NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 31-year-old woman was reportedly attacked on the evening of January 18th by three men after she had just patronized a liquor store in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City.

From what the woman said of the attack, she described one of the three men as being “an animal” due to him allegedly trying to bite her eye out.

Surveillance video shows that the encounter transpired just before 6:00 p.m. on the evening of January 18th.

The 31-year-old victim says that she went to a liquor store located on West 128th St and Saint Nicholas Ave to go purchase some wine, when two men from a group outside the liquor store walked into the shop after she’d entered.

After the two men entered the liquor store, the victim said that a man wearing a red parka had tried to offer to pay for her items which she said she kindly refused:

“I politely declined, and I said no thank you, but thank you, I can pay for it myself. And I got ready to walk out. Before I walk out, he basically said that he felt like I thought I was better than them.”

Video footage that was captured outside of the liquor store shows the two men following her outside and joining a third suspect outside, reportedly continuing to accost the woman.

While audio was not captured during this interaction, the woman said that the men from the liquor store were asking her what she was ‘going to do about it,’ in which she realized they were provoking a fight after they were seemingly offended by the in-store interaction:

“I just asked him, I said, ‘you’re seriously trying to fight me? I’m trying to go about my business.’”

As seen in the video released by authorities, the men began to chase the victim – tossing her around, punching, and kicking her.

From what the victim says of the encounter, one of the men actually bit her on her forehead – causing a significant wound – and making it so she’s currently unable to open her eye.

The victim proclaims that the man attempted to bite her eye out:

“To bite me and do that – maul me the way that he did – with me screaming, and saying I’m just trying to get my daughter. That – that’s an animal. That’s not a person.”

Witnesses on the scene called 911, and the woman was transported over to NYC Health+Hospitals Harlem and was reported in stable condition following the attack.

At one point during the attack, the victim stated that she had dropped her iPhone and when she attempted to grab it, one of the attackers allegedly yanked it from her hand:

“He pried the phone out my hand, and he said give me your phone bitch.”

Currently no arrests have been reportedly made, but the NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in helping track down and identify the attackers from this incident.

NEW YORK CITY, NY– With New York City seeming like the wild west lately, it is not surprising that violent crimes are not only taking place at night, but also taking place in broad daylight as well.

Law Enforcement Today has reported on multiple crimes over the past several months that have taken place during the day, without any fear of repercussion.

Now, another brazen attack has taken place in the city’s East Village in broad daylight. This time, several muggers allegedly punched a victim so hard that they fractured his jaw in the attack.

On Wednesday, January 13th, the New York Police Department released a video showing the incident, where the muggers allegedly stole the victim’s cell phone in the attack as well.

As police have reported, and can be seen in the video below, the suspects surrounded their victim before punching him around, 12:40 p.m., between 1st Avenue and East 3rd Street.

The video shows the victim on the floor being beaten for most of the attack, and just when the victim is about to get up, the victim is seen being hit in the face and knocked to the ground once again.

According to Breitbart, the suspects took off with the victim’s cell phone and fled in the direction of East 3rd Street, police said.

The New York Post reported that the victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital with a fractured jaw in stable condition. As of this reporting, the attackers are still at large.
