The Missouri Highway Patrol says a trooper stopped an eastbound tractor-trailer truck on Interstate 44 for a registration and lane violation. The trooper says he noticed several indicators of suspected criminal activity and obtained consent to search the truck. The trooper says the search revealed about 215 pounds of marijuana inside the trailer.
Locksley Beckford, 43, is charged with 2nd degree drug trafficking. He’s due in court Friday, October 28.
