Reports: Kamala Harris met with Jacob Blake’s family and legal team, tells Blake “I’m proud of you”

WISCONSIN – During a recent visit to Wisconsin, Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) met privately with the family of Jacob Blake and spoke to Blake himself over the phone during that meeting.

According to reports, Harris met with the Blake family as she made her first appearance in Wisconsin since being chosen as Joe Biden’s running mate. Members of Blake’s “legal” team were also in attendance at this meeting that took place in a private airport in Milwaukee.

Since the officer involved shooting, activists have framed Blake’s shooting as racially charged. However, authorities have said numerous time that Blake had warrants out for his arrest on charges including third-degree sexual assault and criminal trespassing.

Even with the facts presented by the authorities, Harris still told Black that she is “proud of him.”

According to a statement released from Blake’s legal team, Ben Crump said:

“Senator Harris had an inspirational and uplifting one-house visit with Jacob Blake, Jr. and his family today. She spoke individually with each family member about how they were handling the trauma and urged them to take care of their physical and mental health.”

“Senator Harris also discussed the policy changes that she and Vice President Biden will seek, including the Justice in Policing Act and implicit bias training to make things better for all Americans. She encouraged them to continue to use their voices even through their pain to help America make progress to end systemic racism.”

According to reports, when asked about her meeting with the Blake family, Harris said it was, “really wonderful.”

She is quoted saying:

“I mean they’re an incredible family and what they’ve endured and they do it with such dignity and grace. And, you know, they’re carrying the weight of a lot of voices on their shoulders.”

The week prior to Harris visiting Wisconsin, Biden also visited with Blake’s family and his legal team while in Milwaukee. In this meeting, Blake also joined in by phone.

At the time of the incident, Blake had a warrant for an alleged felony sexual assault. According to reports, Blake was forbidden from going to the Kenosha home of his alleged victim from the incident that took place on May 3rd. Police were dispatched following a 9-1-1- call saying that Blake was at the home of the victim.

The criminal complaint stated that the victim told police she was asleep in her bed with one of her children when Blake came into the room, unannounced around 6 a.m., saying, “I want my sh*t.”

The officer who took her statement said that:

“She had a very difficult time telling him this and cried as she told him how the defendant assaulted her.”

The record stated that the victim said that Blake penetrating her digitally caused her pain and humiliation and was done without her consent. She said she was very humiliated and upset by the sexual assault.

Senator Harris, a self-proclaimed champion of the #MeToo movement, immediately condemned the shooting of Blake by a Kenosha police officer. In true Democratic fashion, Harris jumped to her own conclusions before all of the information was presented.

Week later, she still does not acknowledge Blake’s criminal history as she tells Blake, “I’m proud of you.” Harris and other Democrats continue to push the race narrative in Blake’s case, but the true, hard facts do not support that narrative.

Here is another article from Law Enforcement Today about Biden’s recent visit to Kenosha:

This editorial is brought to you by a staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

KENOSHA, WI– Democrat presidential nominee, Joe Biden recently visited the Grace Lutheran Church in Kenosha where he told a small audience that President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people”.

Biden has continually repeated this false claim since the beginning of his campaign; he is like a broken record that you cannot shut off.

Allegedly, his visit to Kenosha was supposed to be about racial healing, but instead he repeated the same script, talking about white supremacists.

It seems, that he yet again attempted to paint some sort of picture, as he described the white supremacists as “coming out of the fields” and “carrying torches” with their “veins bulging”. In addition, he spoke about the young woman, Heather Heyer (he did not actually say her name), that was killed during the protests.

As Biden stood holier than thou in front of the cross, he went on to say that the president, when asked about the white supremacists, said that they were “very fine people on both sides”. Yet again, at another speech on his campaign trail, Biden mislead his audience.

The true facts are that Trump actually condemned the white supremacists. Below is the fact check:

“President Trump repeatedly condemned the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville in August. Moreover, the ne-Naxis were not the only violent group in Charlottesville. The ‘clash’ was not with those ‘standing against’ hate peacefully, but with violent, black-clad Antifa extremists.”

“As to ‘very fine people,’ Trump had been referring to peaceful protests both for and against the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.”

The excerpts from the transcript below confirm that Trump condemned the white supremacist groups:

“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as new-Nazis and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people on both sides.

You had people in that group, excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did.

You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazs and the white nationalists because they should be condemned totally, but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?

And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had troublemakers and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group too.”

So, Biden continues to spread false truths. Not to mention, he launched his campaign with the Charlottesville hoax. He has been confronted with the fact that he has been misquoting the president, but continues to do so.

His words at the church in Kenosha repeated his campaign launch speech almost verbatim. This is a script he refuses to depart from, regardless of the truth. Biden told the congregation that Trump’s words, which he misrepresented, “legitimized” hate.

According to reports, Biden’s first comment on the recent violence in Kenosha was to condemn police on August 24th for the shooting of Jacob Blake, 29, who fought with police during an altercation on August 23rd.

Blake was shot while he was resisting arrest and reaching into his car, where a knife was later recovered. Biden refused to comment on the riots that had destroyed businesses and lives the night before. In fact, it took three consecutive nights of violent protesting in Kenosha for Biden to finally condemn the riots.

In addition, Biden initially declined to visit Kenosha, but changed his mind after the President made his visit. Allegedly, he met with Blake’s family, including his father, despite Blake Sr.’s record of racist and anti-semitic views.

Biden told the church that the issue of racial justice is worth “losing” the election over and then he promised them that he would “go down fighting”.
