WASHINGTON, DC- You’ve gotta love it when a still wet behind the ears millennial child comes up with “brilliant suggestions” such as the one we are about to address.
Especially when said millennial child is a freshman playing in the Congressional sandbox. Such is the case of the latest ignorant 30-something to get elected to Congress, Rep. Sara Jacobs of California. Of course, she’s a Democrat.
Here brilliant idea? Breitbart News reports that in an interview last weekend with Humpty Dumpty Brian Stelter on CNN’s hilariously named Reliable Sources, Jacobs, channeling her best Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said there needed to be a “truth commission.”
This so-called “truth commission,” she said would engage in talking about “our history” in order to reach a “common narrative moving forward of what we want our country to be,” as well as a “reckoning with the racial injustice and white supremacy of our past.”
Clueless doesn’t even begin to define this woman. A “truth commission?” Just who’s “truth” she is talking about is anybody’s guess, but we’re pretty certain it has nothing to do with reality.
First of all, there’s Stelter.
How this overbearing dufus got himself a show on a “major” news network is anybody’s guess. He’s got more bluster than a winter snowstorm on the east coast. If you haven’t seen Stelter’s show, we can save you the time.
He’s pretty much a liberal blowhard obsessed with Fox News and former President Trump.
Anyway, when introducing Jacobs to his rather small “audience,” he brought her on as “a congresswoman who went to study extremism abroad and then came home and found it here in the United States.”
Hmmm…sounds like she found it at a Black Lives Matter or Antifa riot. Quite a bit of extremism going on there, right?
Jacobs was very upset that former President Donald Trump had been acquitted in his unconstitutional “impeachment,” presided over not by Chief Justice John Roberts, but by a partisan Democrat senator, Pat Leahy from Vermont.
In other words, it was a kangaroo court, yet another sad episode in a five year long obsession Democrats have with Donald Trump.
Jacobs whined, “there’s something very broken in our democracy” (it’s a Republic, by the way), saying that “far right media” and the social media “ecosystem” were to blame for the incident at the US Capitol on January 6.
“I think we need to look at far right media, which I know, Brian, you have been such a leader on calling out,” Jacobs said.
Yes, Stelter has been “calling out” so-called “right wing media” while giving “left-wing media” a pass on the violence that occurred all last summer throughout the country.
She continued, “And also the role of social media and the whole ecosystem of social media where the kinds of information and the kinds of posts that get the biggest reactions are the ones prioritized by their algorithms.”
Jacobs said, “leaders take existing fault lines in society, in our case white supremacy and racial injustice, and mobilize around them using the enabling environment of our media ecosystem and our lack of trust and decreasing trust in our institutions.”
In other words, she engaged in a bunch of meaningless psychobabble.
Stelter then pressed Jacobs on her earlier call for a so-called “truth commission.” She told Helter Stelter that there is a “reckoning” that had yet to take place.
“So I think part of what we’re seeing now is because we haven’t really done the reckoning with the white supremacy and racial injustice of our past that we need to do,” she said.
So let’s get this straight. Hundreds of thousands of Americans died in the Civil War in order to gain freedom for blacks who had been enslaved and brought to this country.
Under President Trump, black unemployment was the lowest in history.
In 2008, a black man, Barack Obama was elected to the most powerful position in the world, President of the United States. Yet, we haven’t had a “reckoning” with racial injustice and white supremacy? What planet is this child on?
In advocating for her so-called “truth commission,” she said:
“And so you know, a truth commission, a lot of people will think of South Africa. We’ve used them in countries around the world.”

Frankly, this is a bit scary folks. You have elected officials, in positions of power suggesting that some group of people should decide what is “truth” and what is “not.”
These are the same people, mind you who try to convince people that there are on the order of 52 genders. These are the same people who claim that the Earth has only 12 years of existence left.
They tell us that it’s ok for men to share the same bathroom with young girls. Finally, they’re the same people who tell us that Joe Biden got 80 million votes. Do these sound like people possessing any modicum of sanity that bears listening to?
So, what or who would this commission be comprised of?
Jacobs said, “…communities all the way up to the national level, having conversations about both the gory and the glory of our history and what happened, both throughout the history of our country and leading up to and on January 6, so that we can come to a common narrative moving forward of what we want our country to be.”
How about this? How about having our country be what it was 18 months ago? Before COVID, before George Floyd and before Democrats went totally off the rails? “What we want our country to be?”
One can pretty much guarantee that over 73 million people don’t want our country to be the same one that loony toons like Jacobs do. Hell, there are probably some people in that alleged 80 million that don’t want the country to be what Jacobs and her control freaks want it to be.
If Jacobs was looking for attention, much like a young child having a temper tantrum, she got it.
Beth Baumann, an associate editor for Townhall asked:
“And what makes the people who would sit on this commission worthy of deciding who is right and wrong?”
Congresswoman @SaraJacobsCA wants a “Truth Commission.” 🙄

Newsmax host Greg Kelly said, “What a weird and dark aspiration: ‘Truth Commission’—on Stelter’s increasingly creepy show.”
What a weird and dark aspiration: “Truth Commission”—on Stelter’s increasingly creepy show. This plus the Really outrageous personal attacks that he can’t substantiate in his last book. Comment of the day goes to Dan Gainor, vice president of the conservative Media Research Center: “An actual truth commission would jail CNN staff.”

Run of the mill Twitter users also chimed in, with one asking: “Seriously? Don’t you think the American voters should be deciding what’s true and NOT the government?”
Another wrote, “What she describes is Orwell’s Ministry of Truth,” referring to George Orwell’s dystopian classic “1984.”
Rep Sara Jacobs (D-CA 53rd(San Diego/El Cajon)) advocates for a “Truth Commission”. What she describes is Orwell’s Ministry of Truth. Hey SoCA San Diegans… is she representing you accurately? Is this your unconstitutional ideology, hers, or both? https://t.co/BnBueUymSe

This comment was a close second behind Dan Gainor’s:
Worthy people are only Democrats of long standing. People like Maxine Waters and Al Sharpton are prime examples. 🙄

Finally someone else wrote, “Just imagine a federal council to write our history and our future.”
Jacobs’ idea of course is nothing new. A number of other power-hungry Democrats have made similar proposals, among them the aforementioned darling of Queens Ocasio-Cortez, along with former Clinton administration member Robert B. Reich and a number of talking heads on Democrat state television CNN and MSNBC.
The New York Times earlier this month published an essay which offered a number of recommendations for the Biden administration in order to “fix the reality crisis” and “de-radicalize” citizens, suggestions which included a “reality czar” and “truth commission.”
The fact that Democrats and their sycophants in the mainstream media are even discussing such measures should serve as a warning to those who oppose their agenda. Clearly, they didn’t get the message sent by Biden on the day of his inauguration when he called for “unity.”
These people do not want unity. They want vengeance. The Times essay, written by technology columnist Kevin Roose accused “millions of Americans” (Trump voters) of embracing “hoaxes, lies and collective delusions” while outlining what Biden could to in order to “help fix our truth-challenged information ecosystem or at least prevent it from getting worse.”
One person Roose interviewed was Joan Donovan, a Harvard research director, who said Biden should set up such a “truth commission” led by people familiar with extremist factions, including white supremacist groups and far-right militias behind the January 6 Capitol incident.
Donovan made no such suggestion for finding out who was behind the summer-long riots that took place from New York to Seattle and every Democrat-run city in between.
These are your Democrats America. Power mad and anxious for vengeance. What’s the saying?
“Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts…absolutely.” Welcome to Biden’s America.
