WASHINGTON D.C.– Both Democrats and Republicans alike can agree that the events that took place on January 6th at our Nations Capital were disgraceful to say the least.
Despite that, the event is being seen as a Republican event, acted out by Trump supporting Republicans, however new information has come to light that somewhat debunks that theory.
CNN has reported that an analysis of voting records shows that nonvoters and registered Democrats were among those who were arrested at the January 6th Capitol protest.

The events of January 6th are being primarily blamed on President Trump, which has lead to the second impeachment of the former President, with Democrats blaming the incitement of insurrection on him, following his speech at the Capitol discrediting Joe Biden’s win.
When one looks at the speech however, President Trump never urges his supported to engage in the destruction and chaos that ensued that day.
Regardless, as Breitbart reported, House lawmakers, some of whom indicated that they feared for their lives as protesters stormed the Capitol, voted to impeach him for the second time.
The trial in the Senate is expected to begin next week.
Meanwhile, some Democrats are offering Republicans an ultimatum, continuing to blame them and their supporters for the events that transpired on the day Congress convened to certify the electoral vote.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has gained international fame for the meme’s associated with him and his mittens, took to Twitter on Monday, January 1st to ask:
“The Republican Party has a fundamental decision to make. Will it be a conservative party functioning within a democratic society? Or will it be an authoritarian party built upon the Big Lie, conspiracy theories and violence? It cannot be both.”

According to CNN, which analyzed the data of over 180 of those arrested:
“at least eight of the people who are now facing criminal charges for their involvement in the events at the Capitol did not vote in the November 2020 presidential election, according to an analysis of voting records from the states where protestors were arrested and those states where public records show they have lived.”
While it does remain true that most of the 180 individuals were supporters of President Trump or Republican, the analysis found that:
“a handful were registered as Democrats in those jurisdictions that provided party information.”
CNN reported that:
“Public access to voter history records varies by state, and CNN was unable to view the records of some of those charged,”
They went on to say:
“Among those who didn’t vote were a 65-year-old Georgia man who, according to government documents, was found in his van with a fully-loaded pistol and ammunition, and a Louisiana man who publicly bragged about spending nearly two hours inside the Capitol after attending Trump’s “Stop the Steal” rally.
Another was a 21-year-old woman from Missouri who prosecutors say shared a video on Snapchat that showed her parading around with a piece of a wooden sign from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office.
And a Florida man previously convicted of attempted murder who was accused by the government of refusing to leave the Capitol likely did not have the option to cast a ballot because of his unpaid court fines.”
CNN also cited Jessica Stern, a Boston University professor who, when considering those who stormed the capital, said she :
“believes a number of factors could have been at play”
Some, she surmised, could have been:
“more attracted to the theater, violence or attention they would get from a demonstration like the one at the Capitol than to actually achieving their purported goal — in this case, different election results,”
The revelations coincide with the looming speculation over the fundamental nature of the protest. Democrats are reportedly building what has been described as an “emotionally charged” case against the former president in the upcoming impeachment trial, which Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has deemed “dead on arrival”, Breitbart reported.
The Washington Post recently reported that Democrats intend to prove President Trump knew about the protest prior to January 6th, stating that Democrats hope to:
“present the Senate with fresh evidence that reveals what Trump knew in advance”

In fiery House Speech, Rep. Boebert calls Trump impeachment ‘bull crap,’ calls out hypocrisy of those behind it
January 14, 2021
WASHINGTON, DC – Firecracker Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) marked Day 10 of her new career with an explosive speech on the House floor during debate before the vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
President Donald Trump became the first president to be impeached twice, after being charged with “incitement of insurrection” over last week’s attack on the Capitol as lawmakers certified the Electoral College vote. He will now face trial in the Senate, which may not occur until he leaves office in six days.
— Rep. Lauren Boebert (@RepBoebert) January 12, 2021
Rep. Boebert was granted one minute to speak on the floor, and she used every second. Starting out with the phrase “Glory to God,” everyone in the chamber was put on notice that this was not going to be just another floor speech.
Her opening statement set the stage for what was to come:
“Madam Speaker, I rise today to oppose this impeachment and to denounce the recent violence on the Capitol just as I opposed the previous impeachment and the violence, we’ve all witnessed all summer long across our great country.”
The congresswoman who made headlines as a gun-toting, stubborn, and controversial high school drop-out who invaded the inner sanctum of Harvard and Yale graduates that is Washington politics, continued her speech on the floor while shaking her finger:
“Make no mistake here. The hypocrisy of the Left is on full display. Quote: ‘Go to the Hill, get in the face of some Congresspeople. We’ve got to fight in Congress, fight in the courts, fight in the streets. Take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him. Go and take Trump out tonight.’ Sound familiar?”
Hypocrisy writ large. https://t.co/alLEpY9EwP

Rep. Boebert was referring to several members of the Democratic party who made statements that could be considered calls to violence. For example, in 2008, President Barack Obama said:
“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”
And… what about all of inflammatory remarks and inciting of riots and violence and abdication and support of antifa, etc by many elected Democrats???

In 2017, Democratic Senator Tim Kane said:
“So, the way we get outside the bubble is we take advantage of this tremendous public outcry against the administration…What we’ve got to do is fight in Congress, fight in the courts, fight in the streets, fight online, fight at the ballot box, and now there’s the momentum to be able to do this.”
In March 2018, President-elect Biden, then a presidential candidate, said of Donald Trump:
“If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”
Since everyone is talking about inciting violence, here’s a relevant video. pic.twitter.com/p71N4uyJPf

In October 2018, Democratic Representative Maxine Waters made a direct threat to President Trump:
“I will go and take Trump out tonight.”
This is a very slippery slope we’re going down if we’re charging someone for intent.
No one said anything to Maxine Waters for actually telling people to harass conservatives.
Trumps “intent” vs. Waters actual “take Trump out tonight”.https://t.co/4MbvoUsVdD

Rep. Boebert continued her fiery opposition to the impeachment of President Donald Trump by attacking a comment made by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in July:
“What about the gentlewoman from New York who defended the looting by saying, ‘Looters just wanted loaves of bread.’ Well, the last I checked, BestBuy and Teslas and stores of the like do not produce baked goods.”
AOC on increased NYC crime: "Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren't paying their rent & are scared to pay their rent & so they go out & they need to feed their child & they don't have money so… they feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry." pic.twitter.com/oHSTWWJZ6a
— The Hill (@thehill) July 12, 2020
With her hand waving around, Rep. Boebert ended her speech by saying that the impeachment of President Trump would only divide the country further:
“Where is the accountability for the left? After encouraging and normalizing violence, rather than actually helping (the) American people in this time, we start impeachments that further divide our country. I call bull crap when I hear the Democrats demanding unity. Sadly, they are only unified in hate.”
I voted against the frivolous impeachment sham today.
It will be nice when Democrats can stop this foolishness so we can get to working on behalf of the American people.
Impeaching a President with seven days left in his term is a colossal waste of time.

On Monday, Rep. Boebert gave a preview of her fierce speech by releasing a statement Monday calling out what she views as the Democrat’s hypocrisy regarding calls for violence. In the statement she wrote:
“We should take Democrats at their word when they say never let a crisis go to waste. Their hypocrisy is on full display with talks of impeachment, censure, and other ways to punish Republicans for false accusations of inciting the type of violence they have so frequently and transparently supported in the past.”
The statement mentioned two previous incidents when the young representative was attacked by Democrats. One such incident occurred after she sent a tweet during the attack on the Capitol when she tweeted that the “Speaker (Pelosi) has been removed from the chambers.”
The Speaker has been removed from the chambers.

Although she did not give any specific details on Speaker Pelosi’s location, Democrats accused her of aiding the rioters, and some called for her resignation.
She was also called out for tweeting, “Today is 1776” at 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the Capitol assault.
Today is 1776.
— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) January 6, 2021
In the statement, Rep. Boebert wrote:
“They accuse me of live-tweeting the Speaker’s presence after she had been safely removed from the Capitol, as if I was revealing some big secret, when in fact this removal was also being broadcast on TV. They act as if Republicans created objections to the Electoral College certification out of thin air, when it was Democrats who objected in 2001, 2005, and 2017.
“They act as though a reference to the founding of our country and the bravery of upholding our Constitutional oath is criminal, which says a whole lot more about them than it does about me or any other Republican.”
At least 30 people were killed in largely left-wing riots in the summer of 2020.https://t.co/CVoj8v2ExD
— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) January 12, 2021
The statement called out Democrats for allowing violence to rage throughout the nation during a summer featuring Black Lives Matter and Antifa demonstrations and riots:
“The reality is that Joe Biden didn’t condemn Antifa when he had a chance to, Kamala Harris spent much of the summer helping those arrested for violent behavior post bail and get back on the streets as quickly as possible, and Speaker Pelosi encouraged uprisings all over the country.”
Giving a clear signal of what Democrats should expect during the remainder of her term, Rep. Boebert closed the statement:
“I denounced the violence over the summer just as I did the recent events at the Capitol. I defended our Constitution and I always will. America will persevere because freedom always prevails. But let’s get real—the far-left and their policies are causing harm to our country. I refuse to let their political machine write a narrative that millions of Americans know is false.”
