PENNSYLVANIA – The University of Pennsylvania is under fire as a new report revealed that the prestigious ivy league school received $3 million from a company owned by a businessman with links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The school claims that the cash came from a Chinese citizen named Xin Zhou who was a “large client” of UPenn’s business school. Daily Mail reported that Zhou runs a company called E-House and participated in a UPenn Wharton Business school event in Shanghai last year.
In contrast, the Washington Free Beacon reported that the money actually came from an alleged shell company called the Nice Famous Corp. This company is connected to the Shanghai real estate developer Xu Xueqing. Allegedly, Xueqing has no ties to UPenn, but does have links to the CCP.
“Michael Sobolik, a China expert at @afpc, told the Free Beacon that Xu’s non-prosecution implies close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.” https://t.co/T60RKD26cb

Not only are there claims that Xueqing has ties to the CCP, but he was previously embroiled in a Shanghai public corruption scandal. Back in 2011, he was entangled in a bribery case involving a senior officer at the Shanghai Housing and Land Resources Bureau. Allegedly, the bribe taker was sentenced to life in prison, but Xu was not prosecuted.
Michael Sobolik, a China expert at the American Foreign Policy Council said that Xu’s non-prosecution could indicate close ties to the CCP.
He said:
“The fact that Xu escaped prosecution in Tao Xiaoxing’s trial and especially his survival of President Xi Jinping’s ‘anti-corruption campaign,’ suggests that Xu may have Party connections.”
He also said:
“Businessmen with high-level CCP connections can play by a different set of rules, as long as they are connected to the right Party faction.”
Stephen McCarty, a spokesman for the university, has been unable to explain why the ivy league school decided to attribute the donation to Zhou. Allegedly, the funds ended up flowing through the Hong Kong registered Nice Famous Corporation Limited company, which Xu reportedly owns. However, there is no obvious connection between Xu and Nice Limited.

As reported by Free Beacon, the company does not appear to operate from its registered address. In fact, another company called Double Rich Development Ltd., which specializes in the import and export of ore and minerals sits there.
According to some experts, China has poured a good amount of money into American universities in recent years, in part to buy influence on campuses.
Ben Freeman, the director of the Foreign Influence Transparency Initiative at the Center for International Policy said in a statement:
“Unequivocally they’re using the money they’re providing the universities to garner influence there. It’s not the sole motive, but it’s one of a variety of motives.”
According to reports, foreign money has poured into the ivy league school over the past few years with a significant portion coming from China. They received $61 million in gifts and contracts from China between March 2017 and the end of 2019.
In the four years prior, from 2013, the university received $19 million from Chinese donors.

Freeman said:
“It is difficult to determine whether Chinese businesses are truly independent of the government. Even some of the contributions that we’re seeing ostensibly coming from Chinese businesses or Chinese charitable institutions to some degree or another they are still connected to the Chinese government.”
He also said:
“I think the most extreme concern about China is that they’re trying to garner influence on American campuses to gain access to our leading scholars and to gain access to what really at the end of the day is our intellectual property, our intellectual knowledge.”
Meanwhile, the US Communist Party has endorsed Joe Biden for President of the United States. Here’s Law Enforcement Today’s recent report on that.
The head of the US communist party has come out in support of Joe Biden for President.
Bob Akavian, leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA, asked voters to:
“deliver a decisive defeat to Trump and the whole fascist regime.”
Avakian, who has led the group since 1979, said in a statement:
“At this critical hour, every appropriate means of non-violent action must be utilized to remove this regime from power,”
He goes on to say:
“And if, in spite of mass protest demanding the removal of the Trump/Pence regime, this regime remains in power when it is time for voting, then — using all appropriate means to work for the removal of this regime must include voting against Trump.”
Avakian, 77, underscored to his followers the importance of backing Biden – and not because he is a fan of the former vice president.
He told his followers in an email, that ousting President Trump is too important of a goal to miss, so they should vote for Democratic candidate Joseph R. Biden.
Mr. Avakian, a controversial figure who over the decades has backed violent fringe movements all over the world, said that means no protest votes for third-party or independent candidates. Mr. Biden must be the pick of the far left.
When discussing Biden and the Democratic Party, he said they are:
“representatives and instruments of this exploitative, oppressive, and literally murderous system of capitalism-imperialism.”
And followed that up with saying:
“But Mr. Trump and the Republicans are even worse”
That’s quite and endorsement for the Biden campaign, whose voters consist of “Orange Man Bad” scholars, and whose supporters are attempting to engage in the type of auto-genocide perpetrated by Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia during the later half of the 1970s.
Like so many revolutions, the Cuban revolution began with a movement to change for the better. Women’s rights were touted, as were better health care, and universal education. Of course, like so many revolutionaries, Castro was not too democracy oriented.
By the mid ’60s Cuba was under a dictatorship, dissidents jailed or killed as the Castro cult blossomed. And the people fled. The populations of Miami and Tampa speaks to that. They fled in droves.
And now the party which aligns itself with the people pictured above, want to add Joe Biden to their ranks. They want to take a prosperous and free nation filled with individual liberties, and turn it into a rotting cesspool of prisons filled with not criminals, but those with differing ideals.
A rotting cesspool where only the very wealthy have any liberties and the “common masses” are relegated to government ghettos with no way out.
One can only hope that this endorsement opens the eyes of these “common masses”. Because it didn’t take too long for this to become the “norm” in Cuba and Joe Biden is their choice to bring it here.
In the meantime, recent video reveals U.S. Senate transcript of Joe Biden using the N-word 13 times in a 1985 hearing series. Joe Biden is the presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee and the former U.S. Vice President to former President Barack Obama.
According to Breitbart, video of one such instance where Biden used the N-word when quoting someone else already surfaced in June. Now again, video of him using the derogatory multiple times in one hearing has surfaced.
The Senate hearing series in which Biden repeatedly used the offensive term was when he was questioning William Reynolds, then-President Ronald Reagan’s assistant attorney general for civil rights. During this time, Reynolds was also under consideration for a promotion to become the next associate attorney general.
According to reports, in his conversation with Reynolds, Biden was asking him about his role in providing clearance for a redistricting plan in Louisiana that the courts later struck down.
A memo was submitted to Reynolds before he approved the redistricting plan and on that memo was a racist quote from someone described as a “key legislator” in defeating the alternative redistricting plan.
According this memo, that “key legislator”, then-Republican Rep. Charles Emile Bruneau of New Orleans, allegedly said he opposed the left’s desired redistricting plan for Louisiana in starkly terms and used the N-word more than once in his memo.
When Biden questioned Reynolds about this in the 1985 hearings, he repeatedly brought up this exact quote and kept using the N-word. According to the U.S. Senate transcripts from that hearing, Biden used the N-word for a total of 13 times. These hearings stretched over a couple of days.
According to the transcripts, the first instance occurred during the morning of June 4, 1985, when Biden used the offensive term twice. The again, on June 5th, Biden recited the derogatory term from the quote twice.
Some video that is circulating of the transcripts from those 1985 hearings has left out the context that includes proof Biden was not actually using the N-word himself, but instead quoting someone else (then Rep. Charles Emile) saying it.
The question remains, should a politician be using offensive terms whether they are quoting someone or not? Is this acceptable, or not? In another instance, Senator Bernie Williams of Vermont, faced questions last year over his use of the N-word in his book, Outsider in the House in 1997. He was questioned heavily from leftists and other Democrats on Twitter.
Ridiculous defense. Sanders wasn't critiquing racism – he was excusing it in the pursuit of an economic argument. And the use of the N word was gratuitous, and wildly unecessary. He was quoting no one. https://t.co/fhbCl98Z2e

MSNBC’s Joey Reid has repeatedly argued that it is never acceptable for white men to use the N-word even when quoting someone else. Apparently she considers herself the moral authority on what’s right and wrong.
Biden is scheduled to appear on Reid’s new primetime program, The Reidout, in the near future. Right now, it is unclear if she will ask him about this.
Perhaps the most important "I have a black friend" rule just stated on @MHPshow: you don't get to use the n-word. Nope. Never. #nerdland
— Joy Reid (@JoyAnnReid) August 11, 2013
Reid has been known to call out other politicians, including former U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) when they have used the offensive term. Reid has a long history of being opposed to any white person using the N-word in any context, even if quoting someone else. Which is, some might argue, ironically discriminatory in itself.

Back in 2016, during the presidential elections, Reid floated the possibility of a tape of President Donald Trump saying the racist term. This tape has never materialized despite the constant rumors from the media and the left. But of course there were a lot of accusations that were made that never materialized.

Even though the rumored tape on President Trump never surfaced, Reid’s guest to debut her new primetime show is Joe Biden and as of now she has plenty of evidence of Biden using the term.
Just two weeks ago, Biden made a controversial, “you ain’t black” blunder, which caused widespread outrage. He told The Breakfast Club listeners:
“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, they you ain’t black.”
Putting the above quote in context, Biden was discussing undecided black voters who do not know whether to support him or President Donald Trump this November when he made the remark. According to the U.S. Sun, Biden said he should have not been so cavalier, but he insisted that he was not the only “wise guy” last week. He said:
“He was being a wise guy and I responded in kind. I shouldn’t have done that. It was a mistake.”
@JoeBiden @realDonaldTrump Thanks for clarifying that Biden represents the DNC especially w/ his ‘You ain’t black’ comment. It was the DNC that instituted Jim Crow laws so why wouldn’t Biden continue this trend? https://t.co/ffZ8reim6B
— Amelia (@amelia_co2017) July 20, 2020
He reiterated that he would never, never take the black vote for granted and that:
“He has worked like the devil for it and have to earn it every time.”
Biden’s campaign has not responded to media and news outlets requests for comments.
