Biden’s America: Multi-state ICE raid to arrest illegal alien sex offenders canceled at the last minute

Share:

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reportedly canceled a scheduled multi-state raid that would have resulted in the arrests of charged and convicted illegal alien sex offenders.

According to reports, agents spent thousand of hours learning the exact locations of their targets and obtaining warrants in preparation for Operation Talon, a multi-state ICE raid to arrest illegal sex offenders, which was scheduled for the month of February.

A source, familiar with the operation’s details said that the night before agents were supposed to hit the streets, the raid was canceled. The Washington Post reported that Operation Talon had been planned in the final weeks of the Trump administration.

A senior ICE official reportedly said that the Biden administration had nothing to do with that decision.

The official added that they had not heard about the operation, but that it was possible that career staffers had planned it and set it aside while awaiting new instructions from the Biden team.

However, typically top ICE officials would be responsible for such decisions, often in coordination with senior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials who stay in close contact with the White House.

The cancelation of the raid comes as the Biden administration seeks to cripple interior immigration enforcement.

Back at the end of January, DHS released a memo that included a 100-day halt to deportations for nearly all illegal aliens except those who are convicted of “aggravated felonies.”

The Biden administration will also be releasing an upcoming set of guidelines that will keep convicted illegal alien drug dealers and assault perpetrators in the United States.

Internal communications reviewed by the Washington Post and nearly confirmed by White House press secretary Jen Psaki, detailed how ICE under Biden’s direction will not prioritize deportations for illegal aliens convicted of a number of crimes, all of which have American victims.

The internal emails sent to ICE agents suggest that illegal aliens are only considered threats to the public if they are convicted of aggravated felonies, can be proven to be gang members, or have a history of violence.

In cases where an illegal alien’s aggravated felony is 10 years old, ICE agents will not prioritize their arrest or deportation. Similarly, an illegal alien’s gang tattoos will no longer be enough to classify their affiliation with a gang and therefore will not be a priority.

In speaking with Breitbart News, former acting ICE Director Thomas Homan said:

“Is the Biden administration really saying that drunk driving isn’t a public safety threat? Tell that to the Angel Moms whose children were killed by illegal alien drunk drivers.”

Biden’s administration also plans to dismantle the legal wall at the U.S.-Mexico border that has kept illegal immigration at bay during the coronavirus pandemic. The wall, 450 miles long, was authorized and built by former President Trump’s administration between 2017 and 2020. The wall, Biden claims, “is not a serious policy solution” and “is a waste of money.”

With nearly one month in office, the Biden policies are resulting in the restarting of the Catch and Release program, where border crossers are apprehended and then released into the U.S. without having been tested for the coronavirus.

Unofficial totals reveal that Catch and Release has skyrocketed with at least 1,000 border crossers released this month so far.

Biden officials stated that they are not abandoning immigration enforcement and will continue to prioritize national security and public safety threats, while preventing the deportation of those who do not meet their “more selective criteria. ”

They emphasized that the interim guidance makes clear that anyone in the United States illegally still could be subject to deportation if an ICE agent makes the case for removing them.

Report: Biden orders on immigration have put DHS, ICE into state of confusion over border enforcement

January 31st, 2021

WASHINGTON, DC- Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven had nothing on Joe Biden.

Cloward and Piven developed something called the Cloward-Piven strategy, which seeks to destroy capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy. Basically throw as much mud as possible at the wall and see what sticks. This is government under Joe Biden.

By issuing dozens of executive orders in around a week, it is hard to keep up with the damage Biden is doing to the country. Among Biden’s directives is one that will have a significant impact on our border security. Let us explain.

According to Breitbart News, Biden signed two executive orders, released through a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo which has left Immigration and Customs Enforcement confused as to their enforcement duties.

Former ICE Director Thomas Homan told Breitbart that, “It’s a mess,” speaking of Biden’s orders and directed toward the agency’s staff.

Biden’s order bans the agency from deporting nearly all illegal aliens for 100 days, an order which has at least been temporarily blocked by a federal judge. The executive order would ban deportation of all illegal aliens with the exception of those convicted of “aggravated felonies.”

The directive would also ban ICE agents from arresting illegal aliens who are not convicted felons, known or suspected terrorists, or newly-arrived border jumpers, Breitbart said.

Sources told Breitbart that the memo has led to mass confusion at the DHS, with no direction offered as to how ICE agents can arrest and detain illegal aliens who have not yet been convicted of aggravated felonies, with no end goal for their removal. ICE facilities are not set up for long-term detention.

“If an MS-13 gang member gets arrested for child rape, ICE can’t take him because he hasn’t been convicted,” Homan said.

“Even if he has a final order for removal, if he posts bond, ICE cannot touch him.”

This is merely another example of Democrats, in this case embodied in the person of Joe Biden throwing down with criminals while screwing over law enforcement.

The memo, Homan noted, was poorly written, and received no input from the immigration division at DHS for input, Homan said. Biden’s choice as deputy of the Domestic Policy Council for Immigration, Esther Olavarria is believed to have helped draft the memo, although she was not a signatory to the document.

“Nobody with immigration enforcement experience was at the table when they were writing this memo,’ Homan said.

Jessica Vaughan, Director of Policy at the Center for Immigration Studies noted that DHS would typically conduct a conference call with a number of the agency’s officials prior to issuance of such a directive and noted that none of the typical protocol was followed in this case.

“I’ve talked to ICE officers in the field who said they are completely confused and concerned and as a result the managers told them to do nothing because nobody knows what they can do,” Vaughan told Breitbart.

“The language is not specific…there was no trainings or briefings.”

“’Confusion’ is the word I’ve heard most often from my ICE sources,” Vaughan continued.

An internal email which noted to “release them all” created a great deal of confusion at the agency, causing many at ICE to be “taken aback,” Breitbart said. The federal government later attempted to clarify that message, claiming it was only in reference to detainees at high risk of contracting the Chinese coronavirus.

Breitbart said they reached out to ICE, where an official seemed unclear about what the internal email had suggested.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement continues to make custody determinations on a case by case basis, in accordance with U.S. law and Department of Homeland Security policy,” the unnamed official said.

“During the course of routine operations, individuals can be released from custody based on the particular facts and circumstances of their cases,” the official continued.

“Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, ICE continues to release detainees when possible or when directed by court order to maintain a detention capacity at or below 75% recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

In addition to the memo, Biden directed DHS to stop the “Remain in Mexico” policy implemented under President Trump, where illegals entering the U.S. were returned to Mexico while the U.S. processed their asylum claims. Trump’s directive effectively ended the policy of illegal border crossers being released into the interior of the U.S.

Meanwhile, thousands of migrants have been approaching the United States border with Mexico, emboldened by Biden’s promise to basically open up the country’s borders to anyone wishing to enter without penalty.

Immigration officials are currently trying to figure out how they will handle the anticipated influx of illegals into the country either seeking asylum or just deciding they want to come here and take advantage of the Democrats’ “Welcome to America” policy.

Since October, the number of apprehensions at the southern border has exploded, with nearly 208,000 illegal border crossers being apprehended in the first quarter of FY 2021—the highest level of illegal immigration over this time period in 20 years.

So what you have is millions of American citizens who are out of work due to the policies of Democrat governors and Biden welcoming illegals into the country who will be completing for a smaller number of jobs.

Welcome to Joe Biden’s America.

Meanwhile, in December Law Enforcement Today reported on the number of illegals who were deported last year by ICE. For more on that, we invite you to:

DIG DEEPER

WASHINGTON, DC- The year 2020 has not been good for much, but one thing it was good for is continuing to rid the United States of criminal illegal aliens.

According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency deported over 185,000 illegals in FY2020, which included more than 4,200 criminal gang members, according to Breitbart News.

Between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020, ICE agents were responsible for ridding the United States of 185,884 illegal aliens, this despite operational disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Of those deported, 64 percent or 118,949 had criminal convictions or criminal charges pending. Over 14,000 of those deported were family units, while just over 4,000 were Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs).

More so, an astounding 92 percent of those deported from the interior states of the US had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges pending against them when they were deported.

Compared to FY2019, criminal deportations dropped by more than 30 percent due to the pandemic, with a 27 percent decrease compared to FY2018.

ICE noted that 4,276 known or suspected gang members were deported this year, as well as 31 who were known or suspected terrorists. ICE said their air travel deportation operation worked to coordinate a record number of charters, 76, to high-risk countries which included Jordan, Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and Mongolia.

Compared to FY2019, that was a 160 percent increase in the high-risk deportation program. In addition, ICE agents deported more than 350 high-profile illegal aliens, including Bosnian national Saudin Agani, who was convicted of aiding a terrorist organization.

In 2020, ICE placed detainers on 122,233 illegal aliens, which serve as requests by ICE agents to local law enforcement authorities to hold an illegal alien in custody until they can be turned over to ICE for arrest and deportation.

Unfortunately, sanctuary states like California and cities like New York and Los Angeles refuse to honor ICE detainers and often release illegal alien criminal suspects back into the community, where many times they offend again.

Out of the known gang members arrested in FY2020, 675 were associates of the El Salvador-based MS-13 gang, which traffics recruits through the UAC program, which releases unaccompanied minors into interior United States after they cross the US-Mexican border.

Agani is related to a Bosnian illegal alien, Dzenan Camovic who was indicted this year for an ambush on two New York City police officers in June.

During the attack on the officers, Camovic was shouting the Islamic phrase “Allahu Akbar.” Justice Department officials have alleged that Camovic is a supporter of the Islamic State (ISIS).

While President Trump has made it a mission to tighten up the border and increase immigration enforcement, wanna-be president Joe Biden has promised to halt deportations of illegal aliens, even those who are convicted criminals. The Biden-Sanders “Unity Task Force” recommendations would virtually eliminate all border controls if implemented.

Estimates have shown that deporting illegal aliens is a financial windfall for the United States.

According to research, the taxpayer costs of supporting the estimated 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the United States totals around $750 billion over the course of a lifetime.

Meanwhile, deporting illegals costs around $10,900. Seems like a bit of a no-brainer. Based on those estimates, American taxpayers would realize a savings of about $622 billion over a lifetime if every illegal alien was deported.

In November, Law Enforcement Today reported on legislation being written which would grant amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens. For more on that, we invite you to:

DIG DEEPER

WASHINGTON, DC- Well, they sure aren’t wasting any time. According to Breitbart, Democrats in the House haven’t even waited for the election results to be certified amidst numerous lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign and they’re already drafting legislation to give between 11 and 22 million illegal aliens amnesty.

Biden has said repeatedly he was in favor of such a move. Think the Senate races in Georgia aren’t important now?

Politico reported that Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) is leading the charge on such a plan which would be filed as soon as Biden theoretically takes office.

“Still, Democrats say they’re determined to put forth a comprehensive immigration reform bill that Biden can sign off on. Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.) is drafting a bill that Democrats hope to drop right as Biden enters the White House.”

The radicals aren’t even running the show yet and they’re already showing what their priorities are. Not trying to pass a reasonable COVID-19 relief bill but trying to add more voters to their rolls.

Politico said the “open borders lobby” is pushing Biden to follow through not only on amnesty, but also to put a stop to all deportations for 100 days, as well as to end President Trump’s ban on immigration from terrorist-sanctioned countries.

The ban, which was found to be constitutional, has been an effective tool in preventing the import of terrorism.

Politico reported:

“Tapping Mayorkas, former deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security under Obama is a “conversation starter,” Franco said. But she and other immigrant advocates say staffing is just one piece of it.

They want the former vice president to impose a 100-day moratorium on deportations, rescind many of Trump’s more than 400 executive orders on immigration (like the so-called Muslim ban) and lay the ground work for tougher goals like a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants—all promises he made on the campaign trail.

Privately, multiple Hispanic caucus members said a large number of Democrats would be “severely disappointed” if Biden didn’t push immigration reform early. ‘That’s not going to sit well with a lot of folks,’ said one lawmaker in the caucus.”

Biden told NBC Nightly News on Wednesday that he did indeed plan to send an amnesty plan to the United States Senate for “over 11 million” illegal aliens in the first 100 days.

“I made a commitment, in the first 100 days, I will send an immigration bill to the United States Senate with a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in America,” he told the network.

In an act of pure “genius,” such a move would as over 24.5 million Americans are currently jobless or underemployed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Such an amnesty program would immediately thrust millions of newly legalized Americans into the job market to compete for jobs with those Americans. But hey, this is what tens of millions of Americans voted for. Good move.

In a typical year, the U.S. already awards around 1.2 legal immigrants green cards, while another 1.4 million foreigners are given visas to come to the United States. These numbers are in addition to the hundreds of thousands of illegals who jump the border annually, as well as those who cross the border and then overstay their visas.

The move by Democrats comes even though exit polling after the election showed that voters across all demographics and voter affiliation want less overall immigration into the U.S. Which begs the question…Biden has repeatedly said he’s willing to open the borders to a flood of new illegal aliens, yet tens of millions voted for him?

For example, over 75 percent of voters said it was important to reduce immigration in the midst of continued high unemployment, with more than 62 percent saying that even after unemployment has leveled off, immigration should reman lower than current levels.

Well played, voters.
