Every now and then a new product grabs your attention and “wow” is all you can say. PerpAlert® is that product. When viewing new items on the market, I expect performance, cost efficiency, and favorable results; otherwise I’m not interested. And I better come to that conclusion quickly because the world is full of clever creations.

I’m writing this feature as both a dad and police commander since the product provides the simplest mobile security system for people while offering digital evidence to law enforcement, all with a straightforward downloadable app on your smartphone.

If your loved one fears danger, a simple touch of the app activates the camera and takes three photos in rapid succession with no other activity required by the user. The pictures, along with their GPS coordinates are automatically sent to three previously determined people via email. A pre-written text message soliciting help can also be sent. The loved one receiving the alert can call to determine the safety of the one who activated the app. If they cannot reach this person, help can be sent and pictures are held documenting the contact.

In the worst case scenario, the user can also activate the 911 feature built into the app. In either case, photographs are captured and sent along with GPS coordinates. If it’s a false alarm, the user can notify receivers of this information to confirm everything is alright. If things have gone wrong, help will be on the way and documentary evidence has been preserved electronically. There is nothing the perpetrator can do about it—even if the phone is taken or destroyed.

There is a learning curve with most new products. Not with PerpAlert®. Once it is established as an app on your phone, you simply press the icon. Seriously! It is that simple! Anyone who knows how to open an app is already trained to use PerpAlert®.

As a husband and father, I couldn’t ask for a simpler, more cost efficient security feature for a loved one. As a law enforcement professional, I appreciate the evidentiary value gained from the program. It can easily mean the difference between solving a crime or suspending the investigation due to insufficient leads.

I’m sold on PerpAlert®. I think it’s fantastic, and although I’ve endorsed the product since I firmly believe in it, I receive no compensation for my perspective.

As a police commander, I always looked for products to give me “bang for my buck.” With PerpAlert® you will receive tremendous satisfaction at the introductory price of $1.99 – 12 month subscription with the annual renewal priced at $0.99.

I view PerpAlert® as a mobile security system. It provides peace of mind for those at home and CSI on the fly for those who need it in a pinch. All for the cost of a cup of coffee!
