Soros-funded Boston DA under investigation for allegedly impersonating cop after road rage incident

BOSTON, MA- Sorry, but sometimes stories we come across just make us smile.

Such is the case when we heard about far-left Soros-funded Suffolk County, Massachusetts District Attorney Rachael Rollins’ little jackpot she finds herself in. Rollins, who is an anti-cop, pro-criminal stooge is apparently under investigation for impersonating a police officer after a road rage incident last month, the Boston Globe is reporting.

The Globe said that Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey launched an investigation into Rollins after the road rage incident between Rollins and a resident of Dorchester, Katie Lawson. According to WCVB in Boston, Rollins is a finalist for the position of U.S. Attorney in Massachusetts, a role which would have her oversee some 200 federal prosecutors.

According to media outlets which originally reported the incident, Rollins busted out the typical “do you know who I am?” screed against Lawson after the incident, which was subsequently reported to Boston Police. The confrontation occurred on Christmas Eve at the South Bay Shopping Center in the city.

Rollins and Lawson, who is also a state employee were in separate vehicles attempting to leave the parking lot. Lawson said that she tried to merge in front of Rollins’ vehicle, a black Chevy Tahoe as they were headed toward the parking lot exit, as reported by WFXT-25.

So Lawson apparently had the gall to try to merge in front of Rollins…doesn’t she know “who” Rollins is? She’s a self-important DA…she has places to go, people to see. So Rollins decided to roll down her window and engage Lawson, yelling, “You don’t want to try me today, lady, you really don’t,” according to the Globe.

“You don’t want to try me today, lady, you really don’t,”

“She pulled her car about three inches from my car and said, ‘Do you want me to write you a ticket? Because I’ll write you a ticket,” Lawson told WFXT in an interview.

“A ticket?” Really? Rollins isn’t a cop, but maybe she stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before.

Rollins then is alleged to have “put on the sirens, put on the strobe lights, for like, probably a couple of seconds,” Lawson recalled. She said Rollins then said, “this is not the day to try me!” Lawson said she told Rollins several times to “just go,” however Rollins refused, with Lawson telling the Globe the encounter was “disturbing.”

Lawson said, “I 1000% though that she was a police officer because the only person I know that can write you a ticket is an actual police officer. So she implied, in my opinion, she implied that she was a police officer. I thought she was a police officer. That’s why I called the police department.”

Lawson provided WFXT with a picture taken by her fiancée which showed the license plate displayed on the front car which Rollins was alleged to be driving.

WFXT sent an investigative producer and photographer to Rollins’ office to look for the vehicle, but it wasn’t there. Later that afternoon, they went to Rollins’ street where she lives where they encountered Rollins who was with a plain clothes Boston police officer, part of her security detail.

Rollins approached the crew and threatened to call the police. The interaction, which was captured on camera has Rollins say:

“I’ll call the police on you and make an allegation, and we’ll see how that works with you.”

Rollins and the officer told the crew to leave the property which was done.

She was asked about the encounter later that night by investigative reporter Ted Daniel in an on-the-record phone conversation. Rollins refused to address it, and then claimed she didn’t know who the news crew was and believed they were there to harm her.

In a tweet, Rollins claimed that a “masked white man jumped out of a truck parked in front of my home,” then claimed the man “opened his trunk and grabbed something, took it out and aimed it at me. I was terrified and turned away. My children were there.”

The funniest think were the replies to Rollins’ tweet, where people actually believed she was telling the truth. Ah to be so naive.

WFXT said the “masked man” was one of their photographers and that he grabbed a 25-pound news camera and was wearing a face mask in compliance with Gov. Charlie Baker’s mask mandate. In other words, Rollins was being a drama queen.

The outlet said their crew never approached Rollins’ door, nor did they plan to, and further did not see any children anywhere near her. They also did not record video of her home.

So of course, Rollins decided to make the encounter public, having tweeted about it four times in a little over a day. WFXT said they wanted to give Rollins the opportunity to address the situation on camera before they took it to the air, however she was uncooperative and finally declined the interview.

Now, are you ready for the spin? Because it’s a doozy. Of course, Rollins’ handlers whipped out the “Capitol insurrection” card. Following is their statement:

“District Attorney Rollins ran for office, was elected and has led with unprecedented transparency and access. She has been and remains available to her constituents, colleagues and members of the media and has never avoided a difficult conversation. Indeed, she had an on the record telephone conversation with you Friday night. She will continue to lead in this manner, fully understanding and expecting the scrutiny that comes with being an elected public official.”

Now, here comes the money shot:

“But this past Friday was something different. Some 48 hours after our country witnessed an attack on those very same elected officials, an unknown vehicle with an unknown man approached her in front of her home where she is the mother and guardian to three young girls.” [emphasis added] Don’t you see? She was afraid she was going to be attacked by those “psychotic right-wing Trump voters.”

It continues, “And she responded not as an elected official, but as a mother, an aunt and a caregiver who believes her primary responsibility is to love and protect her family.

District Attorney Rollins has long been an advocate for the protection of the privacy and safety of the families of government officials. She deserves the same.”

Rollins of course had a different version of the encounter with Lawson, admitting the encounter but her spokesperson said:

“The DA has a very different version of what transpired at South Bay. It’s disappointing, but not surprising that the DA must face such falsehoods.”

Ah, the old “it isn’t my fault, I was setup” excuse.

Rollins actually went on with Howie Carr and admitted the confrontation, however she told Carr:

“I think I hit a siren…and her head snaps up and I say, ‘Stop you are in the wrong row of traffic.’ I then go back to my life that is the extend of that encounter Absolutely no truth to me putting blue lights on and flying around South Bay.”

Rollins behavior, however, as documented by WFXT tells another story. When WFXT showed up at her home, Rollins went into an unhinged, expletive filled rant. The video completely contradicted the version of events that she had tweeted.

So how did Rollins react when the reporters showed up at her house? She pulled the race card, of course.

“As a black woman, , in this moment, in this country, you’re gonna put my fucking house on the screen? Get away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this, you are on the record for that, or my kids are fucking killed?

A couple of more problems. Rollins actually threatened to make up a lie, threatening to call the police on the WFXT crew and “make an allegation. And we’ll see how that works with you.” In other words, she is a public official, the chief law enforcement officer in Suffolk County who is seen on camera threatening to make up a lie and file a false police report. Call us stupid, but that sounds at the bare minimum like an ethics violation. As Turtleboy suggests, Rollins just based on that fact alone should resign.

Second, does anyone believe, based on her unhinged rant on the television crew that what was alleged to have happened to Ms. Lawson didn’t happen? Rollins clearly has anger issues.

Third, she referred to Lawson’s complaint as “the rantings and ravings of a white woman.” Flip the script. If Rollins was white and said that about a black woman making a complaint, Al Sharpton and he rest of the race hustlers would be picketing in front of her house.

“So the rantings of a white woman get you here and scare my children? I swear to God—I’m dead serious. I will find our name…I will have you arrested; I swear to God.”

This was clearly a racist comment.

Rollins made the above claims prior to appearing on Howie Carr’s show. However she said on the Carr show that she didn’t know the woman (Lawson) was white. In other words, not only does she have anger issues but she’s clearly one of two things…delusional or a liar. We’ll go with liar.

Rollins’ claim that she or her children were somehow in danger is laughable. Turtleboy notes that Rollins receives her own police detail, so any danger to her is an exaggeration.

Rollins is of course one of a number of DA’s elected to office in the past several years funded by billionaire socialist George Soros, who is attempting to flip the criminal justice system in our country on its head.

As with many of these far-left, progressive socialist Das, Rollins has decided that she would not prosecute so-called “minor” offenses such as shoplifting, trespass, threatening, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and minor driving offenses. That stance has led to an explosion in “grab and go” shopliftings that had shop owners up in arms, until Charlie Baker basically shut the state down due to COVID.

Probably the most bizarre of her policies is burglaries of occupied homes, where she has implemented a policy that if they were done because the criminals were “cold or tired” but nothing was damaged, they would also not be prosecuted. Similar policies have been implemented in other cities such as Los Angeles, San  Francisco, St. Louis, Chicago and Philadelphia where Soros funded DA’s are also in office. Along with those progressive DA’s crime has exploded.

Sometimes…just sometimes…it’s good to expose exactly who these people are. Angry…entitled…incompetent.
