On 77th anniversary of D-Day, Lincoln Project compares America’s Greatest Generation to Antifa criminals

The following editorial is written by a retired police officer and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

USA- I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one. Slam MSNBC’s resident braggard and phony Brian Williams? Or the poorly named organization called the “Lincoln Project,” comprised of anti-Trumpers and neo-con Republicans?

Abraham Lincoln must be rolling in his grave by his name and likeness being used by this group of un-American cretins.

In case you missed it, according to Breitbart News, the Lincoln Project, which more aptly should be named the Lenin Project, or the Marx Project published an ad which makes the comparison between World War II veterans and Antifa.

And by comparison, the ad claims that both antifa and our World War II heroes play for the same team. Where to begin?

In 1941, our nation suffered the worst day in our nation’s history when Japan attacked our bases at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Despite brain-dead Democrats drawing an equivalency between December 7 and this past January 6, there really isn’t one.

After we were attacked by the Japanese, America declared war and thus began our involvement in World War II.

Across the country, young men went to recruiters’ offices and signed up for military service, be it the Army, the Navy or the Marines, or the Army Air Corps. Among these men were actually some as young as 16 and 17, who lied on their papers in order to serve their country and fight Japanese, German, and Italian aggression.

These brave heroes fought in places such as Guadalcanal, Midway, Iwo Jima, Saipan, North Africa, at the Battle of the Bulge and on the beaches of Normandy.

Most of these men as they prepared to go into battle knew they had less than a 50% chance of surviving. Yet they still did it to preserve and protect the freedom that we as Americans cherish (or at least some of us).

On June 6, 1944, the allies began the liberation of France, storming the beaches of Normandy in places such as Omaha, Utah and Juno Beaches. As our brave young soldiers approached the shoreline and as the ramps dropped down on their landing craft, many were gunned down before they even had a chance to leave those amphibious assault craft.

All told, there were over 209,000 casualties among the allies, with the United States suffering 22,119 casualties including killed, missing, prisoners of war and wounded.

As our brave soldiers approached those beaches either in landing craft or by parachute, they knew they had less than even odds of surviving. Yet they did it.

This brings us to the Lincoln Project and Brian Williams. It is absolutely mind boggling that this group of neo-con nutjobs and Williams believe there is any type of equivalency between a group of domestic terrorists and those who risked their lives to stop Nazi aggression.

On Friday’s MSNBC broadcast of Williams’ show, “11th Hour,” Williams touted an ad by the Lincoln Project which compared our brave World War II soldiers to antifa anarchists.

Noting that the anniversary of D-Day was coming up Sunday, Williams said, “If it wasn’t our finest hour, it’s hard to say what was. And the folks at the Lincoln Project are out with a reminder to all.”

Williams then played the leftist propaganda ad, which read as follows:

Who is Antifa? They stormed the beaches of Normandy, parachuted into the French countryside, and gave their lives to face down and fight back against fascism.

They took down Nazi machine gun nests, tore apart the Third Reich’s strongholds, liberated concentration camps, liberated France, Italy, Belgium, Holland. Anywhere Antifa saw fascism, they fearlessly and relentlessly annihilated it.

Fascism was defeated because of patriots like thee, proud Americans who knew that the fight against fascists was not simply a battle between opposing nations, it was a war against inhumanity, a war that isn’t nice, but cannot be lost, a war we still fight today.”

Then, over footage of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson talking about left-wing violence, the ad further said, “Anti-fascism. It’s not a cable news talking point. It’s an American ideal that should be memorialized. Because it was paid for in blood.”

If you want to see the truly brain dead, read some of the responses to the above tweet. Unbelievable.

Not for nothing, but what a bunch of brain-dead bullshit. Comparing World War II heroes to a bunch of murdering, anarchist, America-hating thugs? Are these morons for real?

Here’s a definition of fascist. Let’s see if it doesn’t fit Antifa perfectly.

Fascism: a political philosophy, movement or regime that…stands for…forcible suppression of opposition.

Can you say Antifa? Here are some examples:

We’re pretty sure our World War II vets had ZERO in common with these clowns.

The Lincoln Project was slammed on Twitter for making this absurd, ridiculous, brain-dead, un-American comparison between our Greatest Generation and a bunch of soy-drinking, basement dwelling, whiny, unproductive, violent, neanderthal morons.

We aren’t sure if anyone actually took the Lincoln (Lenin) Project seriously before, but maybe they should stick to getting out from under their apparent pedophilia problem and leave our World War II heroes alone.

World War II veterans and Antifa cut from the same cloth? Antifa would have peed their pants.

We reported last year on how these Antifa “heroes” vandalized monuments to true American heroes last year. For more on that, we invite you to see how these cowards defaced memorials to our military veterans.

WASHINGTON D.C. – The National World War II Memorial.  The National Law Enforcement Memorial.  Both tributes to the fallen… both reportedly defaced by Antifa this weekend.

Not just in Washington D.C., but all across the country, rioters targeted landmarks that paid tribute to the fallen.

On the outside of the National World War II Memorial’s central fountain, vandals asked whether black veterans count. Apparently they don’t count enough for the vandals to respect their memory.

The Friends of the National World War II Memorial hit back on Twitter, pointing out that the memorial honors and remembers the one million black veterans who served.

The National Park Service said several memorials across Washington, D.C. were vandalized, including the Lincoln Memorial.

That’s where someone spray painted “Y’all not tired yet?”

“In the wake of last night’s demonstrations, there are numerous instances of vandalism to sites around the National Mall,” the National Park Service for the National Mall said in a tweet with photos of defaced monuments.

“For generations the Mall has been our nation’s premier civic gathering space for non-violent demonstrations, and we ask individuals to carry on that tradition.”

It’s not just war memorials.

From D.C. to Sacramento and between, the attacks on tributes to the fallen continued.

In one case of vandalism, the thugs couldn’t even spell the word they were trying to spray paint.

With messages from “murderers” to “fuck the police”, the vandals – reportedly Antifa members or supporters – all seem to have evaded capture.

We spoke with a United States Marine combat veteran who was livid.  “Joe” currently does contract work with law enforcement, and so he’s asked us to keep his identity confidential.

But he put it best.

“Hey Antifa – you’ve disrespected my brothers and sisters who died in combat.  You’ve spit on the graves of my brothers who died on duty.  It’s time to step up and meet me nose to nose in the street.  Then we’ll see how tough you are.”

Speaking of disrespecting those who serve… tonight, we’ve received disturbing footage out of Austin.

It shows a group of Antifa militants taunting the homeless under an overpass, then lighting a homeless man’s mattress on fire.

Law Enforcement Today spoke with an Austin police officer on the condition of anonymity.  He said the homeless man is known in the area and believed to be a combat veteran who has battled PTSD for years.

Apparently Austin police are reviewing the footage and trying to identify the suspects.

In the video, the homeless man rushes to recover his mattress from the fire while shouting, “I live here!”

“What are you doing?!” he cried. “I live here! What are you doing! What the fuck are you doing?!”

On Saturday, President Trump declared that he’ll be designating Antifa as a terror organization.  And things are heating up quickly.

The Minnesota National Guard has been armed and is on high alert.

This is after the FBI reportedly warned of a ‘credible, lethal threat’.

The National Guard’s top general requested military police units from out of state as a result of the threat.  He has not requested active-duty forces yet.

These threats reportedly came after officials worked to determine if extremist groups had infiltrated police brutality protests across the country.

Law enforcement is looking into if they deliberately tipped largely peaceful demonstrations toward violence.

To make matters worse, they’re investigating if foreign adversaries – such as Russia – were behind a growing disinformation campaign on social media.

On Saturday, an Antifa activist group put out a message that encouraged people to consider Minnesota National Guard troops “easy targets,” according to two Defense Department officials.

The activists were encouraged to steal “kit”, or the weapons and body armor used by the soldiers.

The officials were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, reports one outlet.

Now, soldiers with the Minnesota National Guard have been armed during all missions at protests across the state.

The soldiers are sometimes – but not always – armed.  Yet for the past few days, they haven’t been armed as they’ve moved into parts of the state taken over by riots.

In the state, the troops do not currently have the authority to make arrests, and are there to act essentially as extra security for police.

There are currently more than 4,100 National Guard soldiers and airmen in Minneapolis.

Hours after President Trump declared that he’ll be designating Antifa as a terror organization, they reportedly made the ultimate threat – we’re bringing the war to the suburbs.

Now authorities are on high alert.
