While You Fight the Police, We Honor Them

I don’t give a damn what the media says. It’s crystal clear to those of us who have eyes that there’s a war underway right here in America. Those under attack? The men and women who wear blue.

We see the assassinations all too frequently. But sometimes a tragedy just as great, is what happens to those who survive.

I’ve heard it in countless interviews I’ve done with police officers wounded in the line of duty.

“I wish I had just been killed. It would have been easier and my family would have been provided for.”

That’s unacceptable. And that’s why we’re bringing together our own army. Law Enforcement Today is proud to be the media sponsor of an event called “Not All Heroes Wear Capes,” in partnership with Emergency Operations Proving Grounds (E.O.P.G.), The Whiskey Patriots and Inforce.

The event will take place June 12th and 13th 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm.

It’s to honor police officers from all over the country that have been severely injured while on duty. Several of these officers have been shot multiple times and still put the uniform on to serve and protect citizens.

Several of these heroes will be sharing the story of their tragic incident for all guests at the event.

All of the heroes will be able to fire several rare full automatic weapons provided by Beck Defense and SOS Firearms. Other fun events for the heroes have been lined up for those who do not want to shoot such as off-road tours on the 3,600-acre property, and live entertainment from local country performers.

During the event, we’ll be filming season one of a new series we’re bringing you from LET and The Whiskey Patriots called “Thin Blue Blood.” You’ll recognize the host, Houston Gass, who was shot in the face with a shotgun and returned to policing to become a chief.

The heroes will receive a Purple Heart plaque presented by E.O.P.G. CareFlite will be demonstrating air medic transports from a high priority scene, coordinated by local law enforcement.

CareFlite Air Medic along with Fire Bird targets will provide helicopter rides for the heroes and special guests at the event.

There will also be special guest speakers:

  • Danny Coulson – Former Assistant Director of the FBI
  • Dub Gillum – Staff Sergeant Texas Department of Public Safety (Wounded Hero)
  • Eli Crane – US Navy SEAL and founder of Bottlebreacher.com
  • Ken Kraus – First Marine guard hostage in the Iran crisis
  • Salvatore DeFranco – US Navy SEAL and founder of Battlegrounds Coffee Company
  • Toni Brinker – Founder of Operation Blue Shield
Eli Crane, former US Navy SEAL and founder of Bottlebreacher.com will be one of several fantastic guest speakers.

Of course I’ll be bringing a big production crew from Behind the Uniforms and The Real Man Show to do some special filming about courage, honor and integrity.

Apparently I’m also giving a keynote … and Banning Sweatland, the brainchild behind E.O.P.G. and the organizer of this incredible event, promises me I WON’T be uninvited to this one.

I honor each of you for your service to the community you serve. This is the toughest time in my life time of 70 years to be a police officer, and I commend you for your bravery and commitment to protecting us. God bless you and keep each of you safe.

I support police officers where ever they serve. I was a member of my local police department’s VIPS until my health failed. Police officers are strong beyond description and I pray daily for their safety.

If you are a first responder(and family of)and would like to attend this event please email soon on how to attend this first annual event in Jacksboro, Texas. Banning@eopg.org
