London, KY – It can be challenging spending so much time in close quarters with family during the holidays, but that lesson rings especially true for a Kentucky man who was arrested for using his Christmas dinner as a weapon, reported Fox 10.

David Brannon was arrested and placed in jail after allegedly using a Christmas ham as a projectile in an argument on Sunday night. Brannon, 21, reportedly became furious after getting into an argument over which day the family was going to have Christmas dinner. According to authorities, Brannon began throwing items at the woman during the argument, including the ham. Several other items were found on the floor of the room.

When authorities dispatched to the domestic disturbance call, Brannon tried to flee police and evade arrest. Brannon now faces charges of assault as well as evading police on foot.

Brannon is being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center. His bond for the evasion charge was set at $1,000 and his bond for the assault charge is pending.
