Editorial: Pelosi blames COVID-19 deaths on President Trump. It’s time to remove her from office.

In one of the largest displays of ironic hypocrisy to date, on CNN’s Sunday show “State of the Union,” Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, claimed that President Trump was “fiddling” with things as people were dying from the Wuhan virus, and that his delays cost lives.

The Speaker stated:

“First let me say how sad it is that even since the president’s signing of the bill, the number of deaths reported has doubled from 1,000 to 2,000 in our country. This is such a very, very sad time for us. We should be taking every precaution.

The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly. His delaying of getting equipment to where it — his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly.

Now the best thing to do would be to prevent more loss of life rather than open things up because we just don’t know. We have to have testing, testing, testing.

That’s what we said from the start before we can evaluate what the nature of it is in some of these other regions as well. I don’t know what the purpose of that is.

I don’t know what the scientists are saying to him. I don’t know what the scientists said to him, when did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know, and when did he know it?

That’s for an after-action review. But as the president fiddles, people are dying.”

Someone in Nancy’s circle should remind her that in December and January when the COVID-19 situation began to become known, President Trump was already talking to experts and considering measures to reduce the impact on the United States.

She and her party were still crying “impeachment” and playing on-again, off-again with the Articles of Impeachment and hearings involved in the process.

CNN Host Jake Tapper dropped an incredibly leading question right into her lap, again playing Democratic shill, when he asked:

“Speaker Pelosi when you say the president’s denial was deadly, he obviously downplayed the risks of [COVID-19] for several weeks, and it wasn’t until I think about two weeks ago that he started acknowledging the gravity of the crisis. Are you saying his downplaying ultimately cost American lives?”

Pelosi caught the pass thrown by “quarterback” Tapper and replied:

“Yes, I am. I’m saying that because when he made — the other day, when he was signing the bill, he said, just think, 20 days ago everything was great.

No, everything wasn’t great. We had nearly 500 cases and 17 deaths already. And in that 20 days, because we weren’t prepared, we now have 2,000 deaths and 100,000 cases.

So again, we really want to work in a unifying way to get the job done here. But we cannot continue to allow him to continue to make these underestimates of what is actually happening here. This is such a tragedy, and we don’t even know the magnitude of it because we do not have the adequate testing.

Our first bill was about testing, testing, testing. The second bill was about masks, masks, masks. Of course, both of them were about addressing the emergency.”

In another related act of ironic hypocrisy, Pelosi got her team to trash the original stimulus plan and added more than $5 trillion in completely unrelated and unsubstantiated items that closely follow the “New Green Deal” and typical liberal agenda playbook.  Billions of dollars earmarked for things like aircraft emissions.

To remind you, that original bill, that would become the CARES Act, had $300,000,000 set aside for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) to “prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.” Of that amount, $50,000,000 was to be used to support the public television system.

Of course, PBS also owns National Public Radio (NPR), an increasingly left-leaning group that has proven to be a DNC propaganda machine.  How very convenient.

The bill had $236,000,000 for the Internal revenue Service (IRS) to help prepare “taxpayer services.”  Isn’t that their job on a regular basis?

The Institute for Museum and Library Services was to be given $500,000,000.  For facilities that are currently closed to the public.

The Department of State Migration and Refugee Assistance Program was allotted $300,000,000 for assisting migrants.  I’ll just leave a (?) on that one.

Add to all of that $33,200,000 for the Oceanic Institute, $100,000,00 for NASA (another (?)), and $100,000,000 for the “construction and environmental compliance.”

Add in two more conundrums with $90,000,000 for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and $35,000,000 for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  The Kennedy Center is closed – why do they need $35,000,000? On top of that, why did the lay off their musicians AFTER being told they would receive the money. That’s even more suspicious.

The biggest question and catch-22 here is that while Pelosi is out blasting the President for delaying, or “fiddling” around, dems were busy messing with the stimulus check bill for Americans.

While people were dying, when he proposed the stimulus scenario, democrats were quick to fill it full of unrelated fluff that fits their agenda instead of pushing things through quickly in a streamlined bill designed to get help where it was needed – to the American people.

While President Trump was talking to medical experts and foreign leaders back in December and January, Pelosi and her crew were still in a fervor over impeachment.

Still, liberals will be in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi, despite the dishonest and hypocritical nature of her words and actions and will still accuse Trump supporters of ignoring his “many” misdeeds.

Common sense is lacking on the left, but it only takes a little to see who has the best interest of the American people in their eyes and in their hearts.
