INDIANAPOLIS – What is so difficult about getting an official photo taken with a police service dog (PSD)? Nothing until the slobbery affection begins.
We have Indiana Conservation Officer Levi Knach with his K-9 partner, Kenobi to thank as Exhibit A.
But while Knach tried to play things straight, Kenobi’s playful nature and affection for his handler got the best of him, reported KDVR.
Indiana State Parks posted four photos on Facebook of the adorable portrait session involving Knach and Kenobi. Knach couldn’t help but break out into a smile as Kenobi licked his face, leaving his hat tilted in one of the photos.
Indiana State Parks provided the following details regarding the attempt at the official photo:
Indiana Conservation Officer Levi Knach and his K-9 partner Kenobi show some puppy love in their portrait “attempt.” Officer Knach works in DNR Law Enforcement District 2. Kenobi is cute, but make no mistake – he is a trained, working officer and can track people and locate a variety of objects ranging from venison to ginseng. We are grateful for the work that our ICOs do all over the state to protect and serve people and to conserve our fish and wildlife resources.
LET would like to thank Officer Knach and PSD Kenobi for the smiles today!
