A woman in Queens reportedly leapt from the window of her assailant’s apartment to escape what police say was a 6-hour ordeal.
According to reports, 53-year-old Michael Hosang brutally raped a woman in his New York City apartment for hours on end on Thursday. Authorities noted that the victim had been repeatedly punched in the face causing at least one fracture, but that she was able to escape by jumping through a window in the suspect’s apartment.
The victim was just 29-years-old, police said. Hosang allegedly violently and repeatedly raped her a number of times over a 6-hour period, from around 6am to 12pm on Thursday.

The suspect’s apartment is located in Jamaica on 224th Street and 130th Avenue in Queens.
On Saturday, police released the photo and identity of the man they say committed the horrific attack.
Reports described Hosang as around 5-foot-10, 200 pounds and bald with brown eyes. Authorities are still on the hunt for Hosang, who reportedly escaped in a red Chevrolet with a Florida license plate reading JZEY32.
