Harvard Students demand that Trump officials be preemptively barred from campus

CAMBRIDGE, MA– Following the 2020 Election, many on the left declared a premature victory for Joe Biden, and the wolves descended.

Law Enforcement Today reported that far-left officials such as AOC and media outlets began calling for blacklists and harassment of ally’s of President Trump.

Now it is not just public figures placing a target on President Trump supporters, as left-wing entitled students at Harvard University are calling for a Trump blacklist for the University as well.

Jonathan Turley has reported that Harvard University students have called for a  blacklists and the campaign of harassment against Trump supporters, lawyers, and officials after the election.

The students are attempting to create a divide and a bias at the prestigious establishment, by attempting to establishing a preemptive bar on former Trump officials and consultants from entering the campus until they are reviewed and vetted.

A University, which is supposed to be a neutral safe place for all to receive a sound education, has students who are attempting to create a hostile and dictator-like atmosphere, following the lead of bias Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

The students demanded that any Trump officials be barred pending a review of their record to “hold them fully accountable for that complicity”, in a formal letter to Harvard president Lawrence Bascow and other University leaders.

The letter, which is titled “Harvard Affiliates Open Letter Demanding Accountability for Trump Administration Alumni Invitations to Campus”, reads in part:

“We acknowledge this situation is nuanced as many appointees and career officials chose to join this administration to pursue the public good in spite of these norm violations. Others might claim to have upheld these norms from within.

We are simply asking the school to create and share with students transparent guidelines of accountability that ensure its full commitment to the principles American democracy is built upon.

“We remain fully committed to free speech and debate of difficult subjects — especially the damage being done to democratic governance around the world. We do not believe, however, that individuals who engage in this behavior should be legitimized or rewarded by the university.

An institution dedicated to the fostering of good democratic government should remain apart from those who were willing to bring it down for their own benefit.”

The student’s acknowledged the infringement on free speech, but essentially said they do not care, and want Trump’s administration to be held “accountable for their complicity”.

The fact that the students are calling for any Trump consultant or official to face an immediate, preemptive hold depending review of their background is a form of discrimination like no other.

Calls for bans on Obama ally’s never took place, as they most likely would have been seen as racist, yet left-wing liberals seem to think it is perfectly normal to try to isolate and suppress a particular view that is not theirs.

If the University chooses to place President Trump’s administration team on a blacklist, that will not only cause a rift between those individuals and the establishment, but it will also cause turmoil among the students who attend the University and openly support the President as well. Are they also expected to be held “accountable for their complicity”?

Jonathan Turley proposed an excellent solution in his article, which would create for a better society. We can only hope the world renowned Harvard University does not lessen themselves by complying with theses outlandish calls for bias.

Turley said:

“There is an alternative: free speech. Our universities can play a key role in healing this country rather than fostering further divisions. We can use our schools to allow for both sides to meet and ideally to better understand each other.

We can continue to disagree while gathering around a common faith in free speech as a shared value. Instead of holding people “accountable for their complicity,” we can hold ourselves to a higher burden of mutual respect and civility.”

Here is more on AOC and media outlets calls for a blacklist of Trump supporters.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-As the newly elected President, Joe Biden, took the stage for his victory speech, he was quoted as saying “This is the time to heal in America.” Apparently, that only applies to people who did not support President Trump.

The wolves are now descending, and the main targets from Democrats’ and media outlets are Trump supporters, in particular, Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller.

Now, the far-left media outlet Slate, has joined the pack and released an editorial demanding Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller be imprisoned.

A portion of the editorial states:

“But [Stephen Miller’s] also a man. And like all men who commit crimes against humanity, he should be imprisoned by the society he wounded, forever prevented from spreading his pestilence and fear. In a just world, this reckoning would happen right on Jan. 21.”

Slate is just the latest to attempt to ruin the reputations of anyone who was closely affiliated with Donald Trump and his presidency. The goal of Democrats’ and media outlets seems to be to blackball anyone who is a Trump ally.

Breitbart reported that on Friday, November 6th, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for recriminations, not just against White House officials, but against all Trump supporters, when she tweeted:

“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

Another one who came out of the woodwork, was self-proclaimed member of the Obama administration, Michael Simon. Simon answered Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter post question with “yes we are”, and linked to a site called the Trump Accountability Project,” which is posted here.

Breitbart reported that Washington Post staffers are also jumping on board. Left-wing Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is calling for anyone associated with the Trump administration to be blacklisted from holding a job and ostracized from “polite society.”

Jennifer Rubin tweeted:

“Any R[epublican] now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”

Robert Reich tweeted two weeks ago.

“When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission,”

“It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.”

Breitbart reported that late last month, the far-left Washington Post sought to clear up misconceptions about truth commissions and concluded that one that held the Trump administration “accountable” would  work with “strong, independent leadership, adequate resources and widespread public awareness, commissions — alongside other transitional justice measures — [and] have the potential to help societies publicly acknowledge past injustices.”
