Suffolk County (Long Island) New York detectives  announced today that they now believe that ten bodies, including one toddler,  found in a deserted beach area are the victims of a single serial killer.   Four bodies were initially discovered December 11, 2010.  Six additional bodies were discovered subsequently.   At one time, Suffolk County Police believed that as many as three killers were involved, but have since revised that theory.  Some of the bodies have been identified as sex workers, while other remain unidentified.  One of the bodies is from a case at least 15 years old, while others are more recent.
