Illegal alien stabs immigration official to death after asylum claim rejected

PAU, FRA– A man seeking asylum in the city of Pau, France, has reportedly stabbed an immigration official to death after his asylum was rejected.

On Friday, February 19th, at around 11 a.m. local time, a 38-year-old Sudanese migrant stabbed a 46-year-old official at a French asylum seeker reception facility. The immigration official was reportedly stabbed at least three times, with one of the stab wounds being to his throat.

The death of the official was announced on social media by French Interior Minister Gerald Darmamin, who wrote:

“I will go to Pau at the end of the afternoon to meet the staff of the association as well as the elected officials following the dramatic assault this morning. I extend my sincere condolences to the victim’s family and loved ones.”

France Bleu reported that the Sudanese migrant was arrested shortly after the attack by the Pau Anti-Crime Squad (BAC) near the crime scene.

It is believed that the man had just learned that his asylum claim had been rejected prior to the stabbing, however, this man is allegedly well-known to local judicial officials for prior acts of violence.

Breitbart reported that Pau’s mayor, François Bayrou, also commented on the incident, saying:

“This is a terrible tragedy, all the more appalling because the victim has committed himself all his professional life to the defense of migrants and those who apply for asylum; all the more appalling also because the assailant, the murderer, went to prison for assault, apparently with a knife.”

He went on to say:

“Quite rightly his application for asylum or the pursuit of asylum had been refused, he turned against the head of the department, it is of violence, of extreme absurdity… There are so many questions about this man’s journey,”

This is not the first time a migrant has attacked an immigration official in France. Less than a year ago, a 20-year-old Afghan migrant was arrested for beating the president of a French pro-migration group to death with an iron rod.

In that incident, the president of Itinérance Cherbourg, 63-year-old Jean Dussine, was killed after that suspect broke into his home and attacked him while he was asleep.

In recent weeks, Law Enforcement Today has reported on the continuous problem the United States is facing when it comes to migrants.

A former Department of Homeland Security official, and now a senior lecturer for Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, recently wrote a piece for The Atlantic suggesting that the United States could see as many as 1 million migrants trying to make their way through the border in 2021

Among these migrants are reoffending criminals who attempt to sneak back into the U.S. after being deported. Earlier in February, agents arrested 138 migrants who were attempting to illegally cross the border into the United States.

Among those migrants, a previously deported sex offender was discovered.

Here is more on that story.

TEXAS– This past weekend, Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents disrupted two human smuggling events.

Agents arrested 138 migrants who were attempting to illegally cross the border into the United States. Among those migrants, a previously deported sex offender was discovered.

Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak tweeted photos taken of the two human smuggling attempts that were disrupted by Border Patrol agents at interior immigration checkpoints.

The photos show the 138 migrants crammed into the trailers in unsafe conditions.

Despite being packed shoulder-to-shoulder in the trailer with little air ventilation, none of the migrants can be seen wearing masks or any other PPE to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Breitbart reported.

At this time, no further details about the sex offender’s criminal history were available in the tweet. Additionally, officials have not yet disclosed information about the nationalities of the 138 apprehended migrants.

This is not the first time a convicted and deported sex offender has attempted to gain re-entry into the United States in recent weeks. Law Enforcement Today reported that on January 28th, Del Rio Station Border Patrol agents encountered a migrant who illegally crossed the border from Mexico into Texas.

The migrant, since identified as 39-year-old Eduardo Bernal-Nava, a citizen of Mexico, had been previously arrested in 2015 for continuous sexual abuse of a child and lewd acts with a child.

Since President Biden took office, immigrants have considered the United States an open door, and have admitted to the fact that they are going to be attempting to enter this country in droves.

This has created situations that put America and American’s at risk. Law Enforcement Today has recently reported that a newly released bombshell report has revealed that terrorists are exploiting weak borders to try and infiltrate the United States and wage war.

Trump policy that significantly reduced asylum-seekers at border overturned by Biden administration

February 9, 2021

US-MEXICO BORDER- Joe Biden and the Democrats are trying to increase their voting base and have discovered the easiest way to do it is apparently to open the southern border.

Since Biden’s inauguration, he has taken multiple steps toward that end. Recently, he quashed asylum deals the Trump administration had made with three Central American countries that resulted in a significant reduction in the flow of asylum seekers at the border.

President Trump had made deals with the three nations—Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, which required a majority of asylum-seeking migrants to seek that status in Central American nations prior to doing so in the United States. In around two weeks, Biden dismantled that agreement.

Trump’s policy made sense. Why should people trying to escape “oppression” pass through numerous other nations in order to seek asylum in the United States. However Biden’s promise to basically open the border and offer paths to citizenship to anyone who makes it into the country has basically turned on the “Open” sign.

Biden ordered the withdrawal of the United States from the agreements with those three countries. On Saturday, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken (he’s no Mike Pompeo) said the administration had notified the three Central American nations that it had started to take steps to terminate those agreements made by the Trump administration.

Breitbart quotes Blinken as saying:

‘The Biden administration believes there are more suitable ways to work with our partner governments to manage migration across the region,” he said in a statement.

He said that the administration would work with the three countries to address insecurity and poverty which causes people to flee those countries in the first place, while allegedly maintaining control of the southern border.

“To be clear, these actions do not mean that the U.S. border is open,” Blinken said.

“While we are committed to expanding legal pathways for protection and opportunity here and in the region, the United States is a country with borders and laws that must be enforced.”

The agreements, which had been suspended to a point during the coronavirus pandemic, required anyone seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border to instead go to one of those three countries and seek asylum there.

The program was implemented in the first place in order to reduce the number of people seeking asylum in the United States. Critics claimed it reflected a retreat from U.S. obligations under international law to help people who were fleeing so-called persecution, claiming the three countries were unable to provide refuge.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. has been removing everyone apprehended at the border or seeking asylum under a public health law to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

While throughout the 2020 election campaign Biden said they did not embrace open borders, but rather were looking for a more “humanitarian” stance, their actions seem to contradict that claim.

However, actions speak louder than words and the actions of the Biden administration in three weeks indicate nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact, Border Patrol agents have been instructed to return to the Obama-era “catch and release” program, according to the Gateway Pundit. Basically this policy dictates that anyone caught crossing the border who is detained by ICE is released into the U.S. with a future “hearing date” that a majority never show for.

Under the Trump administration, any such illegals were returned to Mexico.

Biden signed a number of executive orders last week that either ended Trump administration border policies or put them under review. He also set up a task force for the purposes of reuniting Central American families who had been separated at the border under a zero tolerance program in 2018.

By far one of the most controversial actions was the reimplementation of “catch and release.” Under the new policy, Customs and Border Patrol can only hold illegal aliens who cross the border for up to 72 hours.

A statement issued by CBP said: CBP has seen a steady increase in border encounters since April 2020, which, aggravated by COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines has cause some facilities to reach maximum safe holding capacity,” said CBP public affairs officer Rod Kise in a statement to Fox News.

“Per longstanding practice, when long-term holding solutions aren’t possible, some migrants will be processed for removal, provided a Notice to Appear, and released into the U.S. to await a future immigration hearing.”

Never to be seen again.

“As the administration reviews the current immigration process, balancing it against the ongoing pandemic, we will continue to use all current authorities to avoid keeping individuals in a congregate setting for any length of time.”

The onslaught of illegals has raised substantial health and safety concerns in the midst of a pandemic.

“Federal officers are not doing any COVID testing for immigrants coming across,” said McAllen, Texas City Manager Roy Rodriguez to Fox News.

“So we actually reached out to the state of Texas, to the governor’s office. And they quickly sent us thousands of test kits so that we could supply the charity taking these people in.”

According to the New York Post, Rodriguez was also concerned about Mexico’s refusal to take in migrants who are denied entry to the US under Title 42, invoked under President Trump which allowed authorities to turn them away from the US during the health crisis, which essentially closed the Mexican border.

“There’s probably thousands of immigrants still waiting to come across right here, six miles from me,’ Rodriguez said.

“Cities like Matamoros have been dealing with that since the policy was to send them back to Mexico. So there may be a new policy moving forward and we’ve got to deal with whatever that is.”

Fox News aid former Department of Homeland Security under President Trump, Chad Wolf said the situation could get much worse due to Mexico’s actions.

“It’s a significant development that they’re not taking certain family units back under Title 42,” Wolf said.

“That’s very concerning because if you’re just doing that in one or two sectors, it’s likely going to manifest itself across that border in the very near future.”
