For second time in less than a week, a Chinese national was caught on a US military base...what are they doing there?

TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA - Less than one week after a Chinese national was caught trespassing at a Marine base in the El Centro Sector in California, as reported by Law Enforcement Today, a report comes out of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, also in California, that a Chinese national attempted to drive onto the base.

Military.com reported that last week, the Chinese national was able to make it past gate guards but was immediately apprehended by military police, Marine Corps officials told the outlet.

According to Marine Corps spokesman Maj. Joshua Pena, "At approximately 12:45 p.m. on March 27, 2024, an individual attempted to access Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, without valid identification.

“Despite being prompted to exit at the Condor Gate by installation security, the individual proceeded onto the installation without authorization. Military law enforcement were immediately notified and detained the individual,” Pena continued. “They then notified and transferred custody to Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).”

Military.com said the Condor Gate entrance is adjacent to a military housing complex and within sight of an elementary school.

In a March 29 post on X, Chief Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino with CBP confirmed the suspect was in the U.S. illegally. No further information was provided.

Why would two military-aged Chinese males enter US military bases within a couple hundred miles of each other within a matter of days? Nobody knows, but it cannot be good given the current state of relations between the U.S. and China.

In September, the Wall Street Journal reported that over 100 Chinese nationals had posed as tourists over recent years to gain access to military bases and other sensitive sites, citing information from U.S. officials who believe the trend is “espionage-related.”

For example, in 2020, Chinese nationals attempted to forcibly gain access to Fort Wainwright, Alaska, claiming they had “reservations” at the base hotel. Meanwhile, another group of Chinese nationals illegally entered a naval air station in Key West, Florida, to “take photos.”

Since Joe Biden hung out the “Welcome to the USA” shingle when he was installed into office in January 2021, over 140,000 Chinese have illegally entered the country, a majority of them military-aged males, according to Just The News.

A majority of the Chinese nationals illegally entering the U.S. at the southwest border are doing so through California; at the northern border, a majority are entering through New York, according to CBP data.

The numbers have increased each year since 2021, with 23,471 Chinese nationals entering the U.S. nationwide. In 2022, the number increased to 27,756 and exploded to 53,700 in 2023, nearly doubling in two years. For FY-2024, which started in October, 36,912 Chinese nationals were apprehended through February, extrapolating to almost 90,000 for this fiscal year. In December 2023 alone, 8,518 illegal Chinese aliens were caught entering the U.S. Those numbers do not include so-called “gotaways,” which makes the actual number higher.

Of those Chinese aliens caught entering from Mexico, a majority were caught in California, totaling over 35,000, CBP data showed. By comparison, in FY 2021, “only” 263 Chinese were apprehended. By FY-2024 YTD (as of February), 22,098 have been apprehended entering through California. Texas has the second-greatest number, with over 26,000 apprehended during the same period.

Officials told Just The News that nearly all Chinese nationals apprehended are single adults, the overwhelming majority of whom are military-aged males.

In the Twentynine Palms case, US Customs and Border Protection told Military.com that the agency doesn’t comment on specific cases but confirmed the suspect was taken to a nearby station for processing following the transfer of custody from military police.

“The fact is we are enforcing the law, and regardless of nationality, there are consequences for those who fail to use lawful pathways,” the official said. “Individuals encountered at the border are screened and vetted, and those without a legal basis to stay are removed.”

The incident at Twentynine Palms comes less than two months after a 10-year-old, Ryker Frost, whose father is in the Marine Corps, was struck by a car driven by an illegal alien and killed at the same base. The accident occurred as military police officers pursued an unauthorized entry at the base’s main gate.

Katie Cherkasky, an attorney representing Gunnery Sgt. Max Frost and his wife Arielle, who have filed a Federal Torts Act claim, said the family is concerned that despite their son’s death, no new safety measures have been put in place at the entry to the base. The Feb. 16 crash also injured the couple’s two other sons.

“There’s a lot of issues with the way that this ultimately happened that made it foreseeable that this would be an issue that people would be able to run through the gate,” Cherkasky said.

Since January 2021, we have seen countless Americans killed, assaulted, robbed, raped, and victimized by illegal aliens. The fact that we have let tens of thousands of military-aged Chinese males enter the country who are likely up to no good may make those numbers pale in comparison.

Sleep well, America…Biden’s got your back.

Sounds to me like some kind of test to create a diversion for whatever they're planning.

Rick

We all knew this was coming down. But it seem that the democrats don't care about the American people. I wonder who's in-charge in the WH.

So, they're released to Border Patrol. So many questions to be answered first. How about some good old Marine Corps combat interrigation? Can we still spell waterboard??

Until such time, and maybe not even then, that these "guerilla warfare" types are shot they will continue to do their deeds. These incursions are not accidents, they are probes by soldiers of an invading army.......We the People are in soooo much trouble!

I predict that if Trump wins this November the CCP will attack us in some form or fashion, massive cyber attack and terrorist attacks with the troops they have infiltrated, between November and the end of January. They will create total chaos in our country while they attack Taiwan and Guam. If Biden wins the CCP knows that they will have more time to prepare an attack.

Renae

This country is already in total chaos due to Dems in charge. It's imperative that we get Trump back in to slow it down a bit, hopefully regain some sanity...

Get everyone of the Chinese nationals and put them on a slow boat back to China, with a target on the front and back of their shirts, incase they want to come back.

anyone resposible through reckless, crimes, or negligence needs to be charged with felony muder if an American Citizen is killed as a result. No immunity for gross negligence, leaving the border wide open is gross negligence, maybe treason!
