Detective Ashley Schut with Cleveland Police Department was in Utah with her husband, paragliding from a well known spot when another hang glider collided with her, sending them both on an incredible fall.

Ashley is currently in Shock/Trauma at a Salt Lake area Level 1 Trauma Center. Doctors have been able to reverse paralysis by relieving spinal cord pressure with surgery and are performing her third surgery on a fractured pelvis.

Ashley is a five-year officer with Cleveland PD, currently assigned to Violent Crimes. She loves serving the people of Cleveland and connecting with the people. Her husband describes her as a very tough person, but she has a long, long road to recovery.

Every penny raised will go to the Schut family to help with the costs associated with dealing with this in a state away from home where you have no family, other than your blue family.

Please donate and show that no matter where you are in this country, there is always family to help.
