Report: California Secretary of State confirms double-voting by mail took place in Super Tuesday primary

SACRAMENTO, CA.- On Wednesday, Breitbart News released a story that noted California Secretary of State Alex Padilla confirmed that during the “Super Tuesday” primary from last month, double-voting by mail took place.

Law Enforcement Today recently reported that as part of the so-called “CARES” Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act), Democrats were trying to put in some liberal wish list goodies that have nothing to do with aid, relief or economic security.

Among the items on the wish list are measures that could potentially make election fraud easier, such as ballot harvesting and mail-in voting.

Even before the primary took place, a citizen watchdog group, Election Integrity Project California (EIPC) sent a letter to Padilla in which they asked his office to look into “possible double voting in the 2020 primary election.”

In a letter dated April 7, 2020, Padilla did indeed confirm that double-voting was confirmed in at least one case and double-voting was suspected by a number of other registered voters, according to a letter obtained by Breitbart News.

In his letter, Padilla confirmed that in at least one case, two ballots from one voter were “opened and counted on election night.” In addition, 12 of the total 15 registered voters identified with “duplicate voting history” are suspected to have cast two ballots for the March primary election,” Padilla wrote in the letter.

Padilla noted that in two remaining cases, county election officials “caught the duplicate voter records prior to Election Day and only one vote was tallied.” The findings have been “forwarded to investigators to follow-up as necessary with the voters.” It makes one wonder, why weren’t all of their ballots disqualified, since they were clearly committing fraud?

“Election Integrity Project California has an incredible accomplishment here. Moving the California Secretary of State to share evidence of apparent double voting among duplicated registrants is a testament to their research methodology and judgment,” Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) President J. Christian Adams told Breitbart.

Adams also noted that there has been a growing problem with duplicate registration and/or voting nationwide, including in New Mexico, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

In what promises to be a very contentious election in November, people are concerned, and apparently rightly so, of possible voter fraud. EIPC believes that there are more than 30,000 duplicated registered voters on California’s voter rolls.

In a majority of cases, they say, the registrations of the duplicate voters have the same name, address, and birth date on their registrations.

Some duplicated registered voters show people who have used their married and maiden names to register twice, while some have multiple home addresses. And we wonder why some people, primarily Republicans are asking for positive ID to be part of the election process.

According to PILF, researchers have found that in New Mexico, there are nearly 1,700 dead people on the state’s voter rolls, as well as 1,519 voters who are listed as being 100-years-old. More than 3,100 voters in New Mexico have been identified as having duplicate registrations.

In Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where Pittsburgh is located, PILF researchers have said there are nearly 1,600 dead people on voting lists, along with over 1,500 voters who are listed as 100-years-old or older, and nearly 7,500 voters who have been flagged due to duplicate registration concerns.

Finally, in Detroit, Michigan nearly 4,800 voters have been identified as having potential duplicate registrations, which would allow them to vote twice in elections. An additional 2,500 dead people were identified as being on voter rolls.

In case you had any doubts who was behind nationwide mail-in voting for the November elections, look no further than far-left progressive meddler George Soros. The move to nationwide mail-in voting is estimated to have the ability to deliver ballots to 24 million ineligible voters, and is being funded by organizations affiliated with Soros.

Socialist Soros through his Open Society Foundations have been trying to change the way Americans vote through both electronic and mail in voting systems, both of which are fraught with the possibility of fraud.

Specifically, the Brennan Center for Justice, located at NYU School of Law is heavily financed by Open Society, and has received numerous grants. In leaked Open Society Foundation documents, the Brennan Center was identified as receiving funds that were specifically intended for “litigation to expand access to registration and improve ease of voting.”

Besides Brennan Center, there are a ton of other progressive groups tied to Soros’ billions that are pushing mail-in voting, of course using the coronavirus pandemic as a convenient excuse to do so.

Brennan released a blueprint for voting reform, which the usual suspects in media are all on-board with. Among those touting the plan are the New York Times, Washington Post, Politico, the Guardian and others.

On cue, Democrats in both the Senate and House have proposed implementing the scheme, citing the Brennan Center’s plan.

Failed presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) along with Chris Coons (D-DE) along with around a dozen Democrat senators introduced a bill last month to allow for mail-in ballots, along with other “updated” voting measures such as ballot harvesting.

In the House, Suzan DelBene (D-WA), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), and Jamie Raskin (D-MD) introduced a companion measure.

If one digs through the dirt of all the groups involved in trying to completely overturn the American election system, Soros’ fingerprints can be found all over it through a number of different organizations all funded by his groups—Democracy Alliance, Stand Up America, Sixteen Thirty Fund—the list goes on.

In addition, the ACLU—it’s always the ACLU—has been pushing for mail-in voting as well, under the convenient excuse of “social distancing” relative to the coronavirus. They have received $50 million in grants from Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

Not happy with merely screwing up this November’s elections, Soros’ groups want this to become permanent. Groups pushing for permanent mail-in voting include the National Association of Non-Partisan Reformers, Public Citizen, Common Cause, National Vote at Home Institute and the Center for Secure and Modern Elections. Common Cause and Public Citizen are both funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

One thing that you can bet is that if Soros has his hands in it, then it cannot be good for the country.

Meantime, another relic from the Obama administration, Eric Holder, views the coronavirus pandemic as a golden opportunity to permanently change how U.S. elections are conducted.

Holder, who served as attorney general under Obama from 2009-2015, has suggested that people should be able to cast their votes from home. What could possibly go wrong?

Holder also suggests that voting should last for several days.

“We have to provide safe and healthy polling places so that the poll workers and those who want to cast a ballot in person have opportunities to do that while they’re protecting themselves,” Holder proposed in an interview with Time magazine.

“You want to expand the number of voting days. Get creative about this,” he said, calling for a “sea change” in how we think about conducting elections.

Of course, a crisis is the perfect time for left-wing loons like Holder to crawl out from under their rocks to take advantage.

Last week, voters in Wisconsin went to the polls despite the coronavirus situation, a move which some including Obama described as a “debacle.”

“Allow people to access their primary American right by voting at home. It’s not as if this is an untried concept. Oregon has been doing this for years,” Holder said.

Of course, considering Democrats were all concerned about Russian interference in the 2016 election and the presence of so-called “bots” in forums such as Twitter, why all of a sudden are they embracing the concept of electronic voting? Any remote voting…be it electronic or via mail is ripe for abuse and ripe for fraud.

“Coronavirus gives us an opportunity (never let a crisis go to waste) to revamp our electoral system so that it permanently becomes more inclusive (read more illegals get to vote) and becomes easier (read easier to commit fraud) for the American people to access,” he added.
