Report: Democrats defund Israel’s Iron Dome from U.S. budget, burning our closest ally

Share:

WASHINGTON, D.C.- According to reports, far-left Democrats forced out provisions to fund Israel’s Iron Dome from the continuing resolution (CR) that would keep the government funded and raise the debt ceiling.

Army Technology reports that, “Iron Dome provides defence[sic] against short-range missiles and rockets which pose a threat to the civilian population,” such as those fired from Gaza earlier in the year. It can be operated in all weather conditions, including fog, dust storms, low clouds and rain.

The Iron Dome detects, analyses and intercepts a range of incoming threats, including C-RAM, precise guided missiles, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and air-breathing threats. Reportedly, the system has so far intercepted more than 2,500 incoming targets with a success rate of over 90 percent.

According to Army Technology:

“In July 2010, the US House of Representatives approved $205M in funding to speed up the production and deployment of Iron Dome.”

A Politico reporter claimed that due to there not being enough votes to pass the CR as a result of pushback from far-left Democrats, House Democrats were forced to remove the Iron Dome provisions to pass the measure.

However, before the provisions were taken out, far-left Democrats allegedly told the Democrat leadership they would not vote for the bill if it included the $1 billion funding for the Iron Dome, which caused the Rules Committee to go into recess.

The CR has reportedly been revised with the Iron Dome provision taken out. The far-left members leading this effort have been Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). Due to her thin majority in the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) cannot have any opposition in her party if she hopes to pass anything.

Pelosi has already been facing opposition from the Republicans who have said they will not vote from the CR due to the provision to raise the debt ceiling in the bill. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), the head of the far-left Congressional Progressive Caucus is reportedly set to meet with Pelosi in the coming days.

There was also funding in the bill to replace the missiles used from the Iron Dome in May from the Hamas attack on the Jewish state. Bloomberg reported the Defense Department asked in a classified supplemental request of $1 billion.

According to that report, Democratic leaders are attempting to set up a vote on the stopgap funding bill to avert a government shutdown that also would suspect the debt ceiling until 2022 and provide money to aid states struck by natural disasters.

Breitbart News reported that on Tuesday, September 21st, Republicans slammed Democrats for defunding Israeli’s Iron Dome within the government funding bill.

The removal of the funds for the Iron Dome speaks to the panicked mood of the Democrat leadership over enacting President Joe Biden’s massive tax and spending proposals. In response, the White House has suggested that Biden approve the defunding of the Iron Dome.

Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) tweeted that the Democrats caved to the radical left just after President Biden promised to help protect Israel from terrorism. He wrote:

“Speaker Pelosi JUST caved to the socialists and yanked funding for Israel’s Iron Dome from the government funding CR bill. Dems can’t even keep a promise for 24 hours.”

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) tweeted the far-left has shown their true colors by defending Hamas. She wrote:

“The radical left shows their blatant disregard for supporting our ally Israel and Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas terrorists.”

Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-IA) tweeted that Biden contradicted himself by proclaiming Israel to be an ally while allowing his party to abandon Israel. He wrote:

“President Biden proclaimed to our allies that ‘America is back,’ but since then he has abandoned Americans & allies in Afghanistan, weakened our relationships with France, and now his Party has let down Israel – our closest ally in the Middle East.”

Report: Iranian top nuclear scientist assassinated by Israel with remote-control robot gun

September 20th, 2021

Iran- According to a report published on Saturday, September 18th in The New York Times, Iran’s top nuclear scientist was assassinated by Israel’s national intelligence agency using a high-tech remote-controlled machine gun.

The report stated that Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was shot on November 27, 2020, while driving his Nissan Teana between a vacation home on the Caspian Sea and a country house in the town of Absard, where he planned to spend the weekend with his wife.

Iranian agents working for Israel had parked a blue Nissan Zamyad pickup truck on the side of the road with a 7.62-mm sniper machine gun hidden among decoy construction materials.

An assassin with the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, fired the gun at Fakhrizadeh.

The assassin was reportedly more than 1,000 miles away using an advanced robot to operate the weapon that was smuggled into the country in small pieces over several months. Taken together, all of its components would have weighed around a full ton.

Explosives planted on the gun and robot left them intact, allowing Iranians to piece together what happened. At the burial ceremony for Fakhrizdeh, Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said:

“Unfortunately, the operation was very complicated and was done using electronic equipment and no [perpetrators] were at the scene.”

The Jerusalem Post followed up confirming the Times’ reporting, saying it cleared up the confusion surrounding Fakhrizadeh’s death. The Post further reported that questions remain over how successful the operation was in delaying Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

At the time of the assassination, most senior Israeli defense and intelligence media analysts leaned heavily toward the physical team theory, viewing the remote-gun scenario as disinformation to throw Iran off the tail of catching the physical team.

Israel had Fakhrizadeh in its sights since 2007 and was concerned he was accelerating Iran’s nuclear program. In 2012, Israel put its assassination plan on hold as the United States began negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program.

While all Israeli intelligence and defense officials still praise the assassination for setting back Iran’s nuclear weapons program dramatically, 10 months later and with the Islamic Republic an estimated one month away from producing sufficient enriched uranium for a nuclear bomb, the legacy of the operation is less clear.

It was later reported that a publicly unknown man named “Farhi” replaced Fakhrizadeh, even as experts say he could not be fully replaced.

Some would say that the operation succeeded in throwing Iran’s nuclear program into chaos for some months, but that Tehran has long since recovered.

On the other hand, others say that even if Iran decides to move its uranium enrichment up to 90%, that is weaponized level, they still have to put together the other components of a nuclear weapon capability. These include tasks concerned with detonation and missile delivery.

The Times’ reported that after President Donald Trump quashed the agreement with Iran, Israel resumed its assassination plans in 2019 and 2020 along with high-ranking U.S. officials.

Iran’s English language Press TV reported that it would target the U.S. in legal proceedings for its support of Israeli-led assassination of nuclear scientists. Iranian officials are asking the United States to renew discussions over its nuclear program.

Veteran: Biden’s comments about “F-15’s and nuclear weapons” show he doesn’t understand the Constitution

June 24th, 2021

Washington, DC – It appears that the President of the United States believes that Americans stand no chance against a tyrannical government. And if he has his way, you will have nothing to fight with anyway.

In essence, what Joe Biden said on Wednesday was that the citizenry would need larger weapons than we have access to .

This coming from the same man who believed that several hundred unarmed people threatened to overthrow democracy on January 6th.

“If you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons. The point is that there has always been the ability to limit — rationally limit the type of weapon that can be owned and who can own it.”

Actually, Mr. President, that is not even in the ballpark of accurate.

“The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon,” Biden said.

“Those who say the ‘blood of patriots,’ you know, and all the stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government. Well, the tree of liberty is not watered with the blood of patriots.”

Perhaps a quick history lesson for the President is in order.

The 2nd Amendment was adopted in 1791. At that time, store owners, farmers, blacksmiths and every other citizen were capable to legally procure and own the very same firearms employed by the US military.

The first law passed regulating the ownership of weapons and limiting what was considered illegal to won was the National Firearms Act of 1934. This act was aimed at regulating the sells of certain types of weapons in use by the criminal gangs prevalent at the time.

It wasn’t until 1968 that the US passed legislation surrounding other “destructive” devices such as grenades, bombs, and mines.

So, the truth of the matter is that for 177 years, the common man in the US had the ability to legally possess the very weapons that the average soldier carried into battle. The only hurdle they needed to overcome was  to have the financial means to purchase the expensive weaponry.

Speaking of Biden’s grasp history, he seemed to be paraphrasing Thomas Jefferson, who famously said that, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.”

Apparently, Biden had forgotten what originally planted and watered the “tree of liberty.”

It almost sounded like he was saying that we need to blindly pledge allegiance to the government, trust them with all we are worth, no matter how corrupt and power hungry they become, and good luck stopping them, because, well…F15s and nuclear weapons.

All of these comments came as part of a larger conversation around the spike of violent crime in the US.

“Folks, this shouldn’t be a red or blue issue,” the President said. “It’s an American issue. We’re not changing the Constitution. We’re enforcing it, being reasonable. We’re taking on the bad actors doing bad and dangerous things in our communities.”

But, any effort to infringe on the American citizen’s right to keep and bear arms, without due process, is going to be met with resistance.

And that is what the President and the rest of Washington’s progressives are trying to do. And as much as they try to deny it, their own words prove this to be true.

Let’s not forget that Biden, during the presidential campaign, told Beto O’Rourke that he was going to “take care of the gun problem, you’re going to be the one who leads this effort.”

That is the same Beto O’Rourke who said,

“Hell yes, we’re going to take away your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.”

It is ironic, however, that Attorney General Merrick Garland seemed to separate the DOJ’s thought process from that of the White House.

As Biden pointed to regulating the ownership and access of the law-abiding American, Garland addressed the real issue we face in this county.

“The Justice Department’s violent crime reduction strategy and our initiatives to stem the rising tide of illegal illegal guns will save lives,” Garland stated. “But these steps alone will not solve the problem of violent crime; success depends on all of us joining together.”

Colorado woman uses red flag law against officer who shot and killed her knife-wielding son

Sadly, this is not the first time that the current President as made references to what the government was capable of in comparison to the average American, In fact, it is almost like he is reading from a script written on 3×5 cards, using almost the exact same words .

We covered this same ideology from then Candidate Biden back in early 2020.

During a question and answer session in Hudson, NH., Biden made the following statement while talking to gun owners:

“There is a Second Amendment and you do have a right to bear arms but not an unlimited right.”

Later on, he added,

“The constitution does not say anybody can own a weapon, it says only certain people can own weapons.”

Uh, not sure which Constitution you’re reading there Joe, but ours says:

“A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Biden then made reference to gun owners who quote Thomas Jefferson’s statement speaking to the tension that exists between free men and rulers who wish to suppress them; Jefferson famously made the observation that “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.”

“Those who say ‘the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots’—a great line, well guess what: The fact is, if you’re going to take on the government you need an F-15 with Hellfire Missiles. There is no way an AK-47 is going to take care of you if you’re worried about the government knocking down your door.”

The only real difference between 2020 and 2021 is that he progressed from Hellfire missiles to nuclear weapons.

This is the leader of our nation, telling American that if the government comes to your door, there is nothing you can do to stop it.

That should cause every single one of us to lose some sleep.
