Manhunt for Father Accused of Killing 3-Month-Old Daughter

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Gwinnett County police are searching for a man accused of killing his 3-month-old daughter.

The baby, Adriana Hamilton, was rushed to the hospital on Sept. 9 from an apartment on Spring Lane. Sadly, she died on Wednesday from severe injuries incurred while in the care of her father.

Police say her mother left the infant with her boyfriend, Charles Hamilton, 44, while she went to the laundromat to wash clothes. Hamilton is the child’s biological father.

Officers say Adriana suffered broken ribs and bleeding on the brain, reported WSB-TV.

The man in hiding has been charged with murder, cruelty to children and aggravated battery.

Hamilton has not been seen or heard from since the day before Adriana died.

Hamilton is a black male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 lbs. His last known address was on Roswell Road in Atlanta.

Hamilton may be driving a tan 2008 GMC Yukon with license plate number TRINI3. The front license plate displayed is a flag of Trinidad.

If you see him, contact Gwinnett County police.
