In midst of sex scandals, ratings crash, CNN to start streaming service to compete with Fox Nation

ATLANTA, GA- CNN—the Clown News Network, the Creep News Network—whatever you want to call it has difficulty with any of its programs reach one million viewers.

On some days, it receives less viewers than Paw Patrol, or even repeats of some rival news programming.

Yet, some genius thinks people are going to want to pay a premium to watch 24/7/365 of January 6. CNN, which at one time was the gold standard in cable news is in trouble—sinking ratings and sex scandals dominate news about the network, Breitbart reports.

CNN+, which the network will launch sometime early this year is the new streaming version of CNN.

Officials from the network call it the most important step in the network’s history since it was initially launched by Ted Turner some 40 years ago. However the launch is being overshadowed by scandals which are plaguing the network.

CNN also finds itself in the midst of uncertain times, with a pending merger between its parent company…Warner Media…and Discovery, which is adding to the doubts surrounding the company.

Discovery’s CEO David Zaslav is poised to run the combined companies. CNN head Jeff Zucker’s future is uncertain, but he has overseen a ratings plunge that has reached the point of being humiliating. His exit seems to be a no-brainer.

If the ratings debacle weren’t enough, two CNN producers were forced to resign recently (as Law Enforcement Today reported on) following scandals involving pedophilia.

One producer, Rick Saleeby, a now-former senior producer for “The Lead with Jake Tapper” is under criminal investigation following an expose by Project Veritas, which unmasked Saleeby for soliciting sexually explicit photos of an underage girl.

That report is detailed below.

Meanwhile disgraced ex-CNN host Chris Cuomo’s now-former senior producer John Griffin was arrested last month on child sex trafficking charges. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The allegations in that case say Griffin used Kik and Google Hangout to “persuade parents to allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive.”

One such incident involved Griffin convincing a nine-year-old girl to travel to his Ludlow, Vermont with her mother, where she was “directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity.”

Cuomo was himself sent packing from CNN after revelations that he used his position at CNN in order to help another sexual deviate, his brother, and former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, fight sexual harassment allegations.

In another embarrassment for the network, their legal analyst, Jeffrey Toobin was caught masturbating during a live Zoom call while with the New Yorker magazine, which included some of the magazine’s biggest names, the New York Post reported at the time. He was fired from the magazine and taken off the air at CNN.

Toobin’s excuse was that he believed he was “not visible on Zoom. I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video,” he said. Alrighty then.

After disappearing from CNN for eight months, he was back on the network as its chief legal analyst, joining the network’s “all January 6, all the time” package of programming.

Along with the ratings collapse and the sex scandals involving some of its “leading” programs, now CNN is launching a streaming service in an apparent attempt to compete with Fox News’ “Fox Nation” streaming service, which has been up and running for several years.

That platform includes original content programming, including a thrice weekly show called “Tucker Carlson Today,” which are long form interviews expanding on Carlson’s nightly highly-rated Fox program.

In addition, Carlson has a program called “Tucker Carlson Originals” which delves into a variety of current, important topics. Recent programs included a deep dive into the January 6 Capitol siege, the border crisis, exploding crime in Chicago, and the Kyle Rittenhouse’s case.

CNN+, as mentioned will be a subscription streaming service which will appeal to its far-left audience, many of whom have abandoned the network, which has seen its ratings collapse after Biden somehow beat Donald Trump in last November’s election.

CNN has attempted to keep the focus on Trump through its obsessive coverage of January 6, but apparently even leftists are tiring of the act.

In fact, Trump himself predicted CNN’s ratings would nosedive with him out of office and he has proved to be prophetic.

CNN regularly finishes a distant third behind Fox and another far-left outlet, MSNBC. In fact, one recent week last month saw the network average only 585,000 total viewers in primetime, putting it in 17th place among all basic cable networks.

Breitbart reported that in August, CNN went seven straight days without reaching one million viewers in one day. Carlson meanwhile averages over one million viewers (easily) per night.

Meanwhile, Brian Stelter, who hosts the hilariously named “Reliable Sources” often runs behind shows like reruns of The Golden Girls (RIP Betty White), the aforementioned Paw Patrol, and Sponge Bob  Square Pants. He has also finished behind shows on Animal Planet and the Food Network.

CNN insiders are saying that CNN+ is an attempt to gain younger viewers, however it is so far unknown what type of content they will feature to attract that demographic.

Given the typical clientele who would tune to a leftist network like CNN, perhaps they’ll stream video games or how to heat Hot Pockets. The service, according to an unverified report, will cost $5.99 a month.

CNN is attempting to build its audience by drawing on “big names,” with former Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, a liberal who will feel much more at home on CNN, having his own program on the service.

Other CNN “personalities” are believed to also be involved in the project; however their exact roles is unknown.

Perhaps Don Lemon can get a program on “how to pick up men by sticking your fingers down your pants and waving it under their nose.” Toobin can get a show, “How to Masturbate on Zoom for Dummies (Without Getting Caught).”

They can bring Chris Cuomo back to host a program called, “How to Shill for Your Nursing Home Patient-Killing Brother.” Finally, Brian Stelter can do his own version of “Man vs. Food.” Hey, maybe they can give Fauci his own program…he’s on there often enough. The possibilities are endless!

It’s probably a safe bet that executives at Fox News aren’t exactly shaking in their boots at the prospect.

As mentioned, we recently reported on the issues of sexual deviance at CNN. For more on that, we invite you to:

The following contains editorial content which is the opinion of the author.

Another day, another scandal at the Creep News Network (CNN). And in this case, CNN Anchor Jake Tapper isn’t saying a word.

This comes after Project Veritas outed Tapper’s former senior producer, Rick Saleeby who apparently fantasizes about having sex with underage girls.

Tapper remained silent as the allegations about Saleeby went public, Breitbart reports.

This follows the revelation by Project Veritas which revealed audio and text messages from Saleeby in which he fantasized about performing sex acts with his former fiancée’s underaged daughter.

Fairfax County police confirmed on Tuesday that Saleeby is being investigated by that agency’s child exploitation squad.

The Fairfax County Police Department has launched an investigation into serious allegations involving potential juvenile victims Detectives assigned to the Child Exploitation Squad of the Major Crimes Bureau are leading the investigation.

While we will eventually be transparent about our findings, safeguarding the personal privacy and safety of victims and witnesses as well as maintaining the integrity of our criminal investigation are of paramount importance.,

The agency didn’t provide additional information and Saleeby has refused to comment.

A spokesman for CNN confirmed Saleeby “resigned from his position weeks ago,” while Tapper has remained silent about the investigation into the former producer of The Lead with Jake Tapper.

Saleeby isn’t the only one that has deviant sexual issues. In 2019, Breitbart reported, Tapper also ducked questions about former CNN supervising producer Steve Brusk, who was likewise accused by Project Veritas of alleged sexual misconduct.

Look at that…All of a sudden the self-proclaimed Captain of Chivalry, the Male Feminist of all Male Feminists, Mr. Squeaky Clean, Mr. Ethics and Virtue, Mr. “FoxNewsIsaCesspool of Rape…All of a sudden when he has skin in the game, when #BelieveAllWomen becomes inconvenient to his status and income, he runs away like a sleazy politician, like a Company Man, just another white cis-gendered member of the CNN’s Patriarchy.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media networks such as CBS, ABC, and of course, CNN have scrupulously avoided the Saleeby story, while Fox, the Daily Beast and TheWrap have all reported on it.

The investigation into Saleeby’s misconduct follows on the heels of yet another pervert CNN producer, John Griffin, who was indicted by a grand jury, charged with attempting to “induce minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.”

Griffin was immediately terminated by CNN, and had previously worked as a producer for another alleged pervert, the disgraced former anchor Chris Cuomo.

Cuomo of course was sent packing after allegedly aiding his pervert brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, in an attempt to discredit his female accusers.

Mediaite reported that Griffin appeared in New Haven (CT) federal court via Zoom, where Judge Robert Spector said he would sign an order directing Griffin’s transfer to Connecticut.

A Department of Justice statement on the case read, in part:

“According to the indictment, from April to July of 2020, Griffin utilized the messaging applications Kik and Google Hangouts to communicate with people purporting to be parents of minor daughters, conveying to them, among other ideas, that a ‘woman is a woman regardless of her age,’ and that women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men.”

In one case, Griffin told the mother of 9 and 13-year-old daughters that the mother should see to it that her older daughter was “trained properly.” He then transferred over $3,000 to the mother for plane tickets so she and her 9-year-old daughter could fly from Nevada to Boston, the statement added.

“The mother and child flew to Boston in July of 2020, where Griffin picked them up in his Tesla and drove them to his Ludlow house. At the house, the daughter was directed to engage in, and did engage in, unlawful sexual activity.”

And yet, CNN preaches to us about morality. Laughable.

Two men arrested and charged with the attempted murder of a Chicago cop after shooting him during a traffic stop

For more on Saleeby, we invite you to read our prior report on him:

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – CNN continues to be embroiled in sexual scandal as a second producer is under investigation for alleged sexual offenses in relation to a minor.

Recently, as we previously reported, CNN ex-producer John Griffin was arrested by the FBI “for allegedly soliciting three mothers and their minor daughters for ‘training’ in fetish sex.”

Now, according to Fox 26 News, Fairfax County police have seized electronics and hard drives from CNN producer Rick Saleeby after Project Veritas exposed a history of sexual fantasies about, and solicitation of photos of, underage girls.

On Wednesday, December 15, Project Veritas released a video showing texts and FaceTime conversations between Saleeby and source Janine Bonanni, a victim of human trafficking and former sex worker.

Bonanni told James O’Keefe with Project Veritas that she had known Saleeby for 10 years, since he solicited sex from her while she was being trafficked, and she added that he probably felt safe confiding in her because of her past.

She said she pursued communications with Saleeby since August of 2021 in order to gather enough incriminating information to take to authorities.

Bonanni went on to share some shocking revelations about Saleeby’s fantasies of a sexual relationship with the 14-year old daughter of his fiancée.

In text conversations, Bonanni related that Saleeby fantasized about the his fiancée’s daughter: “Oh, she’s so hot, I want to do this, this and this.”

Texts continued by saying:

“She was wearing very closely cut bottoms at the pool….

“Could see the outline of her p****.

“Definitely wanted a picture.

“And we’d f*** thinking about it.”

FaceTime audio included the horrible words:

“After I’m done having my mouth on her, I’m gonna walk up and put my crotch very close to her face [referring to his fiancée’s 14-year-old daughter], slowly unzip my zipper, and just guide her head a little closer and I’m just going to have her kiss the head.

“I want you to kiss the head of my c***.  Then I’m going to put her hand on it so she can feel what the hard flesh feels like.”

Bonanni also shared that Saleeby solicited nude “mom and daughter” pictures of her and her 15-year-old daughter, “several times.”

Bonanni told O’Keefe that she did take the texts and FaceTime conversations to the police, and she was told, “There’s no case here.”

She added:

“He wouldn’t even look at my phone to show him the evidence.”

However, after Project Veritas went public with their video of Bonanni, Fairfax County authorities evidently did take the accusations seriously and have seized Saleeby’s electronics and hard drives.

Project Veritas reports further:

“Project Veritas has been fully cooperative with authorities and turned over all evidence to Fairfax County authorities last week.

“At this time, those same authorities have not yet responded to Project Veritas’ request for comment.”

Thus far, CNN appears to be keeping mum on the issue as well.

Tucker Carlson reported that his team asked CNN about the employment status of Saleeby, and “they didn’t get back to us.”

The mother of the 14-year-old child targeted by Saleeby learned of her fiancé’s sexual fantasies after she was contacted by Project Veritas.

Report: CNN ex-producer John Griffin's personal devices seized several months before sex trafficking arrest

She sent Project Veritas a gracious thank-you letter, which read, in part:

“I wanted to reach out to sincerely thank you again. I am very grateful toward you guys and everything you’ve done for me and my children. Our world has just been completely flipped upside down, but none of that matters.

“We are all safe. I’m hoping, praying, and pushing for charges to be brought against him, so he can never do this to another child/family again….

“Despite the hardships ahead, I am going to continue to sit with these feelings of gratitude toward you guys and the woman who provided you with the information. Gratitude will get us through to the other side of all this.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart and Merry Christmas.”

Report: CNN ex-producer John Griffin’s personal devices seized several months before sex trafficking arrest

Originally published December 20, 2021

On Wednesday, December 15th, Fox News reported that a Nevada criminal complaint revealed officials initially learned of CNN producer John Griffin’s “depraved proclivities” 18 months ago.

Yet the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) did not arrest him until Friday, December 10th, in Connecticut for allegedly soliciting three mothers and their minor daughters for “training” in fetish sex.

The criminal complaint against the mom who pimped out her 9-year-old daughter to Griffin in Vermont discloses several new details about the disturbing arraignment.

The third count in the federal indictment out of Vermont is based on the encounter with the 9-year-old in July 2020, for which Griffin allegedly paid the mom $3,500 via Venmo.

According to court documents, after the woman’s arrest in August 2020, federal investigators seized “computer storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and video” from Griffin on September 2, 2020.

In a statement to Fox News, a CNN spokesperson said:

“Prior to his arrest and indictment, we had no knowledge about the case.”

The media outlet also said no CNN-owned devices issued to Griffin went missing or were reported lost in September 2020, when investigators said they seized some of his electronics.

Three days after his arrest, on Monday, December 13th, CNN fired Griffin.

CNN reportedly initially said Griffin would be suspended pending an investigation, but was instead terminated by the network. A CNN spokesperson said:

“The charges against Mr. Griffin are deeply disturbing. We learned of his arrest Friday afternoon and terminated his employment Monday.”

In midst of sex scandals, ratings crash, CNN to start streaming service to compete with Fox Nation

The federal indictment accuses Griffin of trying to entice minors to his Vermont vacation home for sexual encounters in 2020 and one Nevada mom allegedly took him up on the offer in July 2020.

The criminal complaint filed against the Nevada woman on August 25, 2020 in Henderson Justice Court details the disturbing and horrific abuse, and describes the woman as the adoptive mother.

According to the indictment, the woman allegedly flew the 9-year-old from Nevada to Boston, Massachusetts, where Griffin is accused of picking them up in a Tesla and driving them to his $2 million vacation house in a Vermont ski town.

In the Nevada complaint, the 9-year-old described the Vermont house as a “cabin with a garage and three floors.” She also told investigators that a “man named John” picked her up from the airport in a red Tesla.

Following the trip, the child went back to her biological mom, who does not have complete custodial rights. However, when it was time for the adoptive mother to get her, she could not be located.

The biological mom found that the adoptive mother was logged into her daughter’s phone.

So she used it to post to the other woman’s social media accounts, asking for help in finding her.

She then discovered appalling text messages discussing sex toys, bondage activities, the girl and Griffin.

The criminal complaint says that the biological mom knew her child had been taken to Vermont, but “did not know anything like this was taking place until after she discovered these messages.”

Through the messages, the biological mom also learned that the adoptive mom “had gone out to Vermont to visit a [man] named John Griffin who she met on an online porn/sex page.”

She contacted Griffin, who said that the other woman was hospitalized in Boston during the course of the trip. However, the discussion left out details about their BDSM-themed encounter, which allegedly included explicit scenarios.

While the woman was in the hospital, the child was allegedly left alone with Griffin in his ski-in/ski-out mountainside chalet. The court papers allege:

“John claimed nothing happened between him and [the child], and told [the mom] he did not want to talk to police but would if he needed to.”

However, the 9-year-old told a social worker who interviewed her that, on separate occasions, she had been forced to watch her adoptive mother engage in sex acts with four different men, including Griffin.

The criminal complaint said that the Nevada suspect admitted to taking the child to Vermont to meet “a man named John Griffin or Gifford. She went there with the purpose of engaging in BDSM play with John.”

She denied that the child was in the room during the activities.

The Nevada woman faces numerous felony counts including child abuse, sex assault, and lewdness with a minor. Many of these charges are unrelated to the Vermont trip.

The charges that do involve Griffin allege that he watched as the child was made to perform lewd acts with the adoptive mother. After three nights of this alleged activity, the child refused to participate any further.

According to the federal indictment, between April and July 2020, Griffin allegedly invited three women and their underage daughters over “for the purposes of sexual training”. The third and final charge pertains to the Nevada child.

Griffin faces three counts of sex trafficking minors, one of which is related to the Vermont visit. If convicted, Griffin could face up to life in prison.
