NEW YORK, NY- When it comes to unhinged lunatics with Trump Derangement Syndrome, there are many to choose from. From Rosie O’Donnell to Joy Behar to Alyssa Milano, there are just so many screaming banshees to choose from it is virtually impossible to pick the worst.
However, one of the worst offenders, and someone who is seriously in need of some type of intervention, is Keith Olbermann.
Remember Olbermann? He has slid into irrelevance after he left ESPN, for a second time, before the woke network, bleeding viewers and revenue, could lay him off along with a number of other employees. Prior to working at ESPN, Olbermann worked for Obama state television MSNBC, where his nightly diatribes soon wore thin.
At one time, Olbermann was actually entertaining, back in the days when he co-hosted SportsCenter on ESPN with Dan Patrick. However, Olbermann’s welcome at the then-sports network soon wore out and the two separated ways.
Since leaving ESPN, for a second time, Olbermann has been reduced to producing videos on YouTube. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
In Olbermann’s latest unhinged display of lunacy, he went on a tirade where he called for the conversion of Trump-owned properties, including hotels, into prisons for those who backed President Trump. Yes, he said that.
Olbermann joins a chorus of far-left nutjobs, such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Robert B. Reich, in suggesting that Trump supporters be subject to some type of reeducation camps for supporting the president.
Where exactly these reeducation camps for over 74 million people would be located is up for debate, however Olbermann apparently thinks he has a solution for at least part of that number.
Olbermann gives the impression of a sad, depraved man.
He resembles something of a modern day Howard Beale, a character from the 1976 movie, Network, who goes on an unhinged rant, yelling out, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Beale appears with his hair disheveled, eyes bugging out, sweat pouring from him as he speaks the now famous words.
One could easily see Olbermann, glasses fogging up, his gray hair wet with sweat pouring down his face, ranting to his 100-plus thousand subscribers about the evil orange man and his evil followers.
The fact that there are actually 137,000 subscribers who tune in to watch this madman probably says more about those people than it does about Olbermann. However, perhaps, some of those viewers subscribe to watch how absolutely derelict some of these Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers are.
In the latest incarnation of “Olbermann Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” he went on a rant about, who else, Trump and Trump supporters. In a Thanksgiving message, the messenger of gloom and doom said that policy differences should be criminalized:
“Goddammit! When the policy differences are between maintaining American democracy and substituting racist, one party rule. You’re goddamn right, we want to criminalize policy differences that might exist between the outgoing administration and the administration that is about to take over.”

Remember Biden saying he wants to “bring the country together?” Apparently, people like Olbermann have no interest in doing so. What used to be a matter of opposing viewpoints being accepted and appreciated, viewed as the hallmarks of a representative Republic where all points of view are considered, Olbermann instead advocates groupthink.

“We also want as many members of this corrupt, immoral, anti-democratic outgoing administration indicted, arrested, tried and imprisoned. We want enough of them in there they can hold reunions and birthday parties.”
Olbermann has also apparently suggested—no demanded—the arrest of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. For what exactly, we don’t know. Speaking the truth about Democrats maybe? Who knows?
Last week, Olbermann asked why Trump supporters weren’t already in prison during a rant.

From the Washington Examiner:
“Political commentator Keith Olbermann accused supporters of President Trump of committing ‘treason against humanity’ and suggested they should be imprisoned
‘History will also ask what was in the hearts of the men and women who continued to support this creature Trump after his defeat, after his repudiation, after the national wildfire that was COVID-19 accelerated into this hellscape of conflagration in the days after the 20202 election,’ Olbermann said this week.
‘Who let Trump stay manifestly insane as he is in office? Who refused to risk anything? Who refused to risk even a momentary loss of power to instead be certain death ruled this nation?’
“Olbermann continued: ‘Who are these people? Did you put them on trial? Did any of them go to prison?”
“What did you do to Trump after it was clear he knew what was ahead and lied, and lied, and lied, and lied, and lied? What did you do to ensure that no kind of leader could commit this treason again? And not against the country, treason against humanity?’”
Poor Olbermann, a sad, pathetic old man who has faded into irrelevance after yapping his way out of a prime-time role on ESPN’s flagship program, SportsCenter, then finding his way over to DNC/Obama state television at MSNBC, where he also torched what he had for a reputation and was forced out.
In looking at Olbermann and his terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, one gets the impression that all of this ranting and raving at Trump and anyone who supports him is just a little bit personal.
Apparently at one time Olbermann owned a condo at the Trump Palace in Manhattan. Maybe he had a plugged drain, or probably toilet since he’s so full of you know what, that was clogged and maintenance was too slow to fix it.
Whatever, this seems to take on a personal vendetta.
No matter, it is amusing to watch Olbermann, eyes bugging out, foam seeping from his mouth, veins popping out on his forehead and his neck going off on a rant about President Trump and his supporters. You almost have to feel sorry for him as his career dissipation light continues to burn brightly.
It’s hard to believe that anyone could ever become more irrelevant than being a host on MSNBC, but yet here Olbermann is. Hopefully, someone, like maybe Dr. Phil, could stage an intervention for poor old Keith. Before one day, his head explodes…literally…on YouTube.
