BOSTON, MA- No worries…it’s not like they’re trying to groom them or anything. In yet another clear example of the insanity of the left, in particular leftist universities, Harvard Medical School, which purports to be one of the leading such institutions in the country, is now offering courses on how to provide healthcare to infants who identify as being part of the alphabet community, according to a course catalog description.
Fox News reports the course, “Caring for Patients with Diverse Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities and Sex Development,” offers students the opportunity to work with “patients [who] identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex or asexual,” as first reported by The College Fix.
And here we thought all of this was about gay marriage…stupid us.

“Clinical exposure and education will focus on serving gender and sexual minority people across the lifespan, from infants to older adults,” the course description says. [emphasis added]
The course also allows students “engage in a mentored scholarly endeavor” such as “advocacy, quality improvement, medical education, original research, or public health project.”
Wonder how long it will be before someone gets the idea that a baby can in fact be “gender fluid” inside the womb and as such are exempt from getting their brain sucked out and their skull collapsed through the procedure of abortion. After all, isn’t that some form of discrimination?

Absurd? Yes. But in order to meet the radical left on a level playing field, we must mock absurdity by ourselves being absurd, as the late, great Rush Limbaugh used to say.
Harvard’s foray into sexual deviance should come as no surprise, since first they are a radical leftist institution and second, they are affiliated with Mass General Hospital, which offers all manner of transgender surgical procedures for men and women (two genders, people) 18 and older, plus resources for transgender youth, including referrals to LGBTQ etc. support groups.
The directors of that program are Dr. Alex Keuroghlian and Dr. Alberto Puig, the Daily Mail reports.
A spokesman for Harvard Medical School provided the following statement to the Daily Mail online.
“As part of our MD curriculum, HMS offers a four-week elective course that educates and trains medical students to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care for patients with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and sex development across the age spectrum.
“In this context, care for infants refers specifically to physical variations in sex development that arise in utero and are present at birth. These include chromosomal, gonadal, and anatomical variations, all of which are relevant to medical care and treatment to ensure healthy development.
“This course aligns with Harvard Medical School’s Sexual and Gender Minority Health Initiative, and its educational framework is based on recommendations of the Association of American Medical Colleges, which together aim to address the health needs of patients who are LGBTQIA+, gender nonconforming, or born with differences in sex development.”
Some however disagree with the practice. Nathanael Blake, an ethicist at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, told The College Fix, “Harvard medical students should be taught the basic scientific truth that a man cannot become a woman, or vice versa.”
Remember when the medical community and Democrats pounded us with “trust the science” when it came to their COVID recommendations? Yet they violate their own admonitions by trying to claim there are more than two genders. Biology (science) is biology (science).
Continuing, Blake said:
“Those experiencing psychological distress regarding their biological sex need to be treated with compassion, which does not mean subjecting them to dangerous chemical and surgical treatments to mold them into a facsimile of the opposite sex.”
Bravo!
Meanwhile in a January 2022 interview with the New York Times, Dr. Keuroghlian argued against psychological screening for those who claim to be transgender, claiming that “being trans isn’t a mental health problem.”
Keuroghlian then made the absurd argument that people who undergo plastic surgery, such as nose jobs and breast augmentation or medical procedures such as hysterectomies, do not require mental health screening.
Dr. Puig meanwhile, a graduate of Baylor Medical School has been actively involved with the design and content of Harvard Medical’s curriculum for the past seven years, according to his profile on Mass General’s website. He serves as associate dean at Harvard Medical School.
Last year, Boston Children’s Hospital, also affiliated with the Harvard program, posted a since-deleted viral video in which they suggested babies “know they are transgender from the womb.” Another since-deleted video suggested a large number of minors know they are transgender “as soon as they can talk,” or roughly two-years-old.
The video, posted by Libs of Tik Tok, caused an outcry against the hospital. People were also incensed by claims BCH rushed minors into life-altering sex change surgery.
On the hospital’s YouTube page in August, psychologist Dr. Kerry McGregor explained the type of patients seen by her at the facility.
“So most of the patients we have in the clinic actually know their gender, usually around the age of puberty.
“But a good portion of children do know as early as—seemingly—from the womb. And they will usually express their gender identity as very young children, some as soon as they can talk…kids know very, very early.”
The Mass General program guide claims “Being transgender is not a phase” and “being transgender is not a disease or something that needs to be cured. It is a normal human experience.”
It continues:
“A person knows that they are transgender from a young age especially when the feelings are persistent, consistent, and occur over a prolonged period of time.”
It then states that a toddler’s “gender identity is very fluid” as boys like to play dress up and girls like to play with trucks.
Seriously.
However, fear not. Mass General says by the time someone is a teenager, they should have a “grasp” on their gender identity.
Maybe they should talk to that guy in the admiral’s uniform who works in the Biden administration.
Both Fox News and The College Fix reached out to Harvard Medical School for comment, however no response was received despite multiple requests.
