Before everyone flips out that I need to publish this information anonymously, I’m going to ask you to read just ten seconds further.  Here’s the Illinois law regarding recusing yourself from investigations, and what needs to happen when you do:

(55 ILCS 5/3-9008)(from Ch. 34, par. 3-9008)

Sec. 3-9008. Appointment of attorney to perform duties.

(a-15) Notwithstanding subsections (a-5) and (a-10) of this Section, the State’s Attorney may file a petition to recuse himself or herself from a cause or proceeding for any other reason he or she deems appropriate and the court shall appoint a special prosecutor as provided in this Section.

Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx either didn’t pay attention in ethics class, or doesn’t know the very law she’s supposed to be upholding.

She was legally obligated to appoint a special prosecutor.  She didn’t.

I’m submitting this article to Law Enforcement Today because I am not authorized to talk about the investigation.  And frankly, protecting my job and my family are my priority in life.  But I believe a conversation needs to be had.  Because America just got bamboozled.  AGAIN.

You know what happened last weekend in Chicago?  Hundreds of parents of murder victims gathered to remind everyone that the murders of their kids, grandkids and siblings remain unsolved.  That huge resources were diverted away from these murder cases to investigate the Smollet case.  And put together a rock-solid case.  That was buried because of politics.

You know what it’s like to see those faces?  You know what it’s like to have to stop working on an investigation where justice can actually be brought to a family so you can work on an investigation where justice will never be served?

It feels dirty.  We have failed these families and we have failed America because of politicians.

$10,000.  That’s what Smollet ended up paying – he forfeited his bond as part of the burial of his case.  $10,000 which doesn’t begin to touch the countless man hours spent on the investigation.

This was a slap in the face of the entire police department… of every police officer in the department and frankly, the country.  A message that our work doesn’t matter if you’re of a certain class in America.

Let me also point out that the Chief Deputy who was assigned to “prosecute” this case had the nerve to compliment the officers who investigated this abomination.

And now we see the dirty hand of a top billionaire Democrat donor did his dirty work yet again.  Special thanks to Law Enforcement for actually having the balls to help expose this.

Scroll down to see the roles that George Soros and a former Obama aide played in this.

Here’s what it comes down to.  Fake crimes are happening across the country to make President Trump look bad.  And to make his supporters look bad.

I want to be clear on something.  I didn’t vote for Trump.  Frankly, I didn’t vote because I hate everything having to do with politics.  But this shit is out of control and needs to be called out.  Because it’s happening all over the country.

Last month, this media platform published several examples of these fake cases of racism.  Real racial crimes are bad enough.  But staged racial crimes are just as bad, because they divide our country further and take away from resources that should be utilized destroying actual racist crimes.

From that article:

In one of my investigations, there were “join the KKK” fliers passed around a condo community – about 100 of them.  They looked completely legit.  Except they were, well, childish.  Residents were up in arms.

It took a week to conclude the investigation. A 15-year-old minority was captured on two separate cameras distributing the fliers.  He admitted he had done it to “get peoples’ heads right about racism in America”.

Two more investigations – both post-Kavanaugh. Both “rape” allegations.  Both with significant social media noise surrounding them.  Both tied to the “me too” movement.

Both turned out to be false.  One woman was upset because the man had publicly humiliated her by dumping her in a restaurant.  The other openly admitted – after being caught in a flat out lie – that she thought men needed to start to suffer for what the “toxicity of men” has been doing to a generation of boys.

Two more cases.  One – an attack against a young black man.  His mother called us after he came home bloody and bruised. He told us a bunch of young white boys from a local Christian school attacked him and called him racial slurs.

Except it only took us two days, three witness statements and a closed circuit video from a corner store to determine he had his ass handed to him for stiffing the guys he had been buying drugs from.

A young gay man getting notes in his locker saying he’d be “skinned” and “hung” for liking boys.

A day later, he broke down in hysterics when we pressed him for details and he admitted that he just wanted attention and that he had written the notes himself.

False accusations.

It was done to Brett Kavanaugh, with Democrats alleging, and the media embracing, his female accusers’ outlandish stories of alleged sexual assault from decades ago without corroborating evidence.

Those allegations were later rebuked or debunked.

Let’s not forget the left’s recent ambush against the Covington High School boys.

The students were quick to be painted as “racists” simply because they’re white, straight and male who committed the ultimate sin — smiling while wearing MAGA hats — on a school trip to DC.

The teenagers were bullied and defamed across the mainstream media.  That was until evidence emerged proving they did nothing wrong.  Now suit is being filed against many of those who defamed the boys, including a lawsuit against the Washington Post for $250 million.

Now to Drake University, where a former student plead guilty last month to making false reports to police in connection with racist notes found in November on the campus.

19-year-old Kissie Ram pleaded guilty to a simple misdemeanor.  She faced up to a year in jail but was given a deferred judgement that placed her on a 12-month probation.

This after she filed a report that a racist note was found on Campus on November 28.  In total, five notes were found.  At least four of them were considered hoaxes and tied back to Ram. She admitted to writing one of them and reported receiving one of them as well.

In Glastonbury, Connecticut, a man was charged in January after police say he spray painted “KKK” on the wall of an apartment complex elevator and then called police to report the crime.

Alec Kasson, 29, was charged with third-degree intimidation due to bias, second-degree false reporting an incident and several other charges for the vandalism in The Soap Factory Apartments where he lived, police said.

When interviewed by officers, Kasson admitted to writing “KKK,” police said.

The vandalism came amid several complaints of swastikas being drawn around the same apartment complex in the weeks before Kasson’s alleged vandalism, police said.

Again, when our resources are dumped into investigating fake crimes that were “committed” simply to make President Trump and his supporters look bad, we have a HUGE problem.

George Soros Funded Kim Foxx’s campaign

Records now show that left-wing billionaire and mega donor George Soros was a huge funder of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.

It’s Foxx’s office who prosecuted – and suddenly dropped – all pending charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett and Chicago police are outraged.

A press conference was held at 1:30pm Tuesday, where statements from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, members of law enforcement, as well as the President of the Fraternal Order of Police condemned the states attorney’s actions.

Assistant State’s Attorney Joe Magats claimed the decision to drop the charges was done so because Smollett was not a ‘violent threat.’ Early on, Magats’ boss Kim Foxx had been exchanging text messages with members of Smollett’s family, and tried to take the case away from Chicago PD and put it in the hands of the FBI. Foxx had recused herself from the trial because of the relationship with Smollett family friend, Tina Tchen, who is also Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff.

‘We did not exonerate him,” said Magats. “We work to prioritize violent crime and the drivers of violent crime.”

“Public safety is our number one priority. I don’t see Jussie Smollett as a threat to public safety,” he said.

Smollett and his attorneys requested that the evidence from the case be sealed. The judge granted that motion.

Anti-Trump donor Soros has spent heavily to back “progressive” candidates for local prosecutorial offices across the country. The heavy funding started pouring in from him after the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2014, that claimed black defendants haven’t received fair treatment in our judicial system.

In 2016, Foxx ran against incumbent Anita Alvarez.  She faced intense public controversy over the 2014 killing of a black teenager by Chicago cop Jason Van Dyke.

Foxx, for her part, ran on a platform of criminal justice reform.

The irony of this is that she told a local ABC affiliate that her focus was on “restoring faith in our criminal justice system” and “bridging the divide between the community and law enforcement.”

In 2016, reported that Foxx received big donations from Soros:

But Kim Foxx has also found two other sources of cash, in the form of twin $300,000 donations to a Super PAC supporting her called Illinois Safety & Justice. The sole donors to the PAC are neoliberal superdonor and conservative-boogeyman George Soros and a “dark-money” group called Civic Participation Action Fund. A Super PAC is a fundraising group, created by the 2010 Supreme Court Citizens United decision, that can raise as much money as they want for any candidate or cause—as long as they don’t coordinate on any level with political campaigns, which have much smaller campaign limits.

A look at state campaign finance records are proof that Soros personally spent $333,000 on Foxx’s super PAC before the completion of the March 15, 2016 primary and then an additional $75,000 after she won.  She crushed Alvarez in the primary and then easily won the seat in the fall.

George Soros Spent $408k on Prosecutor in Jussie Smollett Case

On the Smollet case, statements from law enforcement personnel made it clear that this was no exoneration, simply a failure of proper justice.

“It’s a punch in the gut. Is absolutely a punch in the gut,” said CPD Commander Edward Wodnicki said. “We worked closely throughout our 3 week investigation to get to point where we arrested the offender. For states attorney at this point to dismiss charges without discussing this with us at all is just shocking.”

Wodnicki called the case against Smollett “rock solid.”

The President of the Chicago FOP said, “this should have gone to trial.”

Chicago FOP President Kevin Graham was visibly upset by the case’s outcome.

“I do not think that justice was served today,” he finished. He said that both active and retired members of the law enforcement community were ‘doubling down’ on their call for an investigation by the Justice Department as to how this could have happened.

Mayor Emanuel chastised the way the entire process was held, calling it a “whitewash of justice.”

“At the end of the day, it’s Mr. Smollett that committed this false claim upon two individuals and who also testified, but also on the city,” said Emanuel. “There needs to be a level of accountability throughout the system, and this sends an ambiguous message that there is no accountability and that is wrong,” he said.

“He used the laws of the hate crime association that all of us through the years have put on the books to stand up to be the values that embody what we believe in. This is a whitewash of justice.”

Smollett had previously been involved with what seemed to be an elaborate hate crime hoax staged against himself by allegedly hiring two Nigerian brothers to “attack” him on the streets of Chicago.

The dropping of the charges comes as a shock to the nation after the extreme amount of press coverage on the issue, with social media ablaze with flip-flopping accounts of what actually went down.

“We believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” a prosecutor said in announcing the dismissal of all 16 counts.

Smollett is black and openly gay, blaming his attackers for singling him because of those factors. During the alleged attack, Smollett was jumped by two men who beat him, poured liquid bleach over his head, and reportedly wrapped a noose around his neck around 2am just a few months ago. When police arrived at his apartment following the attack, Smollett still had the noose around his neck.

“This is MAGA country!” Smollett claimed his attackers yelled while they were beating him.

Smollett also allegedly had sent a threatening hate mail letter to himself prior to the attack, but it didn’t draw much media.

The two brothers who were taken into police custody following the attack told authorities that Smollett had paid them $3,500 for helping with the hoax, promising an additional $500 following the act.

A red hat was among the list of items seized from the Nigerian brothers allegedly involved in the attack.

A statement released by Smollett’s lawyer said the following.

“Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him,” the statement said. “Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify on January 29th. He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public causing an inappropriate rush to judgment.”

“Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions,” the statement continued. “This entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion. That is wrong. It is a reminder that a victim, in this case Jussie, deserves dignity and respect. Dismissal of charges against the victim in this case was the only just result.”

During the entirety of the investigation, Smollett denied any involvement in the attack, consistently maintaining that he played no part in creating a hoax.

“Jussie is relieved to have this situation behind him and is very much looking forward to getting back to focusing on his family, friends and career,” said Smollett’s lawyer.
