run for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Democrat Mark Kelly:

“He’s not going to get my endorsement. Ducey has been a terrible, terrible representative of your state.”

The rally seemed a cookie-cutter version of his MAGA speeches during the 2020 campaign, and he hit many of the same issues. But he did take a few minutes to address the January 6, 2020,  insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, which Democrats have tried to blame him for inciting.

Trump called the prosecution of the defendants charged in the insurrection as ““appalling persecution of political prisoners.” He said that there were many FBI agents mixed into the crowd that invaded the Capitol, and asked why the government was investigating and prosecuting the thousands of Black Lives Matter and other “social justice” protests during 2020:

“Why aren’t they doing it to Antifa and Black Lives Matter?”

Near the end of his speech, Trump left a tease about his potential run for president in 2024:

“A great red wave is going to begin right here in Arizona, and it’s going to sweep across this country.”

As he ended his speech, the speakers sounded Sam and Dave’s 1966 hit “Hold On, I’m Comin’.”

Desperate Democrats trying everything to prevent Trump 2024 run now attempting to manipulate Constitution

January 10, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC-

Trump Delusion Syndrome

NOUN

  1. the inability of leftists to get over the fact that former President Donald Trump lives in their head 24/7/365

With Democrats poised to get their elected asses handed to them in the November mid-terms, and with Joe Biden’s approval ratings lower than al Qaeda’s and 2024 looming not too far down the road, Democrats are obsessed with making sure one man doesn’t take advantage of their lack of popularity—Donald Trump.

The Blaze reports that a group of around a dozen Democrats are investigating whether they can use some type of legal mechanism within the United States Constitution to prevent that from happening.

If the Democrats do indeed use the Constitution, it would be the first time they’ve actually referred to our founding document in eons.

According to The Hill, far-left Harvard Law School professor Laurence Tribe told the outlet that some congressional Democrats and their staffs have reached out to him to see if the Constitution provides a way to prevent Trump from running for the 2024 presidential nod.

Those lawmakers include senior House Democrats, including Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and the terrorist-loving Jerry Nadler (D-NY).

In case you’re not familiar, it was Nadler who convinced former President Clinton to pardon two terrorists who actually engaged in real sedition at the US Capitol, having been responsible for bombing it in the latter part of the 70s and early 80s.

The leftist Democrats are focused on the 14th Amendment, Sec. 3 in order to stifle Trump and others who they claim participated in the events of January 6, 2021.

Under that provision, it says:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Democrats, desperate to remove the former president from the equation first spoke of the idea last January prior to his second failed impeachment trial.

The idea of using the 14th Amendment, however, is not a slam dunk by any means, and an issue over which constitutional scholars disagree, The Blaze said.

Some told The Hill that the provisions under the amendment are not “self-executing,” meaning it would require Congress to act to implement it.

Tribe suggested that Congress would need to establish a neutral fact-finding body to determine whether the former president “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” as defined in the amendment, or assign a federal court to determine if Trump had crossed that line. [emphasis added]

A neutral fact finding body would not be along the lines of the partisan kangaroo court that Pelosi has commissioned to “investigate” the “Great ‘Insurrection’ of January 6,” a clearly partisan exercise in the best traditions of the Spanish Inquisition.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley wrote last year when Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) proposed almost exactly what the House Democrats are floating, that Senate Democrats were “playing a dangerous game.”

In fact, Kaine suggested not only banning Trump from ever holding elective office again, but other Republicans who spoke out against certifying the election of Joe Biden, which Democrats themselves had done against Trump only four years earlier.

If nothing else, Democrats are either hypocrites or have very short memories.

Turley addressed the Constitution’s ban on bills of attainder, which prohibits individuals from being targeted for punishment by Congress, which basically serves to circumvent the courts and therefore the legal protections such as due process.

As Turley said, such a move would set “a dangerous precedent of barring opponents from office.”

The 14th Amendment was written as one of the so-called “Reconstruction Amendments” which was ratified in 1868 as America tried to mend its fractured fences after the Civil War.

The Washington Post noted that Section 3 was intended “to exclude former Confederates from holding federal and state office.”

Last February, Sen. Steve Cohen (D-TN) introduced a bill which would allow the U.S. attorney general to argue in front of a three-judge panel that an officeholder or former officeholder “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” to therefore disqualify them from holding public office.

Thus far, Cohen’s bill hasn’t gone anywhere.

Have you ever seen a more vindictive group of whining snowflakes than the current members of the Democratic Party?

They are so afraid of Donald Trump due to the overwhelming ineptitude shown by their party that they are trying to pull things out of their rectum to use against Trump and the Republicans. It’s pathetic.
