AUBURN, AL – We have heard a lot lately about defunding the police. We have a much better idea. Defund public colleges and universities.
From Portland to Seattle to Richmond, we have seen what the public education system has borne.
Violent, anarchist revolutionaries. Let us introduce you to Jesse A. Goldberg, Ph.D. He has not yet begun his first semester at Auburn University as a lecturer, however he has made a name for himself on social media, including a tweet where he said:
“Fuck every single cop. Every single one.”
Goldberg, who represents your basic cellar-dwelling mommy’s soy-boy, complete with virtue-signaling skull cap is apparently one of these Antifa wanna-be tough guys.
Now we’re not saying he’s Antifa, we’re saying that he’s got the typical physical makeup.
He’s the type of guy who would wet his pants if he actually came upon someone who was a threat to him, but since he’s a college professor, he thinks himself some kind of keyboard warrior. You know the type.
According to Yellowhammer News, Goldberg took to Twitter to virtue signal about Auburn’s mascot. Goldberg, who is going to be a “Lecturer of African American & American Literature and Composition in the English department, Goldberg had tweeted:
“I know it’s just a mascot, but I’m never gonna be able to call myself a ‘war eagle’ or say ‘go war eagles.’ Sorry.”
“I can’t bring myself to enthusiastically and sincerely use a slogan/greeting/cultural signal with ‘war’ as a primary descriptor. Yeah I know I’m being a party pooper but it’s the kind of language thing that sticks with me,” he said.
Aw, so Goldberg is a sensitive soy boy. Sweet.
At the time, Yellowhammer News said that Goldberg’s Twitter bio read:
“Lecturer @ Auburn U ⎸Black Studies, Critical Prison Studies, Queer Theory, American Literature ⎸Abolitionist ⎸martial artist ⎸views are mine ⎸he/him/his.”
Now make no mistake about it, when Goldberg talks about abolitionist, he’s not talking about the common definition of the word. From the header on his Twitter account (now protected of course) he defines abolitionist as:
“Not so much the abolition of prisons but the abolition of a society that could have prisons, that could have slavery, that could have the wage, and therefore not the abolition as the elimination of anything but abolition as the founding of a new society.
The object of abolition then would have a resemblance to communism…”
Ding, ding, ding…and there you have it. Another revolutionary looking for the perfect Communist Marxist utopia teaching our young skulls full of mush. See Portland.
He also described himself as a “radical anti-racist white (Jewish) teacher.”
On Wednesday, Goldberg stepped up his game and joined in on the anti-police sentiment that pollutes our colleges and universities across the country. He tweeted the following:
“Fuck every single cop. Every single one. The only ethical choice for any cop to make at this point is to refuse to do their job and quit. The police do not protect people. They protect capital. They are instruments of violence on behalf of capital.”
Goldberg tweeted this in response to a false post by the ACLU in which they claimed that a protester in New York City was allegedly “abducted” by NYPD police officers.
This of course was a lie and was explained by the NYPD who said that the protesters was in fact arrested on warrants by plainclothes officers clearly being assisted by uniformed officers. Goldberg called the arrest a “kidnapping.”
Afterward that post was deleted, and then he set his account to private. Yellowhammer did obtain a screenshot of the tweet, seen below.
Yellowhammer reached out to Auburn on Thursday afternoon who reacted to Goldberg’s tweet:
“We find Mr. Goldberg’s comments inexcusable and completely counter to Auburn values. Hate speech of any kind is simply wrong,” said Brian Keeter, the university’s executive director of Public Affairs.
“Auburn is fully committed to the fundamental right of free speech, but we do not support hateful words or actions that degrade, disrespect, or exclude. Especially during these difficult times in our nation, it’s vital that we reject crude stereotypes and work together to foster mutual understanding and respect within our communities.”
“Auburn officials are considering options available to the university,” he said.
Goldberg restricted access to his Twitter account, however his Facebook account was still available.

His Facebook cover photo on Thursday had a poem entitled, “Against the Police.”
The Facebook page still contained the diatribe against police in a much longer context than the Twitter post.
Last week, Goldberg posted on Facebook that he is a supporter of “prison & police abolition.” Goldberg has posted numerous times in which he said that he wants to abolish the police, rather than the more prevalent “defunding” or “reforming” movements currently underway.
Goldberg had recently written that he is planning to teach four classes exclusively online at Auburn University this upcoming fall semester.
A group called “Professor Watchlist,” which says it’s mission “is to expose and document college professors who discriminate against conservative students and advance leftist propaganda in the classroom,” has already identified Goldberg on it’s website.
That didn’t take long. It’s good to know there are resources out there to expose these leftists who are spouting their anti-American tripe on our universities and colleges. Rep. Brett Easterbrook (R-AL), a state representative slammed Goldberg for his posts. In a scathing Facebook post, Easterbrook said in part:
“You wonder how our society raised a bunch of communist that hate our country? Here is one of the main sources of the problems in our society. Universities! Not all college professors are complete liberals that are educated beyond their understanding, but here is a prime example
“Professor Goldberg needs to resign today. If not, Auburn University should fire him immediately. Our tax dollars are paying for this foolishness. As an Auburn graduate, I am ashamed that someone like this is “educating” our children.”
Rep. Craig Lipscomb (R-AL), also a state representative and Auburn graduate also blasted Goldberg in a Facebook post, citing a letter he had sent to Auburn University:
“I am writing this letter as a current State Representative for District 30 and as an Alumni from the School of Architecture class of 2000.
“As I am certain that you are aware of the intolerable comments made by Jesse A. Goldberg, AU professor, I must insist that proactive measures be taken to ensure that he is dismissed promptly and that other professors are made aware that this type of behavior is unacceptable. It should be unacceptable at any institution of higher learning but more so from Auburn University where his remarks are in absolute contrast to our Creed and the values held by those who are a part of our Family.
I am not asking for a reprimand. Let me make that clear. I am calling for an immediate termination of his contract with Auburn University.”
Our politicians should look at defunding these institutions if they cannot keep these Marxists under control. Why should our tax money support institutions that foment hate against our country and our very way of life? It’s good to see that some politicians in the state of Alabama are paying attention.
