GovXJames Comey, Director of the Department of Justice-Federal Bureau of Investigation sadly reports the death of Special Agent Rickey O’Donald.

S/A O’Donald, 54, stated that he didn’t feel well following his completion of the agency’s annual physical fitness test. He then left the office and drove himself to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

O’Donald arrived at the hospital and collapsed in the parking lot as he was walking to the entrance. Medical personnel found him unresponsive and they performed CPR. He was brought into the emergency room where more advanced medical aid could be administered, but all efforts to revive him failed.

Agent O’Donald was assigned to the Miami Field Office and served the FBI for twenty-nine years. His wife and daughter survive him.
