Exclusive: Obama-tied lawyers, judge target and try to bankrupt patriotic Americans who drove by Biden bus in Texas

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – From the moment that Donald J. Trump rode down the escalator announcing his candidacy, we have seen the left crying from the mountaintops that he must be stopped.

It wasn’t long before they started going after his entire administration.

When that didn’t work, they turned their attention toward canceling his supporters in the movie, television, music and entertainment industries.

Not satisfied, they decided it was time to take out the common man. All they needed was someone to identify themselves as part of that dreaded “MAGA crowd”.

Enter a handful of God-fearing, American-loving, hard-working Texans.

All it took was a campaign bus, a handful of pick-up trucks and a mess of Trump flags. And the George Soros-backed left went to work on suing everyday Americans into oblivion, or at the very least, bankruptcy.

And this is where this story begins.

In October of 2020, just before the presidential election that Joe Biden claims landed him more than 81 million “legitimate” votes, a Biden-Harris campaign bus decided to wander through the heart of Texas.

Plaintiffs (keep reading) present that day are Wendy Davis, a Democrat politician from Fort Worth; Eric Cervini, author and LGBTQ+ activist; David Gins, now the Deputy Director for Operations for Vice President Kamala Harris; and Timothy Holloway, the bus driver.

A group of conservative Texans jumped into their pickups adorned with the Stars and Stripes and Trump flags and made their way up I-35 hoping to drive alongside of that bus and maybe make the news in their show of support for President Trump.

Now, five members of that Trump Train are facing a civil lawsuit based entirely in an attempt to bankrupt them.

Law Enforcement Today was able to sit down with one of the families who liberals are trying to destroy, simply for their love of country and support for Donald J Trump.

Robert and Joeylynn Mesaros have been married now for 16 years and have a son. Prior to that 2020 election, they had never really gotten involved in politics, at least not publicly.

But something resonated with the Texas couple, and they decided to be more vocal about how things were going in our nation.

At the last minute, they heard that the Biden bus was coming through their area and was traveling along a side a processional of Trump supporting Texans. And they thought it would be fun to join the caravan.

They grabbed their flags, jumped in Robert’s F-150 Platinum, and headed to I-35 to await the procession. The family drove alongside of the bus, on a public road, adorned in political campaign signage, just like the Biden bus. T

hat’s it, nothing more took place that day, though the plaintiffs claim in their frivolous lawsuit that the caravan banded together on a public highway to suppress black/minority voter rights with a premeditated plan of assaulted to run the bus off the road.

Here is Joeylynn’s quick overview of what happened that day and, in the days, since.

As Joeylynn mentioned, they are being sued under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871.

You might be wondering what that is. So were we.

Here is Count #1 form the lawsuit, which claimed that the New Braunfels trump Train was a coordinated ambush of the campaign bus.

“Defendants Cisneros, Ceh, Joeylynn Mesaros, Robert Mesaros, Park and John/Jane Does violated 42 U.S.C. § 1985(3) by conspiring with each other and others to knowingly intimidate constitutionally eligible voters by physically assaulting, threatening, and harassing Plaintiffs while driving on I-35.”

So here is what the KKK act of 1871 actually says.

Also known as the Enforcement Act, it “was designed to eliminate extralegal violence and protect the civil and political rights of four million freed slaves,” according to the US House of Representatives Archive website.

Yes, that is how old this law is. It is only found in the House Archives.

The entire lawsuit hinges on Section 3 of the Act.

“If two or more persons in any State or Territory conspire or go in disguise on the highway or on the premises of another, for the purpose of depriving, either directly or indirectly, any person or class of persons of the equal protection of the laws, or of equal privileges and immunities under the laws; or for the purpose of preventing or hindering the constituted authorities of any State or Territory from giving or securing to all persons within such State or Territory the equal protection of the laws; or if two or more persons conspire to prevent by force, intimidation, or threat, any citizen who is lawfully entitled to vote, from giving his support or advocacy in a legal manner, toward or in favor of the election of any lawfully qualified person as an elector for President or Vice President, or as a Member of Congress of the United States; or to injure any citizen in person or property on account of such support or advocacy; in any case of conspiracy set forth in this section, if one or more persons engaged therein do, or cause to be done, any act in furtherance of the object of such conspiracy, whereby another is injured in his person or property, or deprived of having and exercising any right or privilege of a citizen of the United States, the party so injured or deprived may have an action for the recovery of damages occasioned by such injury or deprivation, against any one or more of the conspirators.”

So, in essence, the individuals on the bus and in the staffer vehicle got their soft little feelings hurt (injury) and felt they could not safely support the candidates of their choice (those are the writer’s words…not the defendants).

As such, they, along with the liberal mainstream media have deemed the Mesaros and the other defendants as domestic terrorists.

We must pause to say that much of the video from that day has been scrubbed from the web. But, the one video available on YouTube headlines the coverage as an ambush.

In the video above, they claim that the Trump trucks attempted to force the bus to stop on the freeway. They also show the tail end of an accident between a truck (not the Mesaroses) and the staffer vehicle. Again, they show us what they want us to see.

With all the video scrubbed, how can the Mesaros prove anything?

Luckily, they have their own video that shows the entirety of the sideswipe that shows the white vehicle trying to merge back behind the bus, where the black truck driven by “Cisco” had already established their presence in the lane.

While they want to claim that the truck aggressively hit the small SUV, the reality is that the Biden campaign staffer steered into the truck causing the accident.

It was just after this point that Joeylynn and Robert pulled off the freeway to fix one of their flags which was about to fall off their truck.

The staffer vehicle, who claimed to be driving the way they were to protect the bus’s blind spot, pulled onto the shoulder as well and parked near the Mesaroses to assess the damage to their vehicle.

At one point, one of the bus occupants, Eric Cervini, called 911. New Braunfels police responded and provided an escort for the bus through until they reached city limits. NBPD Later made a statement saying everything was found to be in order and of no concern.

San Marcos police did not have patrol cars available to send for a last-minute request for escort. The city of San Marcos and the police department are now being sued by the plaintiffs under the same KKK Act.

While they were still parked, a San Marcos police officer made contact with the couple and asked if everything was okay. They explained who they are, what they were doing and why they had pulled off the freeway. The officer told them to be careful, got in his vehicle and drove away.

This seems to support Joeylynn’s continuing argument that they had broken no laws.

Sadly, the truth has never kept liberals from saying what they wanted to say, regardless of how far-fetched it may be.

They were scared and felt intimidated. So, the truck driving Trumpers were all terrorists.

Eight months later, the defendants were served with the lawsuit.

The defendants filed a motion to dismiss, which was declined by the Obama-appointed judge.

The plaintiffs then filed a protective order after The Mesaroses went public with what was happening on podcasts and small radio shows, claiming they were concerned they would start to receive large amounts of threatening and harassing messages due to their high-profile presence after receiving a couple of messages.

Another reason they gave for the protective order filing was “public disclosure of Plaintiffs’ personal contact or home address information is likely to result in harassment, which will cause Plaintiffs not only embarrassment, but possibly physical danger. This factor weighs strongly in Plaintiffs’ favor.”

That is ironic given the number of threatening and harassing messages that Joeylynn and others were receiving. Here are just a few of them (all screenshots provided by Joeylynn Mesaros).

We purposefully left out the viler posts that referenced prison rape.

But, back to the protective order. The judge approved the plaintiff’s motion.

It essentially created a scenario where the plaintiff’s attorneys do not have to share any information with the defense attorneys. This became about so much more than just addresses and phone numbers being leaked.

And speaking of attorneys…that is an aspect that needs to be addressed.

The plaintiffs are sharing a legal team. The defendants had to secure their own defense.

The liberals on the bus have a team of 18 attorneys from at least 3 separate legal firms, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, The Protect Democracy Project, and the Texas Civil Rights Project.

The Texas Civil Rights Project is a dba for Oficina Legal Del Pueblo Unido, Inc., and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Their 2020 tax returns showed that they received more than $10M in contributions and grants.

Oh, by the way, the Texas Civil Rights Project posted about the lawsuit on their website, using a cartoon to depict the Mesaros as Confederate flag waving racists.

So, somehow, this case became about an intentional and deliberate effort to scare black voters away from the voting booths in the 2020 election.

Did we mention, that of the four plaintiffs, three are white?

The Protect Democracy Project is also a non-profit that claims to be nonpartisan.

According to their website:

“The Protect Democracy Project was conceived by a group of former White House and Administration lawyers and experienced constitutional litigators, all with a deep understanding of how the federal government works.

As we were the ones tasked with implementing and enforcing the norms that govern our democracy, we know what those guardrails are and when those in power may be tempted to violate them.

To assist with our efforts to educate and inform the public, we have brought together experienced communications professionals, as well as a network that spans former officials throughout government and grassroots groups around the country.

We are also working with expert scholars on authoritarian regimes.”

Notice that they did not identify which administration they were a part of, but they did not state that they spanned multiple administrations.

It might be safe to assume that these lawyers all served in the White House or across other governmental agencies spanning a single administration.

Given that they are representing a group of liberals suing hard-working patriots under an archaic law, it could also be surmised which way they lean…and it is not nonpartisan.

Here is a quick breakdown of the team from the Project involved in this case. A quick search shows that most of these individuals served during the Obama administration.

The co-founders of the Project are Ian Bassin, who was Associate White House Counsel under Obama, and Justin Florence, who served as Special Assistant to the President and Associate Counsel to the President in that same Obama presidency.

Earlier this year, Bassin was named one of the 500 most influential people in Washington, DC.

Starting to see a pattern? This is basically the Obama dream team of legal representation.

Anne Tindall has been specializing in cases that violate, wait for it, the Ku Klux Klan Act…which was resurrected during the Trump Administration to sue him and his supporters for allegedly being racists and white supremacists.

Ben Berwick is a former DOJ attorney who has led “major efforts to ensure that the president is not above accountability and that the Department of Justice is not politicized.

Ben is also a lecturer at Harvard Law School, where he co-teaches the Democracy and the Rule of Law clinic,” according to the project’s website.

Cerin Lindgrensavage has worked towards reforms to prevent the abuse of executive power.  Makes you wonder where she stood on the 41 Executive Orders that Biden signed his first day in office.

Sadly, we are not done.

Jacek Pruski was a DOJ lawyer and served in legal capacities in the White House and the Department of Education.

In what might be the most damning piece of information to tell you exactly who these people are going after these America-loving patriots, we present to you Jared Davidson. Before joining the Project, Davidson was a senior attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center, “where he led litigation and advocacy to reform America’s immigration and criminal law systems.”

Orion Danjuma spent six years with the “ACLU’s Racial Justice Program focusing on the impact of legal financial obligations on vulnerable communities, as well as issues at the intersection of voting rights and racial justice.”

These six, along with 2 other staff attorneys make up nearly half of the legal team that the plaintiffs have at their disposal.

Meanwhile, the common man and woman is forced to hire out of their own pockets.

Hence the reason for the fundraising campaign that the Mesaros are running. For our readers interested in contributing to their defense efforts, you can donate here.

You can also keep up with their story, and even grab some of their Biden is the Wurst apparel, should you choose to do so at their website, Free Speech Defender.

Please do not let the amount of money currently raised dissuade anyone from contributing, should you feel led.

This is simply the first round. To date, the motion to dismiss and the filings to oppose the protective order, along with other legal fees have run the family close to $100,000 and they have not even been to trial.

Robert had to cash in his 401K to support the effort to defend and eventually clear their good name.

Incidentally, numerous members of the defendant’s group in this lawsuit are considering a countersuit given the slanderous nature of the accusations levied against them.

They also, after seeing how difficult it is to find free speech representation, hope one day to establish a group that can provide legal assistance to those who find themselves in similar situations as they are currently in.

“I kind of brought this on my family,” Joeylynn told me. “I had been praying for God to use us to make a difference in our community and our world. And now, here we are. When I asked, ‘why us?’ God reminded me that I had asked Him to use us. I truly believe God brought us here to do something very special.”

On a recent podcast, friend of LET, Kevin Alan asked Nicholas Sandman and Kyle Rittenhouse to forward their attorney’s contact information to provide assistance with the lawsuits that may be coming on behalf of the defendants.

I find it really ironic that these individuals are being sued for expressing their 1st Amendment rights because a handful of liberal got their tighty-whities all twisted.

Especially after the four years of Trumps administration saw Maxine Waters calling for Americans to “push back” against that administration and to get in their faces at the gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores or anywhere else they saw them and let them know they aren’t welcome.

Chuck Schumer told the Supreme Court that overturning Roe v Wade would cause them to reap the whirlwind (a threat at the very least and an absolute call to violent retribution at the worst).

Jerry Nadler said that the violence we saw over the 2020-2022 time frame was a myth, because Antifa is a just an idea…it isn’t a group or an action.

Madonna said she was dreaming about blowing up the White House. Kathy Griffin held a bloody Trump head for a social media shoot. Johnny Depp asked when the last time was someone shot a President.

And nothing happened.

Yet, a group of freedom loving Texans in pickup trucks with American flags and Trump 2020 banners drive in unison next to a Biden campaign bus, and all hell breaks loose. They are now deemed a threat to democracy itself. They dared to speak up, and now they are faced with the very real threat of losing everything.

Quick update: since we began writing this piece several weeks ago, the Mesaros and the rest of the defendants have won a small battle in this war.

The bus driver was seeking to have the court award him for loss of income because the trauma of the event left him unable to work. He wanted the defendants to cover his losses, which he said was approximately $600,000 – $700,000 annually. Attorneys made numerous requests for paystubs or tax returns to substantiate the claim. The plaintiff’s legal team refused to turn over those financial records.

Long story short, the driver is no longer seeking recovery of lost wages.

We will continue to follow this lawsuit and will provide updates as they become available. Our thoughts and prayers of with the Mesaros and the other defendants as they continue to wage this war.

Here is our original coverage of this story from 2020. Some details from that original story have been updated in the feature piece above to reflect correct details that have been clarified since we first ran this story.

Biden-Harris campaign staff call 911 after bus is trolled by ‘Trump Train,’ FBI now investigating

AUSTIN, TX – A motorcade of vehicles displaying Trump campaign flags and signs swarmed a Biden campaign bus on Interstate 35 between San Antonio and Austin, leading the Democrats on board to call 911 and cancel the Austin closing of their “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” tour.

The move by the “Trump Train” as it’s been called is being investigated by the FBI, as is now confirmed by the Texas Tribune.

The Tribune reported that Tariq Thowfeek, Texas communications director for the Biden campaign, said:

“Rather than engage in productive conversation about the drastically different visions that Joe Biden and Donald Trump have for our country, Trump supporters in Texas [Friday] instead decided to put our staff, surrogates, supporters, and others in harm’s way.”

According to reports from the Biden campaign, a Biden-Harris bus was heading north on I-35 on its way from San Antonio to a drive-by event with supporters at Texas State University in San Marcos, followed by a “closing argument” press conference at the Texas AFL-CIO headquarters in downtown Austin when vehicles with Trump supporters surrounded the bus.

The Biden campaign proceeded to claim that the motorcade of vehicles tried to slow the bus down in the middle of the highway and attempt to run it off the road.

The Tribune also said:

“Around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, a social media user using the hashtag #TrumpTrainTexas posted on Twitter, ‘Trolling is FUN.’ The user called for other Trump supporters to ‘escort the Biden [bus] coming through San Antonio.’”

According to reports, neither former Vice President Joe Biden nor Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) were on the bus.

A minor collision occurred between a Biden staffer vehicle and on of the trucks in the caravan.

Thowfeek added:

“Our supporters will continue to organize their communities for Joe Bide, Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot and to the Texans who disrupted our events today: We’ll see you on November 3rd.”

No one was injured and no one was arrested. A video of the incident allegedly shows a glancing contact between a black pickup truck, driven by a Trump supporter and a white car, driven by a Biden campaign staffer. However, there was no apparent serious or disabling damage.

On Saturday, October 31st, President Trump share a video, which appears to be of the incident and tweeted, “I love Texas!”

The incident occurred in the midst of the biggest day of the presidential campaign yet for Texas Democrats as Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris spent a full day campaigning in the state. Allegedly, Texas is now a “toss-up” in November 3rd’s election.

The Texas Republican Party tweeted a statement from Texas Republican Party Chairman Allen West in response to an inquiry about the matter from the Texas Tribune. West denounced the implication of the reporter’s question as “more fake news and propaganda.”

Texas GOP said it its statement:

“Abby Livingston from the Texas Tribune reached out to the RPT today and asked a question about a Biden campaign bus in her attempt to portray conservatives as violent radicals, even though it is leftists from Antifa and BLM who have been assaulting, robbing, and looting fellow citizens and their property.”

Their statement also included the following response from West:

“Three Trump supporters have been executed, one in Portland, one in Denver, and one in Milwaukee. A leftish mob attempted to storm the house of the McCloskeys, threatened to burn their house down, rape, Mrs. McCloskey, and then kill them both.”

West added:

“Where is the liberal corporate media’s concern about that real violence? Additionally, none of what your question implies is accurate. It is more fake news and propaganda.”

The Biden campaign claimed that they did not seek to draw much attention to the highway encounter between the Biden-Harris bus and one of the car caravans of Trump supporters that were in a motorcade on that same highway.

However, other observers did seek to draw attention to what they considered a potentially “serious” situation. One of those individuals is Dr. Eric Cervini, a historian and author from LA who came to Texas to help the Biden campaign.

Cervini claims that he was on the scene and proceeded to post a video with a series of tweets, describing the events as an “ambush” by “armed” Trump supporters in pickup trucks with Trump flags seeking to run the Biden bus off the road.
