Police release pictures of murder suspect in shooting death of rapper in Texas – killer on the run

DALLAS, TX – Rapper Mo3, who’s real name is Melvin Nobles, was shot and killed on an interstate in Dallas, Texas on November 11th.  Now, police are releasing pictures of the armed assailant, right before he shot and killed the man.

The pictures show a black male, wearing jeans, light blue shirt with a dark shirt over it running on the interstate.  The man is armed with a gun and wearing a black ski mask.

Dallas Police reported that the incident occurred on the 11th just before noon on Interstate 35 between Illinois Avenue and Clarendon Drive.  Police say that the black male was driving a black 2014-2015 Chevy Camaro.

According to TMZ, Nobles noticed that he was being followed by someone after he left a friend’s house.  In an attempt to get away, Nobles entered onto I35 and ended up crashing.

The unknown suspect then exited his car armed with a gun and ran towards Nobles.  Nobles exited his car and ran away as the suspect pursued him down the interstate.  At some point, the suspect fired and struck Nobles in the back of the head and injured a bystander.

As Nobles collapsed on the busy road, the killer ran back to his vehicle and fled.

Police and medics responded to the shooting and transported both Nobles and the unidentified, innocent bystander to a local hospital.  The bystander is said to have been treated for non-life-threatening injuries while Nobles succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Fans of the rapper, according to TMZ, have made a strange connection between truth in fiction with a video Nobles had done for a song titled “True Story” in 2017.

In that video, Nobles is seen laying on a table in a morgue with the medical examiner stating she was working on a “rapper who got shot in his own city.”

In another shooting of a rapper that is somehow tied to Nobles, Boosie Badazz, who’s real name is Torrence Ivy Hatch, Jr, was shot in the leg days after Nobles was gunned down.

Hatch was driving near a strip mall called Bit T’s plaza on November 14th when someone opened fire on the vehicle he was in, striking Hatch in the leg.  The shooter(s) then fled the scene.

Hatch was transported to the hospital where he later underwent surgery.  He was released and is said to be resting at home.

Police in Dallas reported that there appears to be some type of feud between rival rappers, but did not say who the feud was with or why they believe that.  Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall said:

“There are other shootings loosely related to the Mo3 shooting.”

Hall has stated that she has requested the FBI respond and assist with the “rapper conflict.”

The Dallas area has seen 11 shootings over the course of the last weekend.  In all of those shootings, eight people died, all within the span of 48 hours.

Police are asking anyone with any information related to any of the shootings to call Detective Chris Anderson with the Dallas Police Department.  He can be reached at 214 671-3616 or by email at [email protected]

Protesters say ‘King Von’ was shot and killed by Atlanta police. Now the truth is out.

ATLANTA, GA- On Friday, November 6th, Atlanta police responded to a shots fired call at Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge at around 3 a.m.

According to initial reports from hnhh, a fight outside of Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge resulted in gunfire, leading to two people being fatally shot.

An argument between two groups, reportedly King Von and Quando Rondo‘s crews, took place outside of the club. Two people have been confirmed dead, and multiple others were injured.

Atlanta police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek said in a statement:

“That physical altercation escalated into an exchange of gunfire with those groups,”

He continued:

“Two police officers who were working at that particular club, or lounge, noticed the altercation and engaged some of the people involved. There was an exchange of gunfire with police as well.”

When news of the incident broke, many took to social media spreading false information that Von was shot by police at the club.

Hnhh reported that word spread fast alleging there was audio of police dispatch in the Chicago area that surfaced on social media, seemingly confirming that Von was fatally shot by the police.

Social media alleged that a Chicago-area officer said in the leaked audio:

“Last night in Atlanta, police shot King Von and two of his people. Social media is active with– they’re upset with the police,”

It was then spread that another officer warned her fellow officers:

“There was a police shooting in Atlanta last night and right now they’re not happy with the police. Use caution out there,”

Now, Atlanta police have confirmed that Von was in fact not shot by police.

In a statement to People, the Atlanta police department says:

“It is our understanding Dayvon Bennett, a.k.a. King Von, was shot and killed during this morning’s shooting. Additionally, Mr. Bennett was not located at the scene, but arrived at a hospital shortly after the shooting, via private vehicle. The investigation into this incident remains open and very active.”

It is reported that police think Von was shot during the initial shoot-out that took place at the club between the two groups. That would mean that Von was shot before police even arrived at the scene.

The 26 year-old-rapper was said to be in critical condition at the time he arrived at the hospital, but ultimately did not survive his injuries.

DJ Akademiks claims to have had a conversation with King Von’s manager, who was also shot and is recovering in the hospital, who disputes that it was the police who shot Von, hnhh reported

Quando Rondo has not issued a statement on what happened and his current condition is unclear.
