Measure of Devotion

On Memorial Day we honored those men and women who gave the last full measure of devotion in serving their country. As a result, there were parades, speeches and flag waving exercising the right of free people to assemble.

We can judge are we really free to pursue the liberties that these brave men and women so nobly advanced. We continuously see and hear those that espouse removing God from our land. They convey we as a people are free to make our own decisions without any thought of Divine intervention.

Moreover, officers on patrol see a different American dream of violence, corruption and man’s inhumanity to man. Can you ever imagine what it would be like if you were not there to protect the rights and liberties of the men and women living in your cities, towns and communities?

As we honor those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for America’s freedom, we also honor you for being the first line of defense in securing the American dream of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God Bless you and your love ones and God Bless America.

Let Us Pray

Dear Heavenly Father:

We thank you for the gifts You continuously pour on our cities, towns and communities, even though many fail to see the wonders of Your gifts.

Bless and protect these brave men and women on patrol this day who continue to protect and serve that all may enjoy the freedoms that so many of our brothers and sisters died to preserve. We ask this prayer and the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts in Your holy and sacred name. Amen
