Group that Biden took off terror list storms U.S. Embassy in Yemen, takes hostages and equipment

SANA’A, YEMEN- According to a report from the Washington Free Beacon, the State Department is working to secure the release of several kidnapped hostages whom were taken by Iran-backed terrorists just one day after the militant group stormed the U.S. embassy in Yemen.

On Wednesday, November 10th, a group of Houthi rebels reportedly stormed the U.S. compound seeking “large quantities of equipment and materials.” The raid came just five days after the Houthis kidnapped Yemeni nationals who work for the U.S. embassy.

According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI):

“The alleged raid comes after the Houthis kidnapped three Yemeni nationals affiliated with the U.S. Embassy from one of the employee’s private residences in Sana’a on November 5th.”

MEMRI also stated that at least 22 other Yemenis were kidnapped by the Houthis in recent weeks, “most of whom worked on the security staff guarding the embassy grounds.”

The State Department confirmed to the Free Beacon that the Yemeni staffers are being detained without explanation and that the Iran-backed militants stole property after breaching the American facility in Sana’a, which housed U.S. embassy staff prior to the suspension of operations there in 2015.

A State Department spokesman said in a statement:

“The United States has been unceasing in its diplomatic efforts to secure their release. The majority of the detained have been released, but the Houthis continue to detain additional Yemeni employees of the embassy.”

The spokesman said that those still being held are “detained without explanation, ” adding”

“We call for their immediate release.”

According to MEMRI, among those who were kidnapped and held by the Houthis include a former embassy employee, an economic officer, and a U.S. Agency for International Development employee.

The United States is also “concerned about the breach of the compound” and is calling on the “Houthis to immediately vacate it and return all seized property.” The State Department spokesman said:

“We are extremely concerned by reports of detentions of some of our local Yemeni employees in Sana’a and we call for their immediate release. We have been unceasing in our behind-the-scenes diplomatic efforts to secure their release.”

The State Department said that the Biden administration will “continue its diplomatic efforts to secure the release of our staff and the vacating of our compound, including through out international partners.”

The hostage situation is likely to further inflame tensions between the U.S. and Iran, which arms and funds the Houthi rebels in Yemen. The Trump administration designated the Houthis as a terrorist organization, but the designation was removed when the Biden administration took office.

The move was reportedly seen as a “goodwill” gesture to coax Iran into diplomatic negotiations aimed at securing a revamped version of the 2015 nuclear accord. Fox News reported that the U.S. closed its Yemen embassy in 2015 amid a violent civil war that has since led to the greatest humanitarian crisis in the world.

Since the shutdown, U.S. diplomacy for the region has been conducted out of the Yemen Affairs Unit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ongoing conflict in Yemen, now in its 7th year, pushed the small nation into a humanitarian crisis that has cost tens of thousands of lives and forced millions of people onto the brink of starvation.

Editor note: In 2020, we saw a nationwide push to “defund the police”.  While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious… they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers.

And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same politicians who said “you don’t need guns, the government will protect you” continued their attacks on both our police officers and our Second Amendment rights.

And that’s exactly why we’re launching this national crowdfunding campaign as part of our efforts to help “re-fund the police”.

GOP Sen. Cramer: Biden making it ‘really easy’ for ISIS-K terrorists to come into U.S.

September 30th, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On a recent episode of Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) leveled heavy criticism against the Biden Administration’s open border policies in light of a potential attack by ISIS-K –  an attack that United States Central Command General Frank McKenzie has indicated may be in the works.

Cramer brought up the intent by ISIS-K to attack the U.S. during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on the Afghanistan withdrawal on September 28, 2021.

Directing his question to General McKenzie, Cramer asked:

“General McKenzie, about a half hour ago, you said that we know for certain ISIS intends to attack us at home, or something to that effect, right?”

After the General agreed that was correct, Cramer continued:

“So, 20 years ago on September 11th, when the terrorist hijackers took over four aircraft and attacked the homeland, all of them came here on a visa, correct?

“Now, in the last 20 years, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Taliban, they haven’t acquired ICBMs or a navy or an air force, as far as we know, so if they are going to carry out that intent, they’re going to have to get here themselves.

“And that means either through a visa program, or as refugees across the southern border.”

Cramer went on to say:

“My question to all of you is:

“Isn’t national security tied directly to good immigration security, and do you feel we’re adequately prepared for- to protect the homeland from visa holders and refugees?

General McKenzie responded that he thought the U.S. had done a “remarkable job” at “hardening the entry process” over the past two decades.

Cramer responded:

“As good as the work’s been done over the last 20 years, the last 6 or 7 months, it’s been pretty well degraded, I would say.”

Senator Cramer revisited his questioning of the General during a broadcast on Fox Network’s “Kudlow” on the same day as the SASC hearing.  He told Larry Kudlow:

“I thought Gen. McKenzie made one very profound statement, and I called him on it in the second session.

“And that was, he said, basically, there is great certainty that ISIS-K intends to attack the United States on our homeland.

“Now, I don’t know about you, but that sends shudders. I mean, with certainty, they’re convinced that ISIS-K intends to attack our homeland.”

Cramer continued:

“September 11, those terrorists came here with visas, and now, 20 years later, we have an immigration policy that expands every possible avenue for people legally and illegally to come into the country, not the least of which, of course, is at our open southern border.”

Recalling his statement at the hearing that the terrorists do not have a navy, or air force, or ICBMs, he added:

“What they have is a lax immigration policy in the United States of America.

“So, if they want to attack us, the only way for them to do it is to come here.

“And unfortunately, this president has made it really easy for people to come here.”

Cramer did not limit his criticism to President Biden’s porous borders.  He also leveled some sharp critiques at Biden himself.

He told Kudlow:

“[W]henever I’m asked about what’s in [Biden’s] head, I have a hard time, you know, analyzing it.

“There’s a couple of things.

“One of the possibilities is that Joe Biden doesn’t really know what’s going on.  I think that’s a very high possibility.

“That he sort of sees the world the way he wishes it were instead of the way it really is.  He remembers things the way he wants to remember them rather than the way they really happened.  I think that’s part of it.”

Cramer continued:

“The other part of it is, he has very little regard for the truth.  He thinks that whatever is coming out of his mouth at any given time is the truth and should be taken as the truth.

“It’s very problematic, and frankly, it’s quite chaotic.”

Border Patrol Council: Since taking office, Biden has added close to 1M illegal immigrants to the U.S. population

Originally published September 27, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C.- In an op-ed for Fox News, National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd has announced that President Joe Biden has added nearly one million illegal immigrants to the United States population since taking office in late January.

Judd stated that the total number of border crossers Biden has released into the United States, including Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs), family units, and single adults is upwards of 600,000 since January.

He wrote about the Del Rio Bridge in Texas, spanning the Rio Grande River from Mexico to the United States and how it has become the scene of the largest makeshift camp of illegal immigrants and some of the most inhumane conditions imaginable in the history of the U.S. Border Patrol. He said:

“By now, the world has viewed the constant aerial and ground footage as we all witness the largest single illegal immigration event in our history. But, unless you are on the ground at the bridge every day to personally witness the smell, noise, confusion, pain and suffering it is hard to understand just how bad the situation really is.”

The massive Catch and Release operation ensures border crossers and illegal immigrants are released into the U.S. with only notices to appear in immigration court or notices to report to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).

Data from 2019 found 9-in-10 border crossers given the notice to appear in immigration court never show up to their court hearings. Instead, the overwhelming majority live illegally across the United States.

Judd stated that the 600,000 border crossers are in addition to the more than 300,000 illegal immigrants the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has estimated have successfully crossed into the U.S. via the southern border over the last eight months. Judd wrote:

“Catch-and-release is the single biggest driver of illegal immigration right now. If we reward people for crossing our borders illegally, they will continue to come …

Although official statistics are difficult to come by, as Sen. Ron Johnson discovered on Tuesday, agents will tell you over 600,000 of the illegal border crossers have been released into the U.S. under catch-and-release since Biden took office eight months ago.”

He added:

“Add that to the more than 300,000 illegal border crossers that were detected but evaded apprehension, otherwise known as ‘gotaways’ and this administration has added almost 1 million illegal aliens to our population this year alone. And the year isn’t over yet.”

Judd continued:

“This is the reason we have a border crisis. This is the reason Texas Governor Greg Abbott is being forced to deploy state resources to the border. And this is another reason the American public should be outraged.”

The estimates come as DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that the Biden administration has released at least 12,000 Haitian border crossers into the U.S. interior over the last couple weeks.

As previously reported, the recent mass release of Haitians into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS was in response to a surge of about 15,000 Haitian border crossers taking shelter by the makeshift camp in Del Rio, Texas. Judd wrote:

“On the campaign trail, Biden promised an orderly and humane immigration system. If what we are seeing now is humane, the world better brace itself for what the president considers inhumane.”

Judd concluded his op-ed by saying:

“The natural byproduct of defunding police is dangerously diminishing the safety of the American public that law enforcement is charged with protecting. Without our rule of law, we quickly become no better than the countries the illegal border crossers are fleeing.”
