WASHINGTON, DC- In an exclusive interview this week, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News what many of us have suspected all along.
It’s that Joe Biden’s “dirty little secret” is that among the so-called “families” and “children” illegally crossing the border that we keep hearing about, there are also a number of suspected terrorists among them.
Law Enforcement Today has previously reported on the issue.
.GOPLeader: "Every single city in America is a border city today… I talked to one mayor, he had to shut down his school just in the first 9 months, 46 times. You know why? 'Cause of the car chases from the cartels coming across and the shooting." https://t.co/uSWipa9RXB

“The dirty little secret here—the part that scares me the most—is a number of our members went down to the border and we went down very early once the administration changed this behavior and these policies,” McCarthy said.
“When I was there, I was speaking to a border agent there in El Paso, and he told me they’re seeing more drugs than they’ve ever seen and that they’re catching people on the terrorist watch list.”
McCarthy continued, noting that it isn’t only people from Central America who have been crossing the border, noting that some 160 countries are represented.
“They have been catching people from Yemen who are on the terrorist watchlist. Why would they be coming to America that way? What do they have planned for America?
The fear I have now with what has happened in Afghanistan is people know how to come here and they come from all other countries. This is a real threat to America.”
McCarthy claimed that when the Yemeni terrorist suspects were caught at the border, they came across on different days, which means in his mind that it was not an isolated incident.
He also said that the Biden administration refuses to publicly release information regarding the numbers of people caught who are on the terrorist watchlist.
“When they caught the people from Yemen, they didn’t catch them on the same day,” McCarthy said. “Now, the administration will not release the number of people on the terrorist watchlist that they are catching. When I first brought this forward at the press conference, a Democrat on the other side of the aisle said I was lying.
“You know what’s interesting? That Democrats sits on the Intel Committee. That Democrat never apologized or did anything about it now. So if they knowingly have this information and the administration does, they need to put a stop to it because you need to protect America.”
McCarthy’s comments to Breitbart came during a long-form video special called “On The Hill,” which was taped in December. McCarthy also slammed Biden for never even visiting the southern border.
“The interesting part is President Biden has been in elected office for more than 40 years and the closest he ever came to the border is driving by it in El Paso one time,” McCarthy said.
“Why wouldn’t he visit it and know firsthand? It’s a responsibility and a problem he created with his own policy. There wasn’t one bill passed—it’s his policy, with one party rule, that has weakened America, put us in greater danger, and has spread COVID as well because of what’s coming across.”
McCarthy also says Biden’s border policies have “opened the door” for anyone and everyone who wants to enter the US to do so.
“He didn’t just open the door, he hung out a welcome sign and encouraged you to come,” McCarthy said.
“But remember what happens when you do that. You don’t just get people illegally coming, you empower cartels. There’s going to be human trafficking. There’s going to be deaths. And then, speaking back to China, where does fentanyl come from? It comes from China.”
McCarthy noted that fentanyl coming into the country has increased by over 300 percent. He also said that in cities across the country, every one of them is a border city today due to the influx of fentanyl on city streets.
And what of the border cities?
“If you speak to any single one of those communities along the border—I talked to one mayor, he had to shut down his school just in the first nine months 46 times.
You know why Because of the car chases from the cartels coming across and the shootings. You talk to the ranchers where they’re getting grandkids kidnapped or their houses burnt down. Why? Because [the cartels] want a free run across.”
McCarthy then slammed Biden for tying the hands of border agents “that are working overtime to try to protect us.”
Biden, he said “is encouraging people to come here illegally and then what we found is he lies to the American public.
When finally the American public sees those hundreds of thousands of people under the bridges, you got a Secretary [Mayorkas] who says we’re going to send them back, but they lie to the American public and we find out months later they flew them all different places in America and no one is being tested for COVID.
But he’s saying Americans can’t go out because of COVID.”

A Saudi Arabian man believed to be a terrorist was arrested by the Border Patrol after crossing into the United States on the Arizona border with Mexico last week.
The 21-year-old was intercepted Thursday night by agents assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol’s Yuma Sector, Chief patrol agent Chris T. Clem said.
The man was captured dressed in a Central Oneida County, New York paramedic’s jacket.
Central Oneida County EMS chief Thomas Meyers said:
“We have policies in place when an employee leaves employment that we retrieve all the property, but that particular jacket we used for about 10 years which is well before my time.
“So (over) the course of ten years one or two have probably slipped through the cracks.”

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents arrested three gang members and two migrants previously convicted of sexual assault crimes.
An additional migrant was apprehended and found to have an active arrest warrant in Utah, also for a sex crime.
On Dec. 13, McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents apprehended a Dominican Republic national whose record checks revealed he was convicted and sentenced to two years’ incarceration for strong-arm rape in Massachusetts in 2017.
He was subsequently removed from the United States, according to a press release issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on December 14.
On the same day at the Harlingen Border Patrol Station, agents arrested five illegal immigrants from El Salvador.
One 34-year-old man had been previously sentenced to ten years of probation for sexual abuse of an individual less than 11 years old in Suffolk County, New York, in 2005, according to criminal record checks.

A federal court sentenced the same illegal immigrant to 14 months in prison for unlawful re-entry after removal as a convicted sex offender.
That same year, the man was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement for being in possession of a forged instrument.
In 2019, he was sentenced to 14 months’ incarceration for being unlawfully in the U.S. after being deported, according to the CBP.
The CBP also reported that on December 8, MCS agents encountered a man from El Salvador. Records show that the man was a Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.
He was previously sentenced to 18 months incarceration by a Georgia court for conspiracy to distribute cocaine in 2011, according to a CBP press release.
On the same day, agents identified another Salvadoran national whose records revealed affiliation to the Sureño gang.
The man had several previous arrests, including corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and assault with a deadly weapon that causes great bodily injury.
Wellton agents nabbed two felons Monday. Joel Campos-Velis, a 31-yr-old migrant from El Salvador, is a suspected MS-13 gang member with an assault conviction; and Gabriel Hernandez-Perez, a 31-yr-old from Mexico, was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual battery. pic.twitter.com/SPZa7sXaYc

On December 9, Border Patrol arrested five migrants near Hidalgo. One of those migrants was identified as a man who was arrested in 2013 for having sex with a minor in El Salvador.
Later that evening, agents identified another MS-13 member near Hidalgo who had been sentenced to 185 days in jail in 2019 for being in the U.S. after previously being deported.
On December 20, RGV agents interdicted two migrant smuggling events that resulted in 34 migrant arrests and two firearms seized from a La Joya migrant stash house.
The southern border has been bleeding illegal immigrants into the United States since President Biden took office in January. His lax immigration enforcement policies have emboldened those wishing to cross the border into the U.S., say many.

In November, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R) led 80 of her colleagues in sending a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas urging him to act in advance of the 3,000 migrants in a caravan headed to the U.S. border, answering President Biden’s call for leniency and reduced enforcement.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) led a group of 14 U.S. Senators joining in the letter.
Rep. Stefanik said:
“Joe Biden’s failed border policies have created the worst crisis at our southern border in 30 years. These policies are now incentivizing mass caravans of illegals to head to our southern border.
“Instead of addressing the root cause of our border crisis, the Biden Administration is doubling down on their failed policies. It is past time for the Biden Administration to take action to secure our southern border and our nation.”
Sen. Cruz joined the call for action:
“President Biden and Vice President Harris’s political decisions and immigration policies have created a man-made crisis in South Texas cities like Del Rio—hurting local Texas officials, farmers, ranchers, and businesses who are running low on resources to address the massive influx of illegal immigrants in their communities.
“As another caravan heads to our southern border, President Biden and his administration must reverse these disastrous policies that have emboldened international criminal cartels, human traffickers, and drug smugglers, and enforce federal immigration law to secure the border.”

Texas Border Patrol agents nab 10 convicted sex offenders in one week, see 3,166% increase in sex offenders crossing illegally
May 29, 2021
TEXAS – In the face of a massive influx of convicted illegal alien sex offenders, one Border Patrol Sector recently arrested 10 such criminals over the short span of a week.
The U.S. Border Patrol reports that agents in the Del Rio Sector in south-central Texas arrested 10 convicted sex offenders between May 17 and May 24, 2021.
Between May 17 and May 23, agents arrested several Mexican nationals who had felony convictions that included:
“forcible sexual abuse, sexual assault of a child under 14, sexual assault of a child, sexual assault, sexual conduct with a person under 13 and a registered sexual offender.”
Also during that time period, they arrested “two Honduran nationals with felony convictions for statutory rape, and second-degree sexual assault of a child.”
In addition, on May 24, agents arrested two additional Mexican nationals, one with a previous felony conviction for “lewd and lascivious molestation,” and the other with a previous felony conviction for “lewd and lascivious acts with a child.”
Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II said in a statement:
“The majority of these criminals were apprehended in our sector’s most remote areas, attempting to avoid detection by crossing far from populated areas.”
“Our agents’ sign cutting and tracking skills were instrumental in capturing these criminals, preventing them from infiltrating our communities.”
The U.S. Border Patrol notes that these arrests represent part of a significant uptick in the number of convicted sex offenders crossing the border.
95 convicted sex offenders have been arrested in the Del Rio sector alone since the beginning of fiscal year 2021, which represents a massive 3,166 percent increase over the same time period during the last fiscal year.
In 2021, Del Rio authorities have nabbed 95 border crossers previously found guilty of sex crimes.
That marks a 3,166% increase compared to numbers from the previous year.

A group of attorneys general from several states has suggested that border-crossing sex offenders may be emboldened by the Biden-era cancellation of Operation Talon, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation that deported convicted sex offenders who were illegally living in the U.S.
Attorneys general from 17 states, including Missouri, Texas, Mississippi, and Florida, penned a letter on February 18 to President Joe Biden, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and ICE Acting Director Tae Johnson, requesting reinstatement of the program.
“This ill-advised decision [to cancel the program] threatens to empower sexual predators to victimize women and children in America, and to exacerbate the tragic crises of sexual assault and sex trafficking among migrant and immigrant communities.”
The authors also pointed out that statistics showed an astounding increase in illegal aliens with sexual offense convictions crossing the border. In 2017, they stated, one percent of arrestees had previous convictions for sexual offenses, but in 2020 that number had risen to six percent.
How many got through?

“In addition to failing to protect America’s children and other victims from sexual predators, canceling Operation Talon will have other vicious effects as well.
“The cancellation of this program effectively broadcasts to the world that the United States is now a sanctuary jurisdiction for sexual predators.
The attorneys general continued:
“This message creates a perverse incentive for foreign sexual predators to enter the United States illegally and assault more victims, both in the process of unlawful migration and after they arrive.
“It will also broadcast the message to other criminal aliens who have committed other offenses that any kind of robust enforcement against them is unlikely.”
Meanwhile, the United States continues to wait in vain for vice president and Biden-appointed immigration czar Kamala Harris even to visit the border.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki has indicated that there are no current plans for a border trip, though one might be possible.

Psaki stated during a recent daily briefing:
“I expect she will make a trip to the Northern Triangle at some point soon.
“So that would be where she would travel given her purview.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has denied that there is a crisis at the border, recently announced that he does have “changes” in mind for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but he added:
“What those changes will be, I am wrestling with right now, quite frankly.”
