Head Mom Shannon Watts has a new demand. When America is done giving up their guns, she wants police to go next.
Shannon Watts, head of the Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action, told Fortune magazine that, “Police violence is gun violence.”
Watts has dropped a lot of outrageous remarks, but this is beyond the pale.
Her “woke” awareness is leaving her blind to the rampant lawlessness plaguing urban communities and instead following misguided and vindictive policies perpetuated by politicians chasing after “Defund the Police” demands.
Left in the wake are cries of citizens left vulnerable to the cruel and heartless criminals running rampant.
Watts equates any criminal activity with all guns. Since cops carry guns, they must be bad too.
This exposes Watts, Moms Demand and her benefactor antigun billionaire Michael Bloomberg for their removed-from-reality views they are forcing on the rest of America.
Watts knows the charade is over. More than 2.5 million Americans stopped listening to her and her gun control cronies and bought a gun between March and May. Firearm sales are through the roof.
The problem isn’t police. The problem isn’t law-abiding gun owners. The problem is crime.
Watts willingly plays along with mob demands to blame crime on the very people who protect us from crime.
It’s not new to her. She painted all police with a broad racist brush after the 2018 death of Stephon Clark of Sacramento.
Before the facts of the case were known, Watts charged, tried and convicted the police in the court of public opinion as racist killers.
She equated the tragic death with the horrific church murders in Charleston, S.C. The Sacramento County district attorney investigated and refused to charge the police in the incident.
Watts Ignores Crimes
In Watts’s mind, though, they were already guilty. Then, and now, Watts clings to the theory that if anyone carries a gun, whether that is in the line of duty or for self-protection, they are guilty. Watts’s endless blame game of guns has turned her blind to the criminals bringing violence to urban centers.
Watts was suspiciously silent when “Raz the Warlord” was passing out rifles from the trunk of his car in Seattle. She didn’t speak up when two were killed there, including a teen. Watts had nothing to say about the skyrocketing crime plaguing Chicago or the murderers that killed a 1-year-old child in New York City.
Meanwhile African-American communities are demanding Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio to restore police units he slashed. The communities Watts claims to protect are crying out for police departments to restore cops to their neighborhoods to push back a criminal element that’s growing bolder.
Watts knows her influence is waning. Two and half million people woke up to their Second Amendment rights, walked away from her fear-mongering and she knows she’s no longer relevant. Dare disagree with her and soon she’ll demand that you too must go.
Then, of course, you’ve got what’s happening in Portland right now.
PORTLAND, OR – Ever wonder where these violent anarchists came from? You don’t have to wonder any more.
More than 50 days ago, protestors took to the streets of Portland to demand justice over the death of George Floyd.
Albeit many of those that are protesting have done so in peace, there have been numerous occasions where these protests have turned into riots, ripe with violence, vandalism, arson and arrests.
So much violence, that Federal Officers have been sent in to help secure the area.
.@WallOfMoms As an orphan of the MAGA movement, I can't tell you how encouraging it is to see this wall of moms out there protecting us, protecting our freedom. I dream one day that my own MAGA mom might see the light and choose to protect her son too. pic.twitter.com/uptHI92ByE

Que the “Wall of Moms”.
Over the weekend, a wall of Moms took to the Portland streets to help shield the protestors from police.
Chanting, “Moms are here, feds stay clear” and “all cops are bastards”, a large group of approximately 70 mothers used their self-proclaimed “mom bods” to block officers from being able to target the violent protestors with tear gas other less lethal means.
— WOM OFFICIAL (@WallOfMoms) July 22, 2020
The “Wall of Moms” concept was born after 35 year- old and mother of two, Bev Barnum, was watching local news coverage of the on-going riots and feeling “the need to protect rioters from the police”.
Good advice; pic.twitter.com/BsD8u3fgf8

Barnum sounded her call to action in a local on-line working moms Facebook group, recruiting other mothers for her cause.
Barnum pleaded with other moms in the group, “calling all moms, let’s do what we do best – protect people”. In an interview with ABC news, Barnum stated that “deep in my soul I feel the need to give the kids a break-before they break”.

— Alex (@aroseblush) July 22, 2020
Even though in a July 17 Facebook post, Barnum said that she was “afraid of protestors”
In an effort to sway more moms to join her cause, Barnum attempted to use sympathy to help recruit a larger amount of moms willing to stand by her side to protect the protestors and pleaded to the other mothers in her mom’s group:
“As most of you have read and seen on the news, protestors are being hurt (without cause) and as of late, protestors are being stripped of their rights by being placed in unmarked cars by identifiable law enforcement.”
— J Schear (@BlueElection) July 22, 2020
Her grassroots effort to recruit other moms to stand with her and protect the protestors from the police was successful.
On Saturday evening, standing in solidarity and locking arms, the groups of approximately 70 mothers, dressed in white t-shirts and bicycle helmets stood between the protestors and police, shouting, “leave our kids alone”.
New tactics among protesters in Portland include:
• A "Wall of Moms" who form a protective barrier between protesters and law enforcement
• A hockey stick to push back a tear gas canister
• A leaf blower to blow back the gas, a tactic used in Hong Kong https://t.co/2chPJ7C78a
— NPR (@NPR) July 22, 2020
Barnum said the first night, she requested fellow moms to wear white in an attempt to appear a “nonthreatening” appearance in an effort to dissuade police from using tear gas and flash bangs.
She said, “that by wearing white and trying to portray a nonthreatening appearance on Saturday, the group hoped the officers would be less likely to use force against them.”
— Jeffrey Guterman (@JeffreyGuterman) July 22, 2020
In a Buzzfeed article, Barnum stated that “We wanted to look like we were going to Target, like normal people”.
What Barnham failed to mention in her plea, was that this mob of protestors have been responsible for setting fires around the city and attacking law enforcement officers.
Throughout the weekend, rioters had begun to tear down a newly constructed fence surrounding the now dismantled Chinook Land Autonomous Territory or CLAT in Lownsdale Square Park and were attempting to use it to barricade the doors of the Multnomah County Justice Center and the federal courthouse.
On Sunday, the wall of moms returned, this time dressed in yellow. According to Barnum, this time “the Feds came out of the building, they walked slowly, assembled themselves and started shooting (tear gas).
Barnum told a CNN reporter:
“I couldn’t believe it was happening. Traumatic doesn’t begin to describe it.”
This, after the second round of tear gas was deployed into the rioters in response to another fence being toppled, the wall of moms dispersed, leaving the rioters to defend themselves.
Barnum admitted to losing control over her bladder and vomiting all over herself after getting gassed this past weekend but is not giving up her cause.

— Shannon Watts (@shannonrwatts) July 22, 2020
She has since met up with local members of Portland Don’t Shoot’ who have given her tips on how to protect herself and the other members of the Wall of Moms, during the protests.
Barnum says she now has over 2,000 moms expressing interest in participating in the next Wall of Moms event.
In the meantime, the latest attack on federal law enforcement in America is a highly personal one.
Policing, regardless of when it is as far as history goes, is extremely dangerous. Several states have protections in place which prohibit the publication of any law enforcement officers or family members personal information.
This is, of course, to safeguard them from the ill effects of a criminal or their associates from being arrested or cited in anyway. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security released information showing that almost 40 federal law enforcement officer’s personal information was released online.
The thought of protecting law enforcement officer’s personal information is to safeguard their families from harm when it comes to criminally charging someone.
The Deputy Director of Operations for the Federal Protective Service, Richard Cline, released in a press conference that almost 40 federal officers had their private information released online.
This, despite officers having their name tags removed from their uniform with only their badge numbers displayed.
For those of you that are not in law enforcement, badge numbers are how those in the police world identify others in the same realm. Typically, officers are no longer referred to by their names, it is either by their identification or badge number or last name.
According to Fox News, federal officers have been attacked, not only by weapons which include fireworks, hammers and feces, they have also had their personal information leaked online.
Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf has also promised that despite any attempts to attack officers while on the job or personally that they will not retreat.
He told rioters in his statement that those who chose to do violence must “find another line of work.” He continued:
“If you are a violent rioter looking to inflict damage on federal property or law enforcement officers, you need to find another line of work. We will not retreat, we will continue to protect our facilities and our law enforcement officers.”
Department of Homeland Security Federal Police officers along with law enforcement from the U.S. Marshals Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have been deployed around Portland and are also coming to areas around the United States.
This is all in an effort to protect federal properties as ordered by the President of the United States. Portions of that Executive Order state:
“The first duty of government is to ensure domestic tranquility and defend the life, property, and rights of its citizens. Over the last 5 weeks, there has been a sustained assault on the life and property of civilians, law enforcement officers, government property, and revered American monuments…..
May of the rioters, arsonists, and left-wing extremists who have carried out and supported these acts have explicitly identified themselves with ideologies – such as Marxism – that call for the destruction of the United States system of government……
The Secretary of Homeland Security shall provide, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, personnel to assist with the protection of Federal monuments, memorials, statutes, or property. This section shall terminate 6 months from the date of this order unless extended by the President.”
Efforts to place the federal officers safety in harms way are well beyond the typical democratic handbook. However, it would be a page out of Antifa’s. Antifa has long since called for the disruption or attacking of law enforcement, all with the idea of pushing forth their communist agenda.
Personal attacks on law enforcement could likely deter any of those exposed officers to reconsider any law enforcement actions they take, for fear of retribution against their family members.
Wolf made it a point to say on Monday that the federal police officers are only there to protect federal property and the destruction of it by the rioters:
“What we know is before July 4, where we saw an escalation of violence in Portland, before that time, there was violence going, ongoing and DHS had very few officers in the city.
We know that violence before the courthouse, they were directed at the Portland Police Department and other city buildings.
So, the facts don’t lie, and the facts are that these violent anarchists and extremists were violent well before DHS surged federal assets into Portland. We are focused on protecting federal facilities. That is our mission, and we’re going to continue to do that.”
Game over: President Trump sending federal police throughout country to end riots, take back America
Washington DC – He’s done with the garbage… and he’s sending in the feds. Everywhere.
President Trump enacted an Executive Order which partially states:
“The first duty of government is to ensure domestic tranquility and defend the life, property, and rights of its citizens. Over the last 5 weeks, there has been a sustained assault on the life and property of civilians, law enforcement officers, government property, and revered American monuments…
Many of the rioters, arsonists, and left-wing extremists who have carried out and supported these acts have explicitly identified themselves with ideologies – such as Marxism – that call for the destruction of the United States system of government…
The Secretary of Homeland Security shall provide, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, personnel to assist with the protection of Federal monuments, memorials, statutes, or property. This section shall terminate 6 months from the date of this order unless extended by the President.”
In keeping to his promise to end the riots and stop the unlawful destruction of federal property, President Trump is following through and sending federal police to those areas which have yet to stop the riots.
President Trump had called on the democratic leaders in these areas to calm the violence and stop the riots in their areas or warned that he would send in federal authorities to stop it for them.
After they were unable or refused to stop the rioting, he is following through on his promise to the American people to bring peace back to these areas, so that more private property owners, including those owned by minorities, do not have to worry about their livelihood being destroyed.
According to Fox News, President Trump states:
“New York and Chicago and Philadelphia and Detroit and Baltimore…we’re not going to let this happen in our country. We will have more federal law enforcement. That I can tell you.”
President Trump’s call to action, specifically in Chicago, may be pushed by the rising violent crime in the area. A city in which recently had 14 victims that were taken to local hospitals after being shot at a funeral Tuesday night.
A witness to the shooting, Arnita Gerder, on Tuesday night told WMAQ:
“All we saw was just bodies laying everywhere. Shot up everywhere, all over. Legs, stomach, back, all over the place. We thought it was a war out there.”
On Monday alone, more than 20 people were killed in the city. Over the weekend, 63 total people were shot, 12 of those were killed. FOP President Catanzara wrote:
“I would be willing to sit down anytime and discuss ideas about how we can bring civility back to the streets of Chicago. These politicians are failing the good men and women of this city and the police department. Mayor Lightfoot has proved to be a complete failure who is either unwilling or unable to maintain law and order here.”
President Trump weighed in on Lightfoot by saying:
“Your lack of leadership on this important issue continues to fail the people you have sworn to protect. I am concerned it is another example of you lack of commitment to the vulnerable citizens who are victims of this violence and lack of respect for the men and women in law enforcement.”
Democratic Mayor Lightfoot responded:
“If you really wanted to help the city, let’s start with the fact that you would weigh in, Mr. President, on common sense….gun reform. It makes no sense that people from Chicago can go across the border to Indiana and buy military grade weapons and bring them to our city and kill our children.”
What the mayor fails to realize is that criminals do not go to areas where it is legal to buy firearms the majority of the time. Often, criminals buy guns off of other criminals off of the streets, and no laws (and Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the nation) will prevent a criminal from obtaining a gun.
By nature, criminals do not obey the laws.
Under no circumstances will I allow Donald Trump’s troops to come to Chicago and terrorize our residents.
— Mayor Lori Lightfoot (@chicagosmayor) July 21, 2020
Mayor Lightfoot also contends that the federal officers who are operating elsewhere have no way to identify that they are law enforcement.
Law Enforcement Today challenges you to look up any federal officer element in that city, and if you find a federal police officer that is not clearly identifiable.
Democratic leaders in the House sent a letter to the Acting Homeland Security Director Chad Wolf, demanding explanations for what has transpired in Portland.
Perhaps they have not watched any of the videos which show the rioters unlawfully attacking officers and failing to yield their lawful commands to step away from all federal buildings.
If the officers cannot use force to ensure that people adhere to their commands to step away, what are they supposed to do, beg them to obey the law?
The letter says:
“The tactics that DHS appears to be utilizing to carry out the President’s Executive Order in Portland, Oregon, run contrary to the rule of law, including the most fundamental requirements of the Constitution, and are an intolerable anathema to everything for which our Republic stands.”
Perhaps, again, they have not watched the vide of violent rioters that have attacked law enforcement officers and destroyed property. Last time we checked, destroying and attacking people were not guaranteed by the Constitution.
Democratic spokesman appears to tell decorated combat veteran to burn in hell and die
Pennsylvania – Wow – tell us how you really feel.
Democratic Representative for Pennsylvania’s 17th congressional district, Conor Lamb, is in the middle of a campaign against Republican challenger Sean Parnell.
Typically, mud slinging in campaigns is to be expected, however, campaign spokesmen do not tweet out desires for their opponents to burn in hell and die, that is just frowned upon in a civilized society.
Until now, when Lamb’s spokesman and brother, Coleman Lamb, did just that when he replied to a tweet asking that Parnell be added to a thread to “Burn in hell and die.”
Parnell issued a statement regarding the tweet, saying:
“It is disappointing that Conor Lamb’s brother, a leader in his campaign, would stoop so low as to call for the death of a political opponent. It is distasteful and hateful rhetoric that has no place in political discourse.
In the spirit of today’s cancel culture, one would expect calls for Coleman Lamb’s immediate dismissal. However, I believe that everyone needs a little grace from time to time.
As despicable as Coleman Lamb’s comments are, everyone makes mistakes, and I hope that Coleman Lamb, Conor Lamb, and their campaign team can learn from it.”
Dem Congressman’s Spokesman Appears To Tell GOP Opponent And Veteran Sean Parnell To ‘Burn In Hell And Die’

Michael McAdams, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee called the tweet from Lamb “totally unhinged.”
He tweeted, “Totally unhinged behavior from @ConorLambPA’s little brother & campaign manager; wishing Lamb’s opponent and decorated Army combat veteran @SeanParnellUSA dies and burns in hell.”

— Michael McAdams (@M_McAdams) July 18, 2020
Abby Nassif-Murphy, the campaign manager for Lamb said that Coleman Lamb did not “threaten anyone.”
Lamb just tagged Parnell’s twitter account “while responding to vile tweets from the Republicans attacking John Lewis in the hours after his death. It was intemperate and [Coleman] should’ve realized how it could be misconstrued.”
She then alleged that Parnell and “the paid trolls in the national Republican party say all kinds of things about us on Twitter. We don’t complain and the media doesn’t cover it- no should they.”
Murphy offers no forms of evidence in her belief that republicans pay people to tweet negative things on twitter.
Andrew Brey, a spokesman for Parnell says:
“The tweet comes on the heels of this week’s release of campaign finance data showing that Parnell outraised Lamb nearly 2-1 in the second quarter of 2020. Parnell raised over $717,000; Lamb raised only $441,393 during the same period.”
Apparently, Brey is blaming the tweet from Coleman Lamb’s frustration on his little brother not being able to raise similar funds as Parnell.
Lamb contends that the only reason the tweet surfaced had nothing to do initially with the campaign, however, alluded to a tweet posted at 11:45PM on Friday by Sea Strnad.
Strnad was apparently upset that the late John Lewis did not back Bernie Sanders for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Strnad tweeted:
“But as a sellout, [Mr. Lewis] endorsed Joe Biden. So now, well, he’s not going to miss out on too much, unfortunately.”
Coleman Lamb responded later to that tweet in which he said:
“You are literally a clown. You deserve nothing.”
He then added a few minutes later in a game of ‘I know you are but what am I’ to the tweet, “This is the Trump/[Sean Strnad] campaign.” Another user responded to Strnad in a tweet “Burn in hell and die.”
In continuing the childish game and trying to be the protective big brother because the younger Lamb cannot seem to fight his own fights, Coleman Lamb responded asking if Parnell’s name could be added to the burn and hell tweet.
Baby brother Conor has been in office since March of 2018 after winning a special election when Republican Tim Murphy resigned.
It’s not the only campaign under fire. Look at what’s going on with the Biden campaign.
Sara Pearl, a supervising video producer for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign mocked cops as worse than pigs and calls for defunding the police.
Back in June, Pearl tweeted a meme that urged people to stop calling police “pigs”.
She continued with:
“Pigs are highly intelligent and empathetic animals who would never racially profile you.”
Biden campaign staffer mocked cops as worse than 'pigs,' called for defunding police. The videographer, Sara Pearl, also retweeted a user's comment that while "pigs are sweet, intelligent and compassionate," police officers are "monsters" who "don't deserve to be called pigs." pic.twitter.com/llF9DH3NC0

According to FoxNews, Pearl also retweeted a users comment on her post, which said:
“Pigs are sweet, intelligent, and compassionate. Police officers are monsters who don’t deserve to be called pigs.”
In another tweet, Pearl simply wrote, “#DefundPolice” and then again a few days later said that Buffalo’s police department should be “defunded immediately.”
Pearl has published several other pro-pig tweets. for example, she wrote that calling President Trump a pig was an "insult to pigs, that she will not "tolerate."
BREAKING: Biden Staffer Deletes Social Media Posts After Caught Comparing Police to Pigs https://t.co/t512ChB5TW

Back in 2016, after several Dallas police officers were killed by a sniper who, “wanted to kill white people,” Pearl went after the National Rifle Association for tweeting its condolences in the case, but not for any shootings prior to that.
“Of course they respond to the officers, but not to the previous shootings.”
According to Breitbart, Pearl joined the Biden campaign on July 1st and she conveniently deleted her anti-police tweets after FoxNews reached out to her for comment. Neither she or the Biden campaign have responded to FoxNews for comments. Prior to starting with the Biden campaign, Pearl worked with the Bernie Sanders campaign.
Job update! Today is my first day working for the @JoeBiden campaign as supervising producer. I’m grateful to have worked for @BernieSanders during and after his primary campaign. Excited to join #TeamJoe, produce some great videos, and help get him elected our next president.
— Sara Pearl (@skenigsberg) July 1, 2020
Pearl has also tweeted at President Trump saying that comparing the president to a pig was actually an insult to pigs.
Conservatives are surprised that the Biden team has yet to comment on Pearl and her anti-police tweets. On Friday, the Trump campaign released a statement saying:
“Now Biden employs a staffer who uses the most vile, inflammatory, and incendiary language to target the brave men and women who risk their own lives to keep us safe.”
Bob Paduchik, a Trump campaign advisor added:
“How can Joe Biden look in the faces of grieving law enforcement families whose loved ones died in the line of duty? Never in history has a major party campaign so angrily fanned the flames of hatred against our nations heroes.”
Joe Biden can’t stand up to his supporters or staff who are calling to Defund the Police. Scary!
The Biden campaign didn’t respond to when given the chance.
Why wouldn’t the Biden campaign immediately say “of course we don’t support this!”??!https://t.co/BNP2BYO54G
— Richard Grenell (@RichardGrenell) July 17, 2020
In another comment, Richard Grenell, Trump’s former director of national intelligence said:
“Joe Biden can’t stand up to his supporters or staff who are calling to ‘Defund the Police’. Scary!”
“The Biden campaign didn’t respond when given the chance. Why wouldn’t the Biden campaign immediately say ‘of course we don’t support this!??!”
According to FoxNews, Pearl’s comments came as the Trump campaign has portrayed Biden as weak on policing amid a nationwide movement to “Defund the Police.” Earlier this week, a major law enforcement group endorsed President Trump’s re-election.
On July 16th, in response to the criticism from the Trump campaign, Democratic National Committee communications director, Xochitl Hinojosa, said on Bill Hemmer Reports:
“Biden does not support defunding the police.”
In contrast, Biden himself said in a recent interview that some funding should absolutely be redirected from police budgets.
In that interview he also stated:
“Police forces don’t need surplus military equipment because it makes them look like ‘the enemy’ in communities.”
Again, in June, Biden attended a high-roller fundraiser headlined by musician John Legend, who has openly promised that he’ll try and push the former vice president toward totally defunding the police and adopting other far-left positions.
On July 15th, the Trump campaign received the endorsement of the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), which has since praised his “steadfast and very public support” for law enforcement. NAPO did not endorse a candidate in the 2016 election, but endorsed former President Barack Obama and then Vice President Bide in both the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.
In a closing comment, when asked how the NAPO endorsement of Trump would impact Biden’s campaign, Hinojosa said:
“I think right now, Joe Biden is making sure that he is someone who is talking directly to Americans about how to keep them safe and making sure we are rebuilding this trust.”

This is not the first time Biden staffers have supported the anti-police movement. Back in May, Law Enforcement Today reported that Biden staffers were donating funds to pay rioters bail.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – On one hand, you’ve got President Trump who says he’ll designate Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.
Then you’ve got his likely November opponent, Joe Biden, who has campaign staff advertising the fact that they are making donations to a group which is paying bail fees for those arrested in Minneapolis.
It is safe to say that some of those arrested are members of this domestic terror group.

According to Reuters, at least 13 members of Biden’s campaign staff posted on Twitter over the weekend that they had made donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a group that opposes the imposition of cash bail, or requiring people to pay to avoid pre-trial imprisonment.
This particular group pays bail fees in Minneapolis.

In a statement to Reuters, Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates noted that Biden opposes cash bail and says it is the “modern day debtors prison.”
Overwhelmed doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling. This is the turnout for a call for 80 bags of food for families who live near the 3rd Police Precinct who lost their convenient stores in the riots this week in South Minneapolis.
— Marielle Mohs (@MarielleMohs) May 31, 2020
However Biden’s camp refused to answer questions about whether or not the donations were coordinated with Biden’s campaign.
This would seem to indicate that his camp is trying to distance itself from what have been extremely violent protests, which have resulted in hundreds of millions of property damage, as well as leaving hundreds of police officers injured nationwide.
— HopClear (@HopClear) May 30, 2020
Bates did state that the former vice-president had commented that while the “protesters” have the right to be angry, more violence will not solve the problems of alleged unequal justice.

Fox News noted that in a statement on Saturday, Biden referred to the riots taking place throughout the country as an “utterly American response,” saying that such actions were “right and necessary” due to how Floyd died while in police custody.
— TLC (Team DML) (@rasberries) May 31, 2020
Biden did hedge a bit on the violence and looting saying:
“Protesting such brutality is right and necessary. It is an utterly American response. Violence that endangers lives is not. Violence that guts and shutters businesses that serve the community is not.”
President Trump, meanwhile, has called the protesters “thugs,” and on Saturday noted that states and cities needed to get “much tougher” on anti-police protests, or the federal government would step in and use the military to make arrests.

The president also expressed sympathy over the Floyd incident, who died last Monday after being pinned to the ground by a police officer after he was arrested by kneeling on his neck.
During the incident, which was captured on video, the police officer maintained this position for over eight minutes while Floyd complained, “I can’t breathe.” Three other officers on scene did nothing to interfere.
The video went viral, and served as the catalyst for increasingly violent protests, which began in Minneapolis, but which have spread nationwide to virtually every major American city.
In Minneapolis, Gov. Tim Walz said on Saturday that a majority of those arrested in Minnesota were not residents of the state but were out-of-state agitators. It is unknown how many arrests have been made since the onset of the protests.
Aside from Walz, the mayor of Minneapolis and other state officials have agreed with Walz’s assessment. However, citing jail logs, a local Fox affiliate disputed that, saying most have Minnesota addresses.
