Congresswoman Maxine Waters demands removal of President Trump under 25th Amendment

LOS ANGELES, CA- Can we just acknowledge that Maxine Waters (D-CA) is a raving lunatic?

You know, when Biden was looking for a “woman of color” to be his vice-presidential pick, most conservatives were hoping he would choose Waters. Because her unhinged rants are the perfect definition of how off-the-rails Democrats have become.

This is no longer the party of JFK; or for that matter, even Bill Clinton. The Democrats are the party of extremist nutjobs, and Waters is the poster child.

On MSNBC (or as Mark Levin refers to it, MSLSD) on Saturday, August 15th, Waters once again called on President Trump to be removed from office under the 25th Amendment.

What makes Waters’ call so amusing, is the fact that her party is running the poster child for that amendment’s invocation in Joe Biden, whose cognitive decline would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

What is equally as amusing is Waters has been asking for this since President Trump was sworn in back in January 2017.

According to Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, a president can be removed from office if he is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

So, what set Mad Maxine off this time? President Trump had the audacity to criticize Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris (D-CA).

You see, Harris has been declared out-of-bounds by the Democratic party, with media outlets having been instructed on how she, as the first “woman of color” to run on a presidential ticket, is to be treated.

According to Breitbart, Waters was asked about the president’s “attacks” on Harris. Waters replied:

“The president of the United States of America is unbelievably divisive. The president lies. He’s pitting people against each other, going back to the old birther argument that they attempted to use against Obama.

“This is a president hat is the most deplorable human being [nice pivot to a Hillary comment] that I have ever encountered in my life. And he’s undermining our democracy. We cannot take any more of this president.

“This president is not only attacking the person that was just appointed or selected by Biden to be his vice president, and he is not hesitant to do it. This man has no shame. The name-calling, he called her nasty, and on and on. I don’t know how much more the American people can take.”

Not one to hold short on criticism of President Trump, crazy Maxine continued:

“As a matter of fact, when you couple that with what he’s doing, undermining our democracy, tearing up our post office, I believe that it is time for Section 4 of Amendment 25 to be put in place and his cabinet should send to Nancy Pelosi, the speaker, as identified in the Constitution, that this man should be removed from office.

“Section 25 should be put in place. He is dangerous. He is tearing up, again, this country, undermining our democracy.

And I want to tell you something, I’m getting more complaints about what he’s doing to the post office than I have on any other issue in my district. He cannot have our post office. He cannot do this. We’ve got to stop him.”

So, Waters is on a rampage because the president is questioning the ability of the United States Post Office to properly handle tens of millions of mail in votes, and the fact that he is refusing to bail the service out after years of mismanagement.

And Waters also conveniently forgets that the Messiah of the Democratic party, Barack Hussein Obama also criticized the post office back in 2009.

Obama had compared the postal service to private companies such as FedEx and UPS, and was accused by Ted Keating, president of the National Association of Postal Supervisors, of using the postal service as a “scapegoat.”

This came during the run-up to Obamacare, when Keating said that Obama was using unfair comparisons between the postal service and the private companies.

At that time, Keating criticized Obama for using the postal service as an example of a failing government enterprise, calling it a “kick in the chest.”

Keating implied that support of Obama by the postal unions and their support of his candidacy, led them to believe Obama “owed” them, even though he did not specifically say that, and in fact made a point to say that they did “not expect any special consideration.”

In a New Hampshire town hall in August 2009, Obama said, in part that:

“…if you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.”

In fact in 2016, Obama called for the elimination of 12,000 employees in his FY 2017 budget. The fact is, the post office, which is a poster child for a bloated bureaucracy, has always been a convenient target for presidents when looking to rein in government spending.

The Democrats know that by having large-scale mail-in balloting, they will throw the entire election into chaos, which plays right into the Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming the system. They want the results of the election to be called into question. Why else would Democrats be making it such an issue?

They are using the coronavirus as a convenient excuse, but since they tell us that “masks work” and “social distancing works,” using the pandemic as an excuse to not have in-person voting is a joke.

For those who are susceptible, they have always had the opportunity to use absentee balloting as an alternative, but widespread mail-in voting is a recipe for disaster. President Trump is correct for questioning its viability.

Waters continued her unhinged rant:

“I’m not even supportive of just having a hearing. I want to have an injunction against the president based on all the actions that he has taken that is so obvious it is political, that he is trying to destroy the post office because he believes that mail-in voting, absentee voting will defeat him and he will do anything.

“It was referred to by one of my friends as the scorched earth approach. This president will do anything to try and stay in office. So, I think we need to get right to the court with an injunction. I will be talking with the speaker about that today.

“He has demonstrated that he is undermining the democracy. It is in defiance of the Constitution and I want him to be stopped. I don’t think a  hearing is enough. I think that we need to go directly to the courts and try to get an injunction against any more movements by him.”

Maxine Waters—unhinged, lunatic Democrat. And that is being kind.
