Only in 2020: Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid claims government is withholding UFO evidence

WASHINGTON D.C. – What are the chances Pelosi will want to try and impeach Trump again – this time over UFOs?

A new documentary was recently released about the alleged government cover-up of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO’s).

In the documentary, several major political figures are interviewed, including former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and John Podesta, former White House chief of staff for President Bill Clinton and an advisor to President Barack Obama, according to The Daily Wire.

The New York Post reported that in the documentary, Reid insists the U.S. government has evidence of UFOs that it refuses to release.

Reid even goes as far as to allege these UFOs have interfered with American weapons.

In the documentary, titled “The Phenomenon.”, Reid says:

“There’s more than one up there,”

During the interview, Reid is asked:

“there’s some evidence that still hasn’t seen the light of day.”

To which he responds:

“I’m saying most of it hasn’t seen the light of day.”

Here is more from The Post:

“We have it — it’s there,” continued the former Nevada senator, who instigated secret UFO programs in the Pentagon.

“They did everything they could to stop the program from going forward … they wanted nothing to do with this,” Reid said of the government’s resistance to his program trying to expose the truth.

“Nobody has to agree why it’s there. But shouldn’t we at least be spending some money to study all these phenomenon? Shouldn’t we study this stuff? The answer is yes. That’s all this was about.

“And why the federal government all these years has covered up, put brake pads on everything, stopped it. I think it’s very, very bad for our country,” Reid said.

As The Daily Wire previously reported, in April the Pentagon officially released video of “unidentified aerial phenomena” as seen by Navy pilots.

The Daily Wire’s Emily Zanotti wrote:

“The videos, which leaked to media outlets back in 2007 and again in 2017, are in black and white and appear grainy, so it is difficult to discern the specific ‘UAPs,’ but, the Pentagon said, it felt compelled to substantiate the videos’ authenticity since they were already in the public domain,”

In response, the Pentagon released a statement saying:

“thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems.”

The Pentagon continued:

“DOD [Department of Defense] is releasing the videos in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos. The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as ‘unidentified,’”

In August, DOD announced it would form a task force to investigated UFOs, The Daily Wire reported at the time.

The DOD said in a statement at the time:

“The Department of Defense established the UAPTF [Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force] to improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs.

The mission of the task force is to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national security,”

The statement continued:

“As DOD has stated previously, the safety of our personnel and the security of our operations are of paramount concern.

The Department of Defense and the military departments take any incursions by unauthorized aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace very seriously and examine each report.

This includes examinations of incursions that are initially reported as UAP when the observer cannot immediately identify what he or she is observing.”

Not only has Kamala Harris discussed defunding the police, she has also talked about defunding the Pentagon if the Biden/Harris ticket wins this November. Here is more on that.

Ever since late May, the term “defunding” has become inundated in mainstream news outlets and rallying cries across the country over allocated funding priorities.

Apparently, Joe Biden’s pick for his running mate, Kamala Harris, actually entertained the idea of defunding the Pentagon.

Back in July of this year, while Senator Kamala Harris did not vote for defunding the Pentagon by 10% after an amendment by Senator Bernie Sanders was brought to the table that would enact such, she still was “grateful” of Sanders’ efforts on the amendment and said “reducing the defense budget” is something she agrees with:

“I applaud Senator Sanders and am grateful for all the work that he’s done on this amendment.

I unequivocally agree with the goal of reducing the defense budget and redirecting funding to communities in need, but it must be done strategically.”

Her biggest gripe with the amendment presented was that she didn’t find it to be “strategically” approached, but it’s unclear what that means exactly as she still thinks that the defense budget should be cut:

“I remain supportive of the effort and am hopeful that with the benefit of additional time, future efforts will more specifically address these complicated issues and earn my enthusiastic support.”

Harris further demonstrated erring on not properly funding the defense budget when she was one of 14 senators that voted against the National Defense Authorization Act in July. While the act still passed the Senate, Harris proclaimed her vote against had nothing to do with being anti-military, but because of “Trump’s border wall”:

“I voted no because Californians demand better. I could not vote for a bill that provides backdoor funding for Trump’s border wall, clears a pathway to testing a nuclear weapon for the first time in decades, and does not adequately address the scourge of sexual assault in the military.

And I could not back this bill after Republicans refused to include our amendments to demilitarize police departments.”

For someone that claims to be all about supporting the military, Harris has either managed to not cast a vote or vote against these very defense budgets for 2020 and 2019. In fact, the last time she casted a vote in favor of a defense bill was for the 2018 budget voted on the year prior.

Back in November of 2019, Biden spoke with The Military Times regarding defense spending – and he voiced back then that he was in favor of cutting defense spending:

“At a time when we’re winding down our main combat efforts from the last two decades, we need to make smarter investments in our military. We can maintain a strong defense and protect our safety and security for less.”

It seems like Biden and Harris go hand-in-hand when it comes to decreased spending for our nation’s defense.

Not to mention, Harris has quite the controversial record when it comes to locking people up for smoking the devil’s lettuce – a.k.a., reefer.
