Biden’s secret police target yet another pro-life advocate who committed the “crime” of praying at an abortion clinic

The following includes content which is editorial in nature.

MT. JULIET, TN- Over the last 5-6 months or so, a number of crisis pregnancy centers and churches have been attacked by pro-abortion lunatics.

In fact, these lunatics are not even afraid to leave their calling cards, with groups such as “Jane’s Revenge” and “Ruth Sent Us” proudly admitting their involvement.

Yet months later, not a single arrest has been made. In fact, not a single search warrant has been served by Biden’s secret police, otherwise known as the FBI.

So what has the FBI been doing? Conducting raids with heavily armed agents at the homes of pro-life advocates who have committed the “crime” of peacefully protesting in front of abortion mills.

Ok, so one of them, Mark Houck, is accused of pushing a man who was getting in the face of his 12-year-old son. The man was uninjured and even the overzealous Philadelphia district attorney, Larry Krasner, refused to press charges. Moreover, a civil suit filed by the so-called “victim” was promptly kicked out of court.

Yet Joe Biden’s Department of Justice wasn’t happy and conducted an armed raid of Houck’s home with an estimated two dozen SWAT-clad FBI agents who terrorized him and his family, including his children. You see you cannot even think of opposing the radical left agenda being pushed by Democrats and enforced by their version of the East German Stasi.

The latest outrage comes earlier this week, when a man who committed the “crime” of praying and singing outside an abortion business last year was also raided by the FBI, Life News reports.

Garland’s Gestapo raided the home of Chet Gallagher for exercising his First Amendment rights by praying outside an abortion mill and advocating for the lives of unborn children in Tennessee last year.

Gallagher and a number of other pro-life advocates (who we’re sure are next on the FBI’s hit list) were participating in a “rescue” at a medical building in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, where they were praying and singing inside a building that houses not only the baby killing business but a number of other medical businesses.

Mr. Gallagher was out of state when the FBI showed up at his home, guns drawn and barged into his home. They demanded to know where he was from his family, and reports are they are seeking charges against other pro-life advocates for alleged violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

That law makes it a federal crime to use force with intent to injure, intimidate and interfere with anyone trying to access abortion at an abortion mill or medical care at a pregnancy center.

Read that again: “…use force with intent to injure, intimidate and interfere…” Based on the wording of that statute, all three elements must be in place. It doesn’t say “or”…it says “and.”

A Live Action report filed covering the incident in Mt. Juliet showed it was so peaceful that the participants were all released on misdemeanor trespass charges. It should also be noted that this incident occurred over one-and-one half years ago, in March 2021. Yes, this incident was so serious that the FBI waited over 18 months to conduct and armed raid at one of the participants’ homes.

Live Action wrote:

The event in March 2021 was reportedly peaceful, with participants lining the inside hallway of a general medical office building which, in one area, houses the Carafem abortion facility. The rescuers who were gathered that day prayed and sang, and the event was nonviolent. Some recorded the events on video. Several participants were arrested by local police that day and were later released after posting bail for misdemeanor trespass charges.

Hurley said other individuals were “called by the FBI telling them they had arrest warrants and to turn themselves in.” Those individuals were named by Hurley as Paul Place, Renee Davis, Dr. Coleman Boyd, Dennis Green, and Heather Idoni. One other individual is believed to have been charged but for now remains unidentified.

We suppose we should be gratified that the FBI didn’t break into all these people’s houses armed with automatic weapons and terrorize them and their families. They appear to rather enjoy it.

Life News further claims that some are concerned that the feckless attorney general himself, Merrick Garland is behind the investigations (or forcing them) and demanding the FBI raid pro-life advocates. In other words, he is weaponizing the FBI on behalf of the radical left pro-abortion fringe and using it to target political opponents of Joe Biden.

Again, according to Live Action:

“The FBI isn’t even performing the investigations,” said Hurley. “The DOJ is doing their own investigations and using the FBI as their arm of that organization…Normally, the FBI does an investigation, and if they find someone guilty of federal crimes, they issue warrants.” Instead he says, “the DOJ is…sending local branches of the FBI with arrest warrants to be their strong arm.”

Hurley notes that pro-life activists have recently been charged with FACE as well as conspiracy (to rob someone of a constitutional right), which could result in up to 10 years in prison. “This is a ne tactic the DOJ has been throwing at pro-lifers to see if the charges stick,” he says.

Houck made an appearance in federal court in Philadelphia, where he pleaded not guilty to violating the FACE Act. Houck’s attorney highlighted the fact that the case was already vetted through the state court process and was thrown out, but claims the Biden Justice Department took up the case over a year later as a form of “political persecution.”

“If he was truly a danger to the community, they wouldn’t have waited a year to prosecute,” Peter Breen, senior counsel of the Thomas More Society and Houck’s attorney said outside the courthouse.

“Serious questions need to be asked of the Attorney General. What was he thinking? Why did they do this obscene show of force against a peaceful pillar of the community?” Breen asked.

“It put officers’ lives in danger. It put the Houck family in danger. And it was an utter waste of judicial resources and taxpayer resources,” Breen said.

Even more egregious in Houck’s case is the fact that according to Fox News, Breen said his team had contacted both the DOJ and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in June where they informed those offices that while they had no case based on controlling precedent, however if they did decide to indict Houck, his defense attorneys would present Houck to respond to the summons.

That wasn’t good enough for the Biden Justice Department and the FBI, however. They needed to put on a show, which meant the next time Breen heard from anyone about the case is when Houck had already been forcibly removed from his home at the barrel of an automatic weapon.

“This is a political prosecution,” Breen said. “And what’s clear from the Department of Justice at its highest levels which is directing this case that they are trying to send a message to pro-life and people of faith—‘don’t mess with us.’ They want to intimidate—they want to cause good people like Mark to stop praying and counseling at the abortion clinics of our country. And that’s not going to happen.”

“What in the world would possess the Department of Justice to send 20 or so heavily armed agents to this family’s home, violate the sanctity of that home, frighten the children and then drag their father away instead of allowing us to present him peacefully—which we had offered to do?” Breen said last week.

Thus far, over 4,000 donations have been offered to Houck and his family totaling $251,810 through GiveSendGo, an alternative to the leftist GoFundMe. The platform also allows users to submit prayers; thus far over 3,500 prayers had been offered to the family.

According to pro-life activist Ashley Garecht, she and her husband Joe created the GiveSendGo page. She said funds raised through the effort “will go to help the family with any necessary expenses.”

Clearly, the Biden administration is using the FBI goon squad to intimidate people of faith and pro-life Americans, an opinion shared by Breen.

“This case is being brought solely to intimidate people of faith and pro-life Americans,” he said. “Mark Houck is innocent of these lawless charges and we intend to prove that in court.”

The Houck case has already drawn attention from at least two pro-life members of Congress, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX).

The attempt by the DOJ and the Biden administration to pursue these charges against in particular Houck seems to fly in the face of court precedent.

That is because in June 2019, the Thomas More Society through its attorneys won a case in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, which established a one-off altercation, such as the one being alleged by the Biden administration, cannot form the basis of a FACE Act claim.

If Houck is convicted, he faces up to 11 years in a federal prison, three years of supervised release, and fines of up to $350,000, all for the “crime” of protecting his 12-year-old son.

Meanwhile, people who firebombed crisis pregnancy centers, at the behest of unhinged leftist lunatics such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and numerous others walk the streets, untouched by Biden’s FBI. Probably because they support what these terrorists are doing.

Blind justice? Not in Biden’s America.
