DALLAS, TX; ATLANTA, GA; NEW YORK, NY- “No justice, no peace!”
That is the battle cry of Black Lives Matter protesters and rioters as they set about terrorizing diners in outdoor restaurants, breaking windows and doing early Christmas shopping, otherwise known as looting.
As fans of the rule of law, we much prefer, “No police, no peace,” which is a message that has been placed on billboards in several major cities throughout the United States.
The Daily Signal reports that six billboards which express that message have been placed in three cities, two each in New York City, Dallas and Atlanta, according to Heritage Action for America in an announcement Monday.
The billboards have been erected in the midst of an increase in riots across the country in the name of “social justice” and while police across the country are being used for target practice by Marxist anarchists.
This past Saturday, two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were the victims of a targeted assassination attempt when they were each shot in the head as they sat in their patrol car in Compton, California by a gutless thug who resembled an Oompa Loompa from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
As of this writing, the spineless scumbag remains at large.
Meanwhile in St. Louis, yet another officer was shot, this time during a traffic stop in St. Louis, the ninth police officer shot since June 1. Scores of other officers have been injured during violent protests that broke out across the country after George Floyd died in police custody in Minneapolis at the end of May.
The two sheriff’s deputies, ages 24 and 31, who have been on the job for around a year are expected to survive, although both remain in intensive care in critical condition.
The billboards were launched by Heritage Action for America, a grassroots partner of The Heritage Foundation, a conservative organization.
“Americans want safety, security, and a clear vision for how to quell the violence. I am excited to announce the launch of these billboards today, because you cannot have peace without the police,” said Jessica Anderson, the executive director of Heritage Action in a statement.
It is believed that the six billboards will reach an audience of about 4 million people weekly, and they will be displayed for two weeks.
The billboards in New York City, where Communist sympathizing mayor Bill de Blasio has eliminated the department’s anti-crime unit and cut $1 billion from the department’s budget, will be displayed in Times Square at 7th Avenue and 48th Street and at Broadway and 44th Street.
Atlanta’s billboards will have one displayed across from CNN headquarters at Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street, which should throw anti-police zealots such as Joy Reid, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo into convulsions.
The second billboard will be at Peachtree Road East and Paces Ferry Road.
In Dallas, the billboards are located downtown at Main Street adjacent to Interstate 45, and on Cedar Springs Road.
“These cities are facing rising violence, deep cuts to public safety, and the resignation of their top police officers. This is a time for all citizens and leaders to come together to support the important work and sacrifices of our law enforcement officers and push back against the left’s campaign to defund the police.”
Police across the country have been facing increasing calls to basically become emasculated, with numerous cities defunding the police and while some Congressional Democrats have called for similar actions.
Massachusetts Sen. Edward Markey (D), one of the more clueless members of Congress has called for police to be “disarmed of weapons of war,” including tear gas, rubber bullets and beanbag rounds. Ironically beanbag rounds, known as less-lethal weapons, are used in place of the deadly physical force that clueless bureaucrats like Markey rail against.
Markey of course has a lot of company in the clueless Democrat department. He was recently endorsed by the queen of clueless Democrats, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez so that should be a hint.

The billboards placed by Heritage Action urges citizens to sign their Police Pledge, which had already been signed by over 120,000 people, including 18 US Senators, 144 US House members and two governors. All of those elected officials signing the pledge were Republicans, which is not surprising, since Democrats have clearly thrown their support behind the rioters and protesters.
The pledge asks Americans to “stand with America’s police and pledge to oppose any bill, resolution or movement to ‘Defund the Police.’”
The move to support police comes as crime is exploding across the country. Homicides in New York rocketed up by almost 50% in August while de Blasio was cutting their budget, year to year compared to August 2019. The homicide rate is up 150% in Atlanta since May 25, the day Floyd died in Minneapolis, while Dallas is poised to hit its highest homicide rate in over ten years.
“Now is the time for our elected officials at all levels of government to take a stand for peace and security over anarchy and chaos,” Anderson said, while adding:
“Supporting the police is not partisan. It’s American.
“Lawmakers should push back against violent rhetoric and dangerous policies that would undermine our communities.
“Our law enforcement supports us every day, and it’s time we support them back.”
Unfortunately, supporting the police is partisan. Want an example? When Jacob Blake, a suspected sex offender was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin police while armed with a knife, Kamala Harris, running as Joe Biden’s running mate for vice president went to that city to visit with Blake and said she was “proud of him.”
Two sheriff’s deputies were shot in Harris’ home state of California, where she is an elected senator, and she hasn’t said one word…not one…about the two sheriff’s deputies targeted for murder. That’s all you need to know.
